That hospital "attack" that wasn't.

Russia’s attack on Ukraine children’s hospital was a depraved act of violence: UK statement at the UN Security Council

That was the official UK reaction to the partial destruction of a children's hospital in Kiev. And is summed up the western “spin” on the event. “Spin” indeed – dizzying hypocrisy. Russian “depravity”?

Look at the photo.

Was this caused by a Russian cruise missile? Specifically- the KH101 with a 400 kg warhead?

As the Russians have said if they targeted a building like this, it should have been completely destroyed, with a lot more than four casualties.

In this conflict, only the Ukraine has a policy of targeting civilians, as they have been doing since 2014. By and large, the Russian stick pretty close to the truth whereas the Nazis lie over and over again, knowing the Western media will pick up those lies and run with them, endowing them with credibility.

Bucha is a good example. It was a massacre of course— but one carried out by the Ukrainians against Russian sympathizers.

Bellingcat — that rather famous — or infamous- CIA propaganda site— has published an analysis of the strike purporting to prove that the missile shown on a video falling from the sky was Russian and and not an AIM 120 NASSAM.

As a video specialist and professional, I have my doubts about this “analysis” as I do about the video and its provenance.

First it’s blurry and fuzzy. Video images are just as easy to manipulate as photographs, considering that each frame is a photograph. Blurry ones easier.

Assuming that the video is real, it could be a KH101.

As I said. however, that should have caused much greater damage to the building, destroying the entire structure completely. The AIM 120 NASAMS missile has a much smaller warhead 20 kg. Adding kinetic energy, it could cause damage of this kind.

If it was a KH 101, that it would have to have been knocked off course from its intended target just 2 km away by an interceptor missile with the proximity fuse eall NASAMS missiles have.

In that case, the missile’s trajectory would be at an angle rather than almost vertical. If it was an AIM 120,it would have a similar trajectory. And indeed its trajectory is angular.

Notice the trajectory of the missiles - which look a lot different from the one in the first video.

One thing is certain. Russia did not “attack” a hospital. It does not target non-military targets. If it was a KH101, it would have been knocked off course by a NASAMS missile.

But neither the truth nor reason matter.

This yet another reason why Russia has to end up in control of ALL of Ukraine and why there can be no negotiated solution.

Like all street cats, it took time to gain Chappy’s trust. Especially after a painful operation. If I take him in, I will have to work to show him I’m OK. Fortunately, he seems good-natured. I will have to make adjustments to my apartment and at the same time that Ichi still feels “ichi” (first!).
