We always hear of these issues, and there seems no solution. The herd is unmoved, and we assume that the unherded few cannot achieve anything themselves. I made a discovery while reading the Quran not long ago. It goes like this. God asks us to worship Him alone. The one we obey is the one we worship, so the Quran is telling us that we should obey no one but the Almighty (that means the Quran and the practice of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) also called his Sunnah. To obey anyone or anything else is to worship that person or thing, an act of blasphemy. This means that all man made edicts and laws are nul and void. Only the Quran and Sunnah is valid. If we apply this in life, all the power that certain people exercise over us will disappear like mist before the morning sun. If we can understand the magnitude of this finding, we will understand why we are told that this message to us via His messenger serves to set us free. Then no one can cause WWIII because no one will (legitimately) heed the call to battle. We have Common Law. We have Roman Law, and we have Religious Law. That is enough law to guide our judiciary when adjudicating in disputes brought before it. Let us think about this with an open mind.
But you are still an obedient child. Adults do not need to be told what the right thing is or to do it. They just do it. Because it is the right thing. The problem is not who you obey, but that you obey. Just do the right thing. Don't lie by claiming that you don't know what the right thing is. That is the definition of insane. Are you insane? No? Then you know the right thing. Do it, without having to be told to do it. Do it because it is the right thing, without having to have some super being to shift the blame to. If everyone does that, then we will live in a paradise. If no one does it, a hell. Guess which decision we've made.
This "reasoning" does not stand up to even cursory examination. Just because I feel good about something does not make it correct or good pe se. If that reasoning were correct, I could sit in the cockpit of a jumbo jet and fly off because I like it, it feels good, "I know it is good". What we feel has nothing to do with it. I cannot operate on someone just because I think it is the right thing to do. This makes no sense at all. There is right and wrong, good and bad. They are absolutes that have nothing to do with how we feel about them. This is not knowledge that is coded in our genes, so we are tutored on this. By studying the right material, we will learn what "really" constitutes good or bad, right or wrong, pious or evil. Age has nothing to do with our understanding or knowledge either. We do not become knowledgeable just by growing older. We have to learn. Without learning an adult is no different from a child. The difference is that an adult is assumed to have knowledge and is therefore held accountable for the consequences of his actions, while a child is not. He will find the knowledge of the difference between good and bad if he made sincere effort to learn. Acting without knowledge, acting on the basis of whims and fancies, is not sanity, its arrogant recklessness.
I am sure that this sounded cogent when you wrote it, but maybe reread it? There is zero evidence for an absolute right or wrong. Right and wrong are human concepts. They may arise through nature or nurture, probably both. Your comments on age are similarly specious. No one here said that with age comes wisdom. Even a quick scan of the species should reveal that wisdom is rare indeed. But while not sufficient for wisdom, age is for most people a necessary condition. The rest of this gibberish is straw men. No one is suggesting that we operate on people, whatever that means, without sufficient knowledge, skill, and, we hope, a good objective. No one here (in this thread) advocated for acting on the basis of whims and fancies. These are arguments that you made up to try and bolster your weak argument. Try harder.
Caitlon Johnson, who I had the pleasure in 2019 of educating about Bidens regime she was pumping up to be the saviours of America. She became all offensive calling me a Trump living freak, a strawman & God knows what else. After explaining to her I was, British & I couldn't give a shit which criminal the Americans chose. She refused to believe me, I explained to her the huge amount of share holdings Bidens inner circle of politicians owned in the MIC. Which guaranteed some fantasy evil dictators Country was next in line for a War if he win the election. Of course she labelled me every nice name under the Sun, being the died in the wool Democrat she was. She hated the facts I laid out for her, about the amount of innocent people slaughtered. While the Democrats were in power in America. I did say the Republicans were the same lying corrupt vermin. Once again reminding her I was British & standing outside looking in. It always amazed me how passionate Americans got about their politicians . When it clearly didn't matter who was in power. The same old shit kept happening. She blocked me if course, as self righteous arseholes hate the Truth. Sure enough it took Bidens criminal cabal no time to set us on the way to WW3. Believe me I made her remember her insults to me under a different account while telling her "I told you So". Now shes decided to hate all politicians & media. We're all allowed to make mistakes, but I never asked for the personal insults & still haven't received an apology despite asking her for 1 a few times. She's not the fantastic human being she likes to portray herself of being. Then again neither am I. I'm just a smart arse who can see what's in front of my face.
