Article 3 Progress?

I spent the today fact-checking Article 3.

Since this article is contrarian and contradicts a lot things that most people take as fact, I have tried to ground my assertions objectively - not an easy task given the consensus view —”received” wisdom.

So, of course I found some inaccuracies which required correction and some conclusions that needed more substantiation. Fixing that takes time — more checking. Sigh…

Going against the grain is not easy.

Did I get it right?

I am sure that some people will dispute my arguments. I hope they will,

While there is a “right” and “wrong” in geopolitics that is —or should be— obvious to anyone, there is a lot in between that is neither—not black or white, but shades of grey.

I believe in the Socratic method — dialectic. Asking questions. I may not be that smart but — it is better to be a wise fool than a foolish wiseman.

So, today right now, it’s Wednesday 1 AM in Japan. I am hoping to get this monster —almost twice of the length of regular special articles— out to you by the end of the week.

I do believe it is highly relevant to what we see happening in the world today.

But you are a better judge of that!
