The AP Headline says it all. Russia struck Ukrainian worshippers on Palm Sunday – proving once again that the Russians have neither shame nor humanity, as we have been told since the 19th Century.
The source for the article? Ukrainian media of course. Not that you have to actually read the article, whose contents are easy to infer.
But just to make things clearer for you, AP relies on authoritative sources.

This was a precision Iskander strike on a military awards ceremony with high ranking UAF officers, mercenaries and NATO personnel, which makes it a legitimate target . The missiles took out just one building, with damage to the adjacent buildings and a bus on the road.
The regional authorities invited civilians, including children, to the event.

The use of civilian areas for military purposes is indeed forbidden in international humanitarian law because it violates the principle of distinction and exposes civilians to unnecessary risks. Specifically, this means the presence or movement of civilians cannot be used to shield military objectives from attack or to shield, favor, or impede military operations
The Western Media cares about about law—even humanitarian law—for which they see exceptions. For one thing,not all some humans are more human than others, therefore more deserving. Ukrainians are definitely more human than Russians and Palestinians and Yemenis and other brown-skinned people, not human at all
Around the same time, the Russians were blowing up UAF officers in Sumy , the Israelis were killing Palestinians in Gaza — more than 40, including children, with over a 100 injured. Palm Sunday? Shafaq News/ The US has approved a major arms shipment to Israel, Yedioth Ahronoth reported on Tuesday, as the Israeli military continues operations in Gaza and prepares for potential strikes on Iranian nuclear sites.
According to Israeli officials cited by the newspaper, the shipment will include more than 3,000 munitions for the Israeli Air Force, aimed at supporting ongoing operations in Gaza. An additional 10,000 aerial munitions are expected to replenish Israel's stockpiles following 18 months of sustained combat across multiple fronts.
The new delivery follows a previous deal for heavy munitions purchased from the US last year, after the Trump administration lifted a freeze originally imposed under President Joe Biden.
In February, the US government approved a $7.41 billion arms package for Israel, including precision-guided munitions and related equipment. The Pentagon’s Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) notified Congress that the deal was intended to maintain Israel’s defensive capabilities.

Remember the three Putin articles? Each is pretty long so I am going to release one at a time for coffee buyers. The first two by this weekend.
Putin is central to each article but also a jump-off point for divergent comments and connections, especially commentary on and analysis of propaganda, the manipulation of historiography and belief systems, the decline of Western cultures and the rise of “alternative cultures”, the “Heartland”, world systems theory.
How did a man like Putin, from a simple working class family come to reinvent a entire 1000 year old civilization?
His special abilities and talents played a role but also a whole range of circumstances.

I have published some excerpts already but these were from drafts — and the articles have been reworked and rewritten now many times. So what you get will be different.
Some of the saddest moments were always when I was driving in those combat zones watching vehicles full of bullet holes but very little human cadavers but totally frightened animals which where running headless across roads like chicken do when they heard a few shots. They had completely lost their otherwise good self-control and caution. And when you arrived in such a ‘cleaned’ place you could only see the animals looking hopeful at you to be taken away by you. Well, I don't want to go on about it, it's not forgotten yet.
Remember that until just recently (a year or two ago), the Ukraine and Russia both celebrated religious holidays in accordance with the JULIAN calendar. Easter (Sunday) in accordance with the JULIAN calendar occurs this year on the 20th of April; that is this coming Sunday. I haven’t been to the Ukraine lately, but I have my doubts that the entire population is in agreement with Zelenskyy’s decision and now celebrates Easter in accordance with the Catholic (Gregorian) calendar, having done so like the Russians (JULIAN calendar) for over ONE THOUSAND YEARS.
So, were the citizens of Sumy truly celebrating Palm Sunday??