I agree with more of what she's saying today more than ever. It does seem she was intelligent enough to learn from her initial mistakes. Which we're all guilty of making. That's when the benefits of our older years comes in handy. When all else starts to fail & slow down. Our experience grows for the better or it should do.
Caitlin Johnstone is controlled opposition. She has a big mouth that easily becomes vulgar if she gets a bit worked up, and her husband is the same, albeit in the background.
During the early part of the Gaza genocide she writing articles heavily criticizing "israel", which was fair enough. But when I made a statement(I forget the exact context) that one should be able criticize the Jews too, just like one the Muslims, the Russians, the Chinese, etc., she became furious and banned from her substack for "anti-Simitism".
Looking back I realize I did not lose anything valuable. At the end of the day she did not bring anything new to table, except if you consider as new her rants with the same things repeated in a different presentation.
Brilliant as always Julian. I agree wholeheartedly that it is US led by the 1% who have the masses enthralled. Enthalled means to be enslaved and the masses are mentally enslaved.
You're a bit of the mark regarding Caitlin Johnstone. She's addressed the people's responsibility. You're right she hammers the media.
Yeah, we have seen the enemy and he is us. That's been on my mind when I realized I was the problem. It hit me that I was an Imperial Stormtrooper instead of Luke Skywalker.
She does address public responsibility but the blame for their lack of responsibility is put on the media and "brainwashing". All "civilizations" have orthodoxies. The responsibility of the public is question those orthodoxies. Elites do not take away our freedom of choice-- we surrender it. This is what Caitlin does not get.
I get a kick out of people who talk about the "masses" as if they weren't talking about themselves. And did you read the post? You've gotten it utterly backwards. The post says that it is the "1%" who are enthralled by the masses, not the other way around. Also, Luke Skywalker is an asshole. The Jedi and the Stormtroopers are the flip sides of the same coin. Just sayin'.
Caitlan Johnson either needs meds or needs to get off the ones she is on - tiresome ranter, she detracts from whatever worthy causes she espouses, seemingly for the applause of her vacuous cheer squad
I called Caitlin Johnstone a 'blue-pill wending-machine" and urged her to arrange mass-protests in Canberra right in front of the Zionist's embassy more than once ...
“WE, not the “1%”, are the authors of our own demise.” Agreed. When it comes to slavery I consider my fellow hoi polloi to be my biggest personal problem. As a slavery target I seek to maximize my own freedom by using subterfuge, camouflage, and evasion against the myriad systems of the slavers. I wouldn't even have slavers to contend with if the hoi polloi weren't busy building their chains and cages for them. But “feed yourself and starve the beast” isn't even in the poor creatures vocabulary, if it was and properly acted upon, the slavers wouldn't even have agency. And don't think of teaching the hoi polloi how to evade beastdom, they will get all uppity and Judas you out to the beast, misery loves company. I don't plan on being their Jesus Christ. I don't think they have the capacity to really wake up, whining and snivelling when they feel the pain of the beasts hard-on up their ass (no Vaseline) is not waking up. Then running around like a disturbed ant nest while the beast resets and upgrades the slave system is not a sustainable solution. But that's your emotional, reactive, non systemic hoi polloi. I dunno, maybe God will take pity on them and wake them up properly. I doubt it, he gives you free will, a brain, the emotional stimulus to use both, even whispers tips in your ear, and expects you to help yourself. He bred a sovereign child of the universe, not a Borg. I don't believe in reincarnation but I believe in the re-suffering of the perennially ignorant. Sometimes I pray secretly for hoi polloi enlightenment, it doesn't cost me personal resources and it's risk free.
Julian I find your smearing of Caitlin objectionable, a bit of envy perhaps? I have followed Caitlin for many years, a lot longer than you, and she has on multiple occasions held the blow torch to the masses, not just the media presstitutes. So if I'm a cow for following her does that make me a pig for following you? Regards John and the Bandit
As I have made clear many times I have followed Caitlin since she began writing— and I continue to follow her. But that does not mean I agree with her on everything. “Critical thinking” is just — “critical”. Without the “critical” part you are not thinking. You do not have analysis, you have religion.
You have followed her for years: so what? How does that make her something special for everyone else? You have your opinion about her, which you are entitled to of course, and so does and is Julian.
