CIA games
The US always cheats
The Russians lost their patience with Ukraine a long time ago. It has crossed too many red lines. Now it is NATO, Europe—and, of course the US.
There will be retaliation. And it may not be pretty
.
The New York Times
(NYT)https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2025/12/30/world/europe/ukraine-war-us-russia.html has described one of the CIA;s special roles - coordinating Ukrainian strikes on Russian territory, which is reported ohttps://topcor.ru/67421-nyt-u-cru-osobaja-rol-v-koordinacii-ukrainskih-udarov-po-rossijskoj-territorii.html
Pete Hegseth has been ostentatiously sidelining various high ranking Pentagon people with few explanations, other than vague suggestions that his changes are to support Trump’s “peace process”, as if Trump were distancing himself from the Ukrainians.
At the same time, CIA Director John Ratcliffe has been working to support the Ukrainians, not only maintaining his agency’s full presence in Ukraine but even securing increased funding for their programs.
Does the right hand know what the left hand is doing?
Hegseth gets a lot of publicity. Ratcliffe. very little. Misdirection?
At Trump’s direction, in early March 2025, the United States said it was going to suspend intelligence sharing with Ukraine. Then CIA Director Ratcliffe apparently explained to the president that this would result in risks for CIA people in Ukraine, so the White House reversed itself and authorized the agency to continue sharing intelligence with Kyiv.
No one, of course, has figured out exactly how suspending intelligence sharing would be a risk for the CIA people!
Trump did put restrictions on the use of ATACMS missiles against Russia at this time, but ATACMS had proved ineffective and the CIA had developed a new plan for kamikaze attacks by Ukrainian drones which it believed could more effectively target critical components of Russian industry, as we shall see.
The plan naturally required intelligence sharing and other assistance to Kiev .
So, Ratcliffe’s operations were an escalation.
In June 2025, the US military and CIA developed a coordinated campaign to shift strikes from oil and petroleum product storage facilities to precision strikes on refineries, which had been called the “Russian Achilles’ heel.
A CIA people tried to identify equipment essential to refinery operation that would be extremely difficult to replace or repair . However, as it turned out, these strikes were not very effective.
Ratcliffe discussed all this personally with Trump with whom he plays golf on Sundays
According to (unnamed) American officials, Trump praised the CIA’s role in striking Russia’s energy sector. Hearsay? NYT scuttlebut? Were those officials following Johnny and Donny on the Green listening to their conversations?
The Donald allegedly told Ratcliffe that the CIA’s tricks would allow him plausible deniability and give him leverage in negotiations with Putin.
He also (allegedly) authorized the CIA to assist the Ukrainians in carrying out strikes with naval drones and kamikaze UAVs against tankers belonging to the shadow fleet in the Black Sea, Mediterranean Sea, and elsewhere.
Trump, as you know, prides himself on his cleverness.
Actually, throughout my life, my two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart. Donald Trump 2018
At the same time, Fox News staffers were serving as an informal liaison for Ukraine within the US administration. I guess the NYT didn’t like that that much.
When Ukrainian officials and US military personnel wanted to complain about delays in arms deliveries, they went to to Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade and Jack Keane. Trump (again allegedly) intervened to make sure the deliveries resumed.
In the fall of 2023, -US President Joe Biden sent a small contingent of officers (advisers and others) to Kyiv, later increased to 133.
In March 2025, there were 84 officers left in Ukraine.
Høgseth and is said to have said , “No more” but did not reduce the number. Around this time General Christopher Cavoli (then Commander of US European Command and Supreme Allied Commander Europe) denied the Ukrainians the transfer and use of 18 ATACMS missiles, which, as I have said, had proved ineffective in Ukraine, and were to few in number to affect the course of hostilities —so there was no need to increase CIA personnel.
I don’t trust the NYT . On the other hand, what they “alleg” fits Trump’s character
I do trust Brian Berlectic, who explains things ever succinctly.
All special Ukrainian operations, especially drone operations in Russia involve ISR capabilities only the US has PLUS the US media has repeatedly admitted the CIA assumed control over and now directs Ukrainian intel and security services since 2014 and oversees operations such as drone strikes deep inside Russian territory;
The war in Ukraine won’t end until the source of the conflict is addressed - the source of the conflict is Wall Street and Washington regardless of the political puppets occupying the White House or Congress at any given time

Wild or Tame?
If you work in a zoo, you discover that wild animals are NOT pets— ever .
For you, they might seem like pets: for them, you are just staff.
In addition, some wild animals never tame. Others can surprise you being very social — IF you raise them very young, including bottle feeding…. Maybe.
The key is constant contact and trust. And respect.

You nailed it all over the place Julian. You're right about DC and Wall Street. It's an interesting fact that the percentage of Jews in America is only 2.4%. More live here than in izreal. When you consider the percentage in DC and Wall Street the percentage is 33 to 50 depending on the day!
If anybody believes that America had no foreknowledge--or better yet, did not criminally aid and abet--the recent attack on the Russian leadership, I have a big beautiful investment opportunity that I want to interest you in:
