Trump 2.0?

So what can we expect from the new Trump administration, which is almost certain to take over from the Dithering Democrats— especially as conspiracy theories about the assassination attempt take hold?

Same old,. Same old. Emphasis on “old”.

Biden's Neocons will be replaced by Trump's Neocons.

As Brian Berletic has noted in a recent video Trump did not start any wars-- but it wasn't for want of trying! It was Trump who almost started a war with Iran by assassinating General Soleimani. It was Trump who authorized US occupation of Eastern Syria. It was Trump who crossed Russian redlines by supplying Ukraine with weapons prior to 2020, enabling their military buildup and invasion plans.

Trump is also unabashedly pro-Israel and pro-genocide.

The only difference between his administration and Biden's will be that he is more likely to try to force the Europeans to pay more or the war against Ukraine—which will continue as a money maker for the military industrial complex in the US.

He will of course pardon himself and all those involved in the Capitol Insurrection, The current Attorney General Garland will be history. Fair enough. . But this is the guy who helped persecute Julian Assange. The American Injustice System will not improve.

Let's remember that some Congressional and Senate seats are up for grabs in 2024 .. The Democrats’ ongoing circular firing squad is likely to give the Republicans more power in Congress, as well-- not that the Republicans actually like Trump that much. they do not learn from history

No matter, Dems and Republicans are really faction of the same party. They will both drown.

No voter wants to believe he doesn’t really matter, so he buys into the idea that there are two substantively different parties frantically competing for his attention, the ideological fate of the country hanging on his decision every few years. We are sure to see the US continuing to support Israel and the Middle East while upping the ante against China in Asia, using sanctions, the Philippines and Taiwan, and the usual bad manners.

Relations with Iran will get even worse than they are.

There will be an attempt to get Yemen into line and Hezbollah. But given the increasing sophistication of Iranian weaponry-- and Iran’s increased ability to use Chinese and Russian military technologies—American efforts in this area are bound to be a failure.

Something like this could happen again. But it would be a warship most likely.

Turkey is moving ever closer to BRICS as are more and more other countries, including the Saudis.

Trump threatens to to penalize countries rejecting the dollar as a trade currency-- but weaponizing financial instruments will be merely foster faster development of BRICS and greater unity, undermining the dollar faster.

And he is foolish to think he can threaten India.

That's the problem. Biden was / is senile. Trump was / is foolish.

All we need now is an economic crash—and the US of A, that most vulnerable of nations, is pretty much finished.

My Supervisor

My Supervisor would like you to know that he keeps careful watch over my activities. It's a hard job – but somebody has to do it!

We are looking forward to welcoming his little brother at the end of the month. So I'm throwing out a lot of stuff to make more space. It's amazing how much junk I accumulated over the years! I need extra space for the new cat tree, extra toilet, cage and feline hiding places (or maybe I can hide too!)
