WWIII?
As I have often written, WWIII started years ago.
Like all world wars, this one uses different weapons from past iterations—these days, economic sanctions, terrorism, subversion, propaganda and the like, rather than panzer tanks and stukas.
The US has sought to conquer any state or people that has hesitated to bend the knee and pledge allegiance to the Stars & Stripes, hand over heart— which for most people is where they keep their wallet.
The Nazi Kiev regime’s attack on the Russian peoples of the Donbass in 2014 was part of the US assault. As were Libya and Syria. Now, it is Iran.
The ultimate goal today, however, is the domination of China.
Berletic and Brookings
Brian Berletic is correct when he refers to the 2009 Brooking Institute’s plan to reestablish American hegemony, to destroy Iran and then move to China.
Just as the RAND Corporation in 2019 laid out in detail US strategy to encircle/contain Russia including through provoking a proxy war in Ukraine, the Brookings Institution laid out a blueprint for war with Iran in 2009.
The paper includes chapters detailing US sanctions, false nuclear deals, US-sponsored terrorism and regime change operations, and the use of Israel as a proxy to start a war the US seeks to appear "reluctant" to wade into afterwards.
Russia and China can read even if the average American can’t. They know that if Iran goes, they will be isolated from the Middle East and the Indian Ocean and weakened. In this global age, it’s all about “corridors”.
It’s all about Corridors
War is peace.
Freedom is slavery.
Ignorance is strength.”
― George Orwell, 1984
Nothing the US says can be trusted.
So, Russia and China understand that Iran must win against Israel – somehow— without provoking the Zionists to do a modern Masada with nuclear weapons. That’s the catch! What they need is a long war, which depletes Israel’s resources and the US’s at the same time, reducing the likelihood of a global geopolitical catastrophe.
Trump cards
So, they are helping Iran “bigly” behind the scenes, more or less invisibly.
Pun intended, they are Iran's “trump” cards.
In my last post, I ended with a video showing that China is supporting Iran by air with huge transport aircraft, turning off their transponders as they enter Iranian airspace. Turning off the transponders helps prevent them from being targeted by Israeli aircraft of course. But it also hides their identity to some degree. “Us? We were just delivering toys for Shiite kids”.
Yeah, the kiddies just love air defense equipment, radars, electronics, and EW equipment—y’know just in case the Americans send B2s.
One can also expect that the Russians are doing the same. Large aircraft delivering vodka - for disinfection since Muslims don’t drink?
There are clues….
The Iranian media only shows images of Iranian-made air defense equipment and radars— probably at Russian request.
Iran’s media do not show S400 batteries, radars, and, especially, at least eight long-range, anti-stealth and EW Rezonans-NE and newer Ns’s .
In addition there are the Krasukha 4 systems.
Russia’s Krasukha-4 is a ground-based broadband electronic warfare system designed to interfere with the guidance and radar systems of missiles.
Mounted on a BAZ-6910-022 four-axle chassis, the Krasukha-4 operates in the X-band and Ku-band and is capable of disrupting missile uplinks, radar seekers of precision-guided munitions (PGMs), and RF data links. Its multifunctional jamming capability poses a significant threat to systems relying on command guidance or RF-based terminal homing.
In March 2024, reports emerged that Iran had developed a terrestrial electronic warfare system known as Cobra-V, reportedly with capabilities comparable to the Russian Krasukha-4.
The Cobra-V8 variant was showcased during an Iranian military exercise. Its design—featuring two circular dish antennas and horizontal panels—closely resembles that of the Krasukha-4, suggesting it may be either an indigenized version or a licensed copy.
This system has a range of about 150 to 300 km. So it was not responsible for jamming IDF missile guidance over Tel Aviv.
Nobody knows exactly how that was accomplished although some analysts suggest that it is an add-on of the Rezonans-NE / Ns system .
OK… can’t put this thing on a truck. It’s long-range EW capabilities? Really? Then again, how did the Iranians jam the Israeli defense system? Could a radar do it?
And didn’t the Israelis say they killed Iranian radars?
How to kill a radar?
Depends on the radar.
As you can see, Rezonans-NE / Ns system are fairly large static installations so it is very likely that the Israelis in their initial attack would try to sabotage their electronics and use Mossad teams to attack them with Spike ATGMs to render them vulnerable to attack later from the air. Of course, they would have to take out the radar or power generator. A hit on a single transmitter or receiver would likely not be enough. To make things worse, the thing is modular.
Did I mention that ATGMs are designed to penetrate armor? But maybe the Israelis modified the warheads for ultra large chicken wire stuff.
Mossad teams would've had to disable all of the installations which are spread out over the entire country—at least 8 Russian ones and multiple Chinese and Iranian clones as well— and do it before those radars could identify Israeli aircraft taking off from Israel.
That probably didn't happen — so the Iranians would've had a degree of warning of a pending Israeli aerial attack, allowing them to move mobile AD installations, set up decoys, and the like. Maybe that’s one reason why the damage done in the initial attack was nowhere near as bad as the Israelis had predicted and the MSM dutifully publicized .
