I didn't write the report with this video-- I just do the voiceover.
So I'm providing a little bit of extra analysis.
First of all, the report talks about Israeli losses-- that is, how they are losing more and more soldiers. The MSM insist that Israel is winning. As if genocide could ever be a "win".
But
Let us remember a couple of things.
The number of Zionist soldiers lost is a tiny fraction of the number of Palestinian lives lost. However, almost all Israeli losses are military—while almost all Gazan losses are civilians. We have no accurate information on how many Gazan resistance fighters have been lost— only various estimates— which I won't quote since they're hard to verify. Suffice to say, many Hamas fighters have been killed. Tunnels destroyed.
That said, the losses the Israelis are experiencing are significant for them, despite them being small in number. Likewise the losses and equipment.
Why “significant ?
The reason is simple – the Israelis have arguably the best equipped and armed military force in the Middle East backed up by the full might of the US of A. They are used to thinking of themselves as invulnerable. Just like the US of A.
We must remember that in every American war since 1945, the Americans lost despite their casualty figures being very small compared to those of the enem , who simply didn't give up.
The Gazans are not going to give up.
Their war began in 1948 and they're getting better at fighting the Israelis – with better weapons and better training including antiarmor weapons and explosive devices-- and good snipers—a must in urban warfare.
And new missiles
Israel's horrific bombing has destroyed Gazan cities—but provided the perfect environment for guerrilla warfare.
Hamas’ resistance has also won ever increasing support not only from the Palestinian people, with young Palestinian men flocking to the cause, but from the Islamic world.
As a result, Hamas is stronger than ever, despite its losses.
How’s that song go: “We shall overcome” ?
Another thing is that Israeli actions in the West Bank, including a stated intention by many Israeli politicians to annex the West Bank completely— a second Nakba— are radicalizing even further an already radicalized and traumatized community. 500 West Bank civilians have been murdered— mostly women and children— with the PLO doing effectively nothing.
Corrupt as it is , the PLO is history.
Only Hamas can now be regarded as legitimately representing the interests of West Bank Palestinians. Only Hamas has integrity; it has won honor in the eyes of Palestinians. Only Hamas offers a solution, as in its 2017 charter —a single democratic secular federal state for all of Palestine where Jews, Christians and Muslims can live in peace as they once did.
What you will soon see are defections from the PLO to Hamas as the PLO splinters and disintegrates into factions, some of whom will remain nominally “PLO ” but accept the the moral, if not political authority of Hamas.
Soon, the only Palestinians the West will be able to talk to will be Hamas. The terrorists who believe in peace.
Naturally, once violent resistance—with fighters trained and armed—spreads in the West Bank, radicalization will take hold in next door Jordan-- and likely mean the end of that now increasingly detested anachronism – the Jordanian monarchy— which is to the Brits as the Zionists are to be Americans.
Israel's air war against Hezbollah as has resulted in more Lebanese casualties than Israelis— 300 to 500, with less than 50 Israelis killed. Should Israel mount a ground invasion, however, the numbers could change drastically.
For now. Hezbollah is biding its time, training troops, and learning to use new and more deadly weapons. When the time comes they will be ready. Their aim will be to overwhelm Zionist air defenses, occupy significant parts of Israel, perhaps even cripple Israel’s vulnerable electrical grid. Their approach is strategic.
So now they wait.
The Israelis are different. Like the Ukrainians, they don't do “strategy”— which requires patience, planning, and development of resources. The Zionists are reactive— driven by emotions and hatred. If worst comes to worst, AIPAC will save them. Kill, kill, kill!
So far Israeli ”successes ” have only energized and ultimately strengthened Hezbollah whose bombardment of the northern territories of Israel and the Golan Heights have resulted in those areas being depopulated of settlers.
Right now Israel is dithering – trying to make up its mind if it will undertake a full-scale offensive against Hezbollah—while the Iranians are arming Hezbollah with more and more advanced weapons and technology—as they are the Houthis.
In the case of the Houthis, we can see the results in terms of more effective strikes against shipping. Their “hypersonic” weapons are overhyped — but certainly an improvement.
Should the Yemenis manage to seriously damage an American or British military vessel, with loss of life, the American public will be asking serious questions – like whatthefuck are we doing in the Red Sea? Should such a event at the time of an economic downturn— go figure. The public is already increasingly divided. It will soon be more so.
If you read my special article coming up in a few days, you will see that the US loves proxy wars which always benefit them financially.
But they must avoid wars where they suffer casualties and embarrassing losses— and especially those that expose their weapons a less effective than advertised— as is happening in the Ukraine and against the Houthis.
Why is a Patriot missile battery more than twice as expensive as an S500 and a quarter as effective?
The Americans are unlikely to backup the Israelis with active engagement in a military offensive-- just provide them with weapons and airpower – which the Israelis already have enough of.
It will be another proxy war. American military planners however face the prospect of their weaponry failing— which hurts the bottom line for American defense companies. Share prices could drop!
Can't have that, can we?
The Americans do not want the Israelis to mount any major offensives. Just keep the American defense industry alive.
That is perhaps the only reason why the Israelis have not attempted a full-scale offensive against Hezbollah or into Syrian territory. It's professional military knows better than to try that— no matter how crazy Israeli public gets. The military knows the score.
Special article. Anti-Fragile
On one side —Michael Hudson. Emmanuel Todd, Thomas Piketty, Immanuel Wallerstein, Giovanni Arrighi. Nassim Taleb. Susan Strange. Oh…and Adam Smith. They say to prepare for a Crash — soon! One big enough to end the US of A as we know it. These people are known for their view on economics but none of them are “economists” per se, like Paul Krugman, say.
Krugman is on the other side. Optimistic.
Their backgrounds cover ancient, cultural anthropology international relations and politics, mathematics and statistics, demography, socio-economics, world systems analysis, even ethics and religion.
Each is polymathic. Each is also what Taleb calls “antifragile”—meaning they exhibit a unique sensitivity to disorder.
The Western neocolonial, neoliberal system presents it self as a international world “order” according to American rules and its institutions, and those who owe their livelihood to those institutions see only the order, even if it is a facade like a Hollywood set.
Those who are “antifragile” see the contradictions, sense the fragility of the system. They know it will break— just not when.
So, when people tell you nothing much will change—that we can “build back better”. or “Make America Great Again”—or that there will be a US of A, as today in years—think again.
I keep hoping and praying that the Zionists "win" their way into total destruction sooner rather than later.
