My coffee buyer Michael has asked what I think of Lukashenko's recent comment about a Ukrainian Army of 120,000 on the border of Belarus , which has about 60,000 men to defend itself. This comment after a number of Ukrainian drones were shot down over Belarus.
What does all this mean? I am not good at arithmetic . Help me!
To carry out the Kursk incursion, the Ukrainians originally had about 6500 men. So far they have lost about 4500, perhaps more .
Since the beginning of hostilities in Kursk region, the AFU losses amounted to up to 4,400 Ukrainian troops, 65 tanks, 27 infantry fighting vehicles, 27 infantry fighting vehicles, 53 armoured personnel carriers, 316 armoured fighting vehicles, 133 motor vehicles, 31 artillery guns, five SAM launchers, nine MLRS launchers, including three of HIMARS system and one MLRS system, six electronic warfare stations, as well as four units of engineering vehicles, including two counterobstacle vehicles and one UR-77 mine clearing vehicle. The Ukrainians added another 6000 men to the original 6500 drawing on forces in the Donbass, where they are losing 1000 men a day.
So let’s say they originally had available forces of 15,000. Bit they did have 120,000 parked on the Belarussian border? . And if they have 120,000 real combat troops why are they not using them where needed?
The Ukrainians keep on complaining they don’t have enough troops .
Right now, in the Donbass, they are not only outgunned but outnumbered—2 or 3 to one
Even in the 2023 CounterOffensive, the Ukraines had just about 12 brigades of 50,000~60,000 men.
Of course, about half a million men have fled the country to avoid conscription since then.
So who are these 120,000? Maybe we should ask what are they?
Say 1.5 million casualties so far— but 60 ~ 70% wounded…..Hmmmmm.
Lukashenko’s numbers come from somewhere.
Most likely the Ukrainians do have bodies ON the border.Just bodies—not combat troops. The Super Combat Wheelchair is empty.
Let us remember also that the Russians started the war with 90,000 facing down NATO’s best equipped, best trained army of 500,000—and won.
I doubt that Ukraine wants to open up another front in Ukraine in Belarus against 60,000 Belarussian troops, as well as the Russians, with the UAF lacking artillery support and air power. That situation could lead to the combined Russian Union forces going from defense to offense – a hop, skip and a jump to Lvov—cutting the Ukrainians supplies from Poland
Assuming, of course, that Lukanshenko doesn't just nuke them to make an example. He’s already suggested that.
The 120,000? Typical Zelensky. All show and no go.
Maybe a radioactive blast on the Polish border is just what is needed to knock a little sense into NATO. Nobody wants Galicia anyway.
Still, while Lukashenko might, Putin won’t do that.
He won’t set a precedent, making it easier for the US or Israel to use nukes in the Middle East.
Chappy says thanks….
After his hip operation, Chappy hates hospitals. This week and next, however, he has to undergo the torture of vaccines, the chip, the tests…. Poor Chappy.
He is only too happy to get home from the hospital and play with the kittens in the Shelter to whom he is Big Brother. He is always very gentle.
But he hisses at strangers. I think he thinks he is protecting his kitten friends. To all those who sent encouragement and coffees he says “thank you”.
Once again, the Special Report is taking more time than I expected. Blame Michael Hudson (and his friend Piketty) , Francis Fukuyama, Jacques Derrida, and Adam Smith.

Yea... arithmetic...
Not all NATO-supplies come from Poland.
It comes from Romania too. A restored Rail connection going via Moldova. Putin tried to kill the bridge in that road, but didn't succeed in that. (Yet).
I Tweeted about it in combination with what happens in Donbass, Kursk and Kiev lately.

When the Kiev-Regime has been kicked out of Kiev, they might not go to Lviv/Galicia....
They might prefer Odessa. So what will Putin take first: Kiev ? Or Odessa...?
