I spent most of the day editing and rewriting Article 3 of my series on Vladimir Putin, which will be finished soon and posted to my Google Drive for coffee buyers.
For new coffee buyers, you will find previous articles there, too to download.
And I finally figured out how to save word files as html, complete with the graphics! Html is good for people who like to use browsers to view files, with translators like Google or Yandex.
This third article is pretty long. To write about Putin, I had to talk about the USSR and Russia of course. But also about American culture and cultural indoctrination since almost everything you see written in English is not so much censored but “filtered’ and “cooked” with sauces and additives and lots of salt and sugar and spices.
So what you take in is different from what it once was.
That’s OK if you like the sauces and all that stuff.
But the nutrition is in the meat.
Of course, I am borrowing this metaphor from Levi-Strauss —
”Le Cru et le Cuit”.
You get the idea. Each culture has its cuisine. A way of processing reality/
As a culturally homeless person this is important to me.
After this there is a fourth article which deals with Putin’s childhood, upbringing and personality culled mostly from Russian sources. Here I also explore his weaknesses and flaws and various criticisms of his decisions (there are many!)
As I proceed I also want to take time to reply to all the people who bought me coffee. and especially those who have messaged me and given me help and inspiration. Thank you.
Ichi’s birthday is coming soon!

I'm finding the articles stimulating, as the opinionation makes them fun to read. As a 66-year-old American I want to comment on the assertion that '"No US President in memory has been from the “working class” as Putin is'.
My memory of Reagan places him in my "working class" - financially struggling parents and dysfunctional family, leave home and find a job, another job, and another, get married, have kids, get divorced, etc. Basically, look for opportunities, grab them, lose them, try again.
Reagan was an exceptional "working class" guy in that he was so likable and relatable he was elected Governor and then President. And he was despised by the governing class. So, my kind of guy.
{...almost everything you see written in English is not so much censored but “filtered’ and “cooked” with sauces and additives and lots of salt and sugar and spices...}
Intelect- & perception-DEforming, highly processed stuff so-to-say ...
Keep the good stuff comin' !!! 👍👍👍
