Another somewhat important information - except its proximity to Russia - is religion.

Georgians are overwhelmingly orthodox, with their own (Georgian) branch of the Eastern Orthodox church. Like Russia, and neighboring Armenia. And like their Armenian neighbors, they have not only their own language and culture, but their own alphabet. Neither Latin, not Russian, nor any other foreign import.

But unlike Armenia, there is no large & wealthy diaspora in the West that can serve as proxy to gain a foothold and dislodge the indigenous government.

In short, I see very little chances for the Western color revolution attempt to succeed.

As I write in my Special Report recently, the Western Collective - the US, Israel, Europe, and the Anglosphere -- are all collapsing. They have less and less clout.

An impressive compendium of the situation. I have seldom spent a more satisfactory five minutes over coffee than in reading this latest article by Julian. Perhaps Lenin was right and quantity eventually turns into quality. Not that Julian started off short on quality in the first place.

I know Southfront from about a decade ago. They are one of the best, and their comment section can be tons of fun ...if you like deadly, shoot-to-kill slanging matches with UkroNazis and Zionazis!

“In the US, State Department spokesperson, Matthew Miller  accused the Dream Party of  “misuse of public resources, vote buying and voter intimidation”  and talked of “consequences” if     the ”Georgian government’s direction does not change””

Matthew Miller is a threatening bully, bloated on his own power and like many of his peers is nothing but a liar and a hypocrite. Look at his response time Palestine. The USA empire is falling and the kleptocracy there is desperate to retain its control through bullying and intimidation. Accusing Russia here of election interference when you consider how much the USA and UK has interfered in governance of any country they want to control, setting off conflict and instability to put in their preferred puppets (look at Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq). He is about as honest and trustworthy as a snake in a hamster cage. He is totally driven by greed and doesn’t even out his own fellow citizens above his desire for profits and power. Kier Starmer in the UK isn’t a lot better, Europe seems overrun by far right populists, fascists and the tools of oligarchy and colonialism. The LGBTQ issues are concerning, sadly the neo-con christo-fascists in the EU/Aus/USA are equally keen to deny people basic dignity and human rights, so this all feels pretty hypocritical.

Well, OCSE ist not a EU organization. That does not mean it is not biased. But still ;-)

Thank you for correcting me. I checked further. This is NATO’s statement.

“The Organization for Security and Co-Operation in Europe (OSCE) is an important partner for NATO. Allies attach great importance to the role of the OSCE in fostering dialogue, building trust, and upholding the rules-based international order. The OSCE establishes the principles that govern international relations in the Euro-Atlantic area and embodies a comprehensive approach to human security. The two organisations play complementary roles in building security and maintaining stability in the Euro-Atlantic area. Both support the principles that underpin the European security order. Both also acknowledge the need for a coherent and comprehensive approach to crisis management, which requires effective application of both military and civilian means.”

From this you can understand the orientation of the OSCE and its performative role.

In the OSCE NATO and EU countries do not act in the spirit of the organisation's purpose either, but primarily to assert their own interests and impose them on other states. Exactly as they do in the UN. Agreed. But as in the UN, Russia is also a participating state of the OSCE (see https://www.osce.org/participating-states). The organisation itself is not set up as an instrument of power. On the contrary. But yes, today the West is trying to turn everything into its opposite.

Nicely accurate. I suppose with the cratering of the EU economically due to its politics other countries will go elsewhere for trade .

Nice article. It provides relevant background to the Georgian elections.
