As you may know, I spent forty years doing analysis on events and trends for most of Japan’s biggest companies and almost all Japanese ministries, plus foreign multinationals in various companies. A kind of media whore I guess - but I have always sought to work with honesty and integrity — not for just money —and that was not easy, as you can imagine.
Now, at 76 while I may look younger than my age (my profile photo was taken last year) but I often feel oooooooooooooooooollddd with the dizzying pace of change that we see in almost all areas of life. I figure I have been very lucky in my life.
Now I want to give back.
We are OD-ing on Info. I am trying to make sense of it in my writing.
I am fortunate to have had excellent response from my subscribers both in direct support and ntelligent criticism.
I am not smart enough or good enough to do this alone!
Subcribership on News Forensics is free. But some people wanted to upgrade to Paid! They told me when they tried, they couldn’t. With their help, I figured out the problem and it should work now.
I am not in this for the money.
If you want to support me and my cats, you can upgrade to Paid now. Or just buy me a coffee if I write something you think is worthwhile.
In high school, I worked in a Zoo where I made friends. My version of ASD makes it hard to distinguish between human beings and animals.

Apologies. It was a tropical aquarium for Lorenz who realized the different bright colouration of fishes a specific food niche so weren’t seen as a threat.
However aggression appeared within the species of fish who all looked alike.
Trouble today with us is that we all look alike but some are drugged out on Wat crazies.
We have it complex.
Oh to be in the brightly coloured fish world of simplicity!
Brilliance is seeing little difference between us and animals. Konrad Lorenz studied this to look for our reasons of behaviour and succeeded with a goldfish bowl!
I don’t think alone either. It’s no fun to be stuffy.