I think Caitlin is trash, nothing more than a vulgar sewer rat. Does that mean I am right? Yes, in my eyes and perhaps some others' but not in yours.
So, please leave Julian with his opinion and you keep to yours.
ok, the US, there is perhaps still a chance that the federation will break up, but here in Europe the permanent repetition of the same lies to protect the parasites has reached a level that amounts to self-destruction.
Europeans need their final catharsis and it looks like they will get it with their hatred of everything Slavic. They have started a world war twice and are planning a third. The majority of Serfs are satisfied even though they see the economic decline every day, their health insurance, the entire social safety net is dissolving like a lump of sugar in coffee. But the majority does not care. The serfs think war preparations are great. Since the Virus totalitarian regime the Serfs have decided to liberate the world von gruesome Russians knowing they not only have never been attacked by Russians and it has never worked in the past to conquer Russia. Like the slaves in ancient Egypt building for their ruling parasites pyramids todays Serfs of Europe believe they're working all together on a great idea. It better not to try to say something to them, they can get really very mean and report you to the mind police. For them, any criticism comes too late. Anyone who is still in Europe in the next two years will be in for a rude awakening. Better selling what you have and leave.
Yasha Levine has a good post today on the non-neutrality of tech platforms.
If you’ve not read “The Secret of Our Success” by Joseph Heinrich, you should. What C Johnstone is trying to do is to engage with what has worked positively to get us here. The non-neutrality of Tech David Graeber expands to civilization itself as the first technological wrong turn in “The Dawn of Everything”. It has allowed sociopaths and psychopaths to dominate our pro-sociality for 5000 years: 2.5% of our time as a super social species.
Our fault? Yes and no: don’t throw out the baby with the bath water!
Why do we persist in not being compassionate and generous to our fellow humans? Because we are carefully taught to pursue comforts and rank and distracted by the false rewards of this journey from turning to compassion as a way of life. You must train the mind and heart to pursue a path of helping others instead of helping yourself and placing yourself first. That's why. This is outside politics. Politics requires that you turn over responsibility for your life to a narrow base of authorities and that is never a path that can help others.
There is no real difference between people who have no doubts about Trump (or Biden) and those who have no doubt about Unz (or whomever). If you need to put people on a pedestal, it doesn't really matter who you choose. You've stopped asking questions.
The time for educating the so-called masses is over.
But there is this huge problem. What are people to do about it?
The only resort that is becoming increasingly clear is a revolution at some level. But what type of revolution should it be?
A violent revolution has very high costs in terms of the outcomes, which historically, is to merely replace one set of sociopaths with another.
A revolution like the American Revolution was developed over a period of time by a small, cohesive group of men and women across the colonies. These people developed a lot of organization first before they acted. However, these people weren't angels by any means. \
Everyone has heard of he "Committees of Correspondence". These were the groups that ensured that all communications between the various groups involved were sent and responded to.
However, few have heard about the "Committees of Safety". These were basically terrorist organizations that went into the villages and literally terrorized the populace to support the revolutionary endeavors of the core group designing the whole thing.
The American Revolution was not as popular as most Americans would like to believe. Around one third of the colonists remained loyal to the King, while another third really didn't care one way or the other. Now use today's very fractured American society today as a template and an American-like revolution would be exponentially more difficult.
The result is that what would be required is a highly focused group of intelligent and honorable individuals who would be able to formulate a very disciplined organization of men and women who were trained in Constitutional Law, government ethics, necessary weaponry, while at the same time creating the very sub-organizations that would be capable of taking over and running an actual Constitutional Government in the US.
Most of the American population wouldn't even be aware of such an endeavor until it actually happened... And was already over.
One may want a political revolution in the US, but there is literally no way for this to happen since all of the political mechanics involved at the state and federal levels are thoroughly corrupted. In addition, such organizing would be catastrophically slow and as history has demonstrated in the past 50 years or so, most such movements to accomplish this have already failed at biblical level proportions.
Finally, we have to consider a breakup of the United States into regional blocks, similar to that of the Canadian system. This is possible since there are secession movements starting to pop up in various states across the nation. Such groups are only interested in acting at the state level, which is far more manageable than attempting a federal reorganization of any size.
Such groups make a lot of sense since they would want to return sovereignty to the states, which, by the way, constitutionally, they never lost. The problem is that most state governments no longer think in terms of state sovereignty since so many years since the American Civil War have convinced so many US politicians that we are no longer THESE United States, but instead THE United States.
