Last time I wrote that Hezbollah had fired an unguided missile at Mossad HQ in Tel Aviv. My bad!
In the comments, you will see that Ismaele corrects me.
Hezbollah fired a Qadr 1 missile, which is short range ballistic missile, maneuverable in flight with precision homing. It was not a Fajr 1 or 3 missile, although it is likely that Hezbollah is converting these to manoeuvring flight and precision guidance .
Read Ismaele’s excellent article on this, which quotes Al Mayadeen (among other sources) .
However, my basic point in the previous article remains valid — a single missile aimed at Tel Aviv is really a warning, if not a kind of dry run.
Each David Sling launcher has 12 missiles at $1 million a round. Hezbollah could overwhelm defenses by volley-fire. That, however, would be a significant escalation.
If the video I posted at the beginning of this piece is correct (one never knows really!), Israel fired a lot of interceptor missiles, both Iron Dome and David’s sling plus whatever junk they had hanging around, no doubt showering the neighborhood with fragments and killing pigeons.
Big question….
How long before Israel runs out of missiles?
US delaying Israeli request to replenish munitions and missile interceptors
Biden — or whomever runs Biden and Harris (speaking of pigeons) —is desperate to get a ceasefire in Lebanon and prevent escalation which would provide Iran with an opportunity to strike. An Israeli-Lebanese War right before the election would be a gift to Trump— the AntiWar guy.
So the White House wants to pressure the Israelis to take a break from murdering children.
Somehow I doubt the ZioNazis will cooperate. Nor will Hezbollah.
And the Houthis? And the Axis of Resistance?
Getting Things Wrong
I get things wrong sometimes. OK—often. Fortunately, I have lots of smart readers to catch the mistakes.
I am thankful for that.
In elementary school, Mrs. Wright who was a very large lady with short black hair said, “Learning from mistakes makes you smarter.“ She was looking right at me. Little Mr.Mistake. Where were you Ismaele when I needed you?
I have made a LOT of mistakes…so why am I still dumb? Oh well….
For analysts, a mistake or error, however, often leads to new directions or questions. Doesn’t make us more intelligent - just fills our heads with odd facts.
Tomorrow
I will be a year older. Not wiser, just older. How will I celebrate?
I won’t.
I still have to work on that Special Article (Part 3). I will celebrate after Chappy arrives and settles in. A Family Dinner. Me, Ichi, Chappy. PIZZA!
Thanks to you all for the many messages and well-wishes. Here’s a special thank you..
I am very grateful, of course, for the coffees. I will try to put together a list of special articles published in the past so coffee buyers can request specific articles to which I will provide download links.
Takes a little time to make that list.
September 28, 00:11 here... Happy Birthday Julian!
Happy birthday for tomorrow!
