Chappy thanks you!

And Ichi

Many thanks to all those who bought coffees to help with re-homing Ichi's new soon-to-be little brother, Chappy.

Total expenses, including donation to the shelter people, a cage for his transition, new toilet, cat tree, etc are larger than my Canadian pension- and Old Age Assistance-- which the Canadian government taxes at 15% so it has money to send to Nazis in Ukraine.

So, those coffees make a BIG difference. Thank you all.

Ichi thanks you, too.

I really think that this little boy is very deserving. He likes attention a lot-- as does Ichi. And I am around all the time, writing and researching — I can give him that!

I feel I'm doing something good.

Chappy is lucky. He could have died but didn't-- thanks to the kindness of strangers. He could have been left with chronic conditions after the operation but wasn't— thanks to a good surgeon.

I don't know why I feel this bond, with him which I also feel for Ichi. I just felt, seeing him, that we have something in common— but I'm not sure what it is. Maybe we are both feral!

In any case, I have never been able to walk away from somebody who needs me-- although I know there are probably better people out there than me. At least I try. As I get older, I hope to gradually become a better person. But I have to work at it!

Among other things, I need photos of my apartment, after it's been made ready for him and guarantor a guarantor (on account of my age).. The shelter organizations are too used to people who adopt kittens or cats when they're young and then get tired of them and dump them on the street—so they're very careful.

The special article is now two special articles, each over 3000 words . Lotsa photos.

I will send them in MS Word format, and PDF— and, on request EPUB. Somebody asked for EPUB and I just got an add-in for it. The content of the special article covers a lot of territory and tries to explain complex issues in a simple way— which even I can understand.

Lest I forget, I am thinking of a new name for “Chappy”. All suggestions are welcome!