Unfortunately for Iran, however, MOSSAD teams were also tasked with ATGM missile attacks on residences to take out key personnel and of course their wives and kids — as well as any vulnerable air defense systems they could find. They were effective in the first case; less so in the second.
Israeli cyber and sabotage attacks on communications systems were obviously very successful-- but not enough to inhibit the Iranian response. With both Russian and Chinese technical help (according to some sources) systems were up and running within about eight hours, rather than the three or four days that the Israelis expected.
The fact that you haven't heard anything about such “help” is probably an indicator that the Kremlin and Beijing are doing everything they can to help the Iranians – just very, very quietly. Naturally….
Sounds of Silence
China and Russia are not stupid. If Iran loses – they lose too. Take another look at the map I posted. They need those “corridors”.
A little technical assistance can sometimes make a difference. .
Although Iranian claims of shooting down four F35's have not been substantiated at this point, except with a few photographs of dubious provenance, it is very likely that they have been shooting down at least other IDF aircraft, certainly F-16s and the like when they dare to enter Iranian airspace.
With anti-stealth systems in place, the Israelis are probably using the F 35 in standoff mode to prevent the humiliation of having their most advanced and most expensive asset destroyed.
Are the Russians and Chinese afraid of the Americans? Of the Israelis?
Dogs are normally not that dangerous. But even a small one is lethal if it's rabid.
The Israelis and the Americans are foaming at the mouth.
Both the Russians and the Chinese share a primary goal which subsumes all others – the creation of a new, multipolar world order based on international law. The recent attacks on Russia were clearly carried out with American assistance and the modus operandi was very similar to the one Mossad used in Iran – too similar for it to be coincidental. China and Russia recognize now better than ever that the US is a mad-dog rogue state. They need to be very, very careful.
Amerika uber alles?
Iranian anti-terrorism operations are gaining momentum . Iran has destroyed Mossad headquarters in Tel Aviv— but just as important is public outrage and national fervor. Suddenly, you have 90 million people searching for suspicious activity-- and getting a lot of results. Mossad’s network in Iran will never be the same.
The Iranian military is making increasing use of Fatah 1 hypersonic missiles, with improved Fatah 2 missiles waiting for use. You will notice that Iran is using smaller numbers of missiles in more numerous “waves” as Israeli defenses become less and less effective.
As the saying goes, it has just begun to fight.
For example, it appears that i has just used the new Kheibar ( Khorramshahr-4) ballistic missile with its huge 1.5 ton warhead.
But Iran hasn’t provided the Houthis with the missiles they need to take out Israel-allied warships in the Red Sea. Then again, that can wait — the US cannot assemble an effective naval force to attack Iran for at least two to three weeks.
For now, Iran wants to keep the focus on ….Israel.
Arming Hezbollah and Yemen as proxies would be a distraction. But wait a while….and we’ll see.
In the meantime, Iran gets by with a little help from its friends.
Thank you Julian... The Russian Radars... Very important and then the importance of Iran in Chinese 'roads', both the East-West as the North-South.
All pointing to the real intentions of what i still call, by lack of something better, with just a few words: 'The Monster in the City of London.'
My sensing is clear, all pointers agree... The Monster wants to go to the Heartland, Khazaria 2.0 it already has offices in Kazakhstan, where its regime change did not go well (because of that Damned Putin...) But he will not last forever and the Monster is seldom in a hurry... except now... The rising of protests in Europe and even a full-scale Civil War (Class war) in the US. But allo, it seems that the die has been cast, (Alea iacta est). In 2-3 weeks (when the US Carriers are mostly assembled around Iran, at a proper distance) ultimately Trump will have to call war to Iran (or sneaky attack it, like Bibi did).
So since i do not really listen to narratives and only look at what HAPPENS, i will have to change my sensings: If Trump indeed falls in that trap, he loses his support of half the MAGA movement which both kill his presidency as of 2026 - or even earlier - as the MAGA movement, except when a real Leader takes that over...
And in case the outcome will be that Bibi fell in a trap and Trump will NOT prevent him to sink with the Zionist Ship and in stead takes his distance and probably saves the MAGA movement and his presidency (till the next crisis the Monster will try, as it has 4000 years experience).
So we will see... When Trump attacks Iran the coming weeks, i'll buy you double coffee next month... When he doesn't, i'll try to explain here why and how, including a free start training in how to stop thinking and start looking at reality below all those noisy words...
Just saying.
Cassandra
Optimistic. I hope you're right but I feel compelled to spray some pessimism from Denmark, far away from the mad warzone: I have a colleague, an Iranian woman, 37 years old, who fled from the regime with her boyfriend who had been in prison there. They probably came here 5-6 years ago. I asked her if she was okay and if her family in Iran is okay in this terrible situation. She said yes and went on to say that although war is always bad, she hoped it would be the end of the Iranian regime. She's actually rooting for Netanyahu and Israel, that's how much she - and I guess a lot of Iranians both outside and inside the country - hates Khamenei & co. According to her the regime has about 15% support. I have no idea if this number is close to be true, but I'm really worried that a revolution will help the evil empire reach it's goal.
All I could say to her was: careful what you wish for.
