I have cross posted Will Schryver’s article The Summer of Fraying Threads.
Schryver was mostly writing on Twitter but has recently been banned, which is a sign of his excellence. Being banned on Twitter or YouTube is a great honor accorded only to the best. I am know I am not there yet—because I haven’t been banned, just occasionally warned.
In any case, follow Will wherever you can find him. There are lots of writers who supply a plethora of detail. But detail can be confusing.
The problem lies in sorting all that detail and making sense of it. That’s “analysis”. I call it “news forensics” because in the information age, you get everything immediately without a lot of curation, except for the purposes of propaganda
It’s like a crime scene. Who does splatter analysis for the news? Where is our Dexter? Forensic analysis is detective work.
Schryver does not post that often — but what he does post is very good.
I rank him very high, along with Brian Berletic, Alex Mercouris, Aleks and Piquet and Black Mountain. And, for China, the wonderful Godfree Roberts (please read his latest stuff).
Let us not forget Larry Johnson!
Support Will if you can. Visit the sites of those I mentioned.
These people speak truth to power. That takes courage. Let us also all honor Julian Assange.
Since Jet doesn’t care for coffee, he gets other stuff. He’s getting older, 18 going on 19. Like many cats his kidneys are not to great. So I give him Chinese herbal medicines (tinctures) - - such as cordyceps which helps kidney function, among other things. Also reishi . In Japan, when you go to the doctor, they are likely as not to prescribe Chinese medicines as Western ones. I take them regularly myself. They don’t taste all that good but you can add them to coffee in the morning. While I am 77, I only feel 100….LOL. Maybe I should rename by website, www.ageinyoung com. www.ageingold.com.
And Jet is surviving much better than the Vet expected!
Many thanks to all those who responded to my recent post with coffees. I was feeling a little down since the number of new subscribers on my newsletter is down.

True that. Double true.