However, this can be done but it would be a rather erratic endeavor since there would be no real central organization to the entire process... Unless of course, one wants to consider a return to the philosophy and political sociology that were the foundations of The Confederate States of America.
Most people do not understand that the South was right in its commitment to Jeffersonian Constitutional Government. Too many still want to believe that the American Civil War was all about slavery. Unfortunately for these people, there is very little actual documentation that can substantiate such a belief...
Thank you Julian... a good start for a serious discussion...
1. @caitoz, Caitlin Johnstone does not stop to point at US, ALL OF US, without accusing we are stupid cows, that our believe in all the Narratives is because we don't UNDERSTAND that the 'Reality' that we seem to live in is a VIRTUAL REALITY, produced by masters of CONFUSION and heralds of the LIES. She even points at the person that we think we are, our EGO or personality and explains that those are also just Narratives. She calls it the Narrative Matrix, but we do not understand her and we continue to act as we are programmed to do. And so we remain in Confusion and do as the Matrix ordered us to do...
We are what we experience when we experience 'Transient Hypofrontallity', when we are ONE with what we experience, without some 'EGO' that has been programmed to take over our lives.
Sorry, i know it hurts and you immediately start calling me and Caitlin names. NAMES !!!
2. I think you will not understand that part before you have understood the first part. So i'll wait for that.
"Caitlin Johnstone pretends it is all the fault of the media. Nope. It is the happy, happy cows. (or pigs?) who are really responsible. The Cows flock to her site and say, “Moo, Moo”. But they could run away if the wanted. Of kick their herders to death."
'The Cows flock to her site and say Moo Moo' 😡
And whenever you really follow her vision on what is the real problem: She says what i mentioned in my point 1. NOT the Media. The way people think and what they think is real, Something that EVERYONE of us has the obligation to look at and to find out.
And i do not think it is time for my point 2. yet.
Oh? The virus, man, the warped DNA of moderns, all those hormone-disrupting and DNA mutating chemicals and products of the Industrial Age and now the Media-App age.
Nah, the cattle and lemming allusions for Homo Consumopethicus are stripped of those tap- dancing Oppen-Heimer-Monsters like Unz or Bernays or Zyklon Blinken or Rotten Ratner. Miller or Adelson or Ellison or Altman or Ackman or Brin or Zuckerberg. You got some heavyweights here in the suite of mind controls
The Goy-ionists are, well, over worked, over stimulated, over sold, over drawn, and that is the work of the, well, call 'em Point Zero Zero One Percent, One Percent and their cadre of Five Percenters and then the other 14 Percent in the professional Eichmann class.
They've been working hard since the 1920s, man, and that infamous 6 million Jews will die in Europe was a Jewish-Inspired number coming out in the 1930s, in New York newspapers.
Did Silverstein just pull the wool over these cattle with demolition of his BUilding Seven and his billions in Jewish and Jewish Israeli investments?
Variations on a Stockholm Syndrome theme, but again, those fetuses, now, imbued with dozens of chemicals before conception and into incubation and then bam, get those 30 or 50 inoculations by age 20, and we have something more than just veal-ready cattle.

She's a zionist asshole.
What planet are you on? She's very full of herself, but a Zionist she is not.
Brilliant as always Julian. I agree wholeheartedly that it is US led by the 1% who have the masses enthralled. Enthalled means to be enslaved and the masses are mentally enslaved.

Poor little gal !!!
Sorry to say, but Caitlin has been spoiled by success. She has become what she claims to despise. A member of an elite.
BINGO !!! 👍👍👍
But the REAL sad fact are the numbers of gullible sheeple following ...😔😔😔
Ron Unz writes some of the most intensively referenced and researched articles that you will ever read.

Except Caitlan Johnstone as is common knowledge.
You didn't answer my question.
Why do you have doubts about Unz?
There is no real difference between people who have no doubts about Trump (or Biden) and those who have no doubt about Unz (or whomever). If you need to put people on a pedestal, it doesn't really matter who you choose. You've stopped asking questions.
A voy way of evading my question.
I couldn't agree more.
A bit angry, that's all... 😉

"Caitlin Johnstone pretends it is all the fault of the media.".
OK so this may not be correct but I don't think this classifies as "...calling Caitlin names".
You're taking yourself too seriously. Have a cup of tea. I still love Caitlin...
