American socialism?
A contradiction in terms. Because socialism requires a society.
And what does America have?
A marketplace.
A land where citizens are consumers first, human beings second.
Where healthcare is a privilege.
Where housing is an investment, not a right.
Where education is a debt trap.
Where "freedom" is the right to choose between which corporation exploits you.
Socialism with American characteristics?
That already exists.
It’s socialism for the rich—bailouts, subsidies, corporate welfare.
And capitalism for everyone else—debt, precarity, survival wages.
China’s model works because it understands that a strong state serves the people, not just capital.
America can add whatever label it wants.
But until it dismantles its system of profit over people, it will remain what it is.
A decaying empire.
With a dying middle class.
Ruled by billionaires.
Dreaming of a socialism that will never come.

Putin Article
My research on Putin relies mostly on Russian sources, especially ordinary people who knew him as a young man. It is fascinating how the Western media take a few facts and twist them and add to them to create an image of a quite different person. The premise is always the same — he is a power-hungry psychopath — a new Stalin, not that they know anything about Stalin. Everything follows from that premise.
When you look at Putin’s history, personality, and abilities you see, however, a very good man - not a perfect man, not a man who doesn’t make mistakes or doesn’t have flaws— but a man who wants to do his best.
He is worthy of respect.
Totally agree with you about Putin. So many people go along with the MSM who do a convincing hatchet job on his character. It’s very disturbing to me that we’ve been easily brainwashed and are too lazy to look to other sources of reliable information from those who genuinely seem to know what they’re talking about. Also, as Michael Hudson so rightly says ‘why would Putin want a bankrupt Europe?’
Thank you...
I agree that 'America' has a long path before them.
But at least they now have a team that is cleaning America from - or at least trying to - the inhuman Monster, its muscles and its works.
And fighting trade wars is very much preferable over Military wars or Occupation.
That is why i don't think that it is NOT good or not going in the right direction.
But it is sensing and i can't explain in words and logic why i sense that.
I have a huge lot of related facts, but i have problems to tie them in a narrative that sounds ok.
