More innocent people die

I started researching and writing about Venezuela earlier today. But the reports all seemed contradictory and it was hard to know what was happening.

Only one thing was clear: the US had had to do something soon—something extreme— because their carrier, the Ford is overdue for maintenance and a refit and things are heating up with Iran.

Now things are a little clearer – but only a little. Trump acted to kidnap Maduro and his wife with a Delta Force team under the cover of airstrikes on Caracas. There are naturally going to be a lot of Venezuelan casualties.

So Maduro goes to the US for trial.

The charges are a joke, a travesty, and delusion all rolled into one.

Will Maduro and his wife find justice in a country, which as killed up to 115 suspect drug smugglers, with no evidence at all, contrary to all commonsense notions of justice? Just for the crime of being in a small boat off Venezuela.

Justice? Maybe they will be “Epsteined”.

The casualties in Caracas were not “collateral damage”— they were murders.

Appropriately this is also the anniversary of Trump’s murder of General Soleimani.

As I have said before, Biden had dementia — Trump is just demented.

He is also foolish. For one thing, removing Maduro changes nothing — it is just likely to harden the resolve of the Chavistas to resist. No one has any illusions about the Gringos anymore.

Maduro always knew he might have to be replaced.

Now, power now shifts to :

Delcy Rodríguez (Vice President): now holding the presidency according to the constitution.

Diosdado Cabello (Interior Minister): a powerful figure within the ruling United Socialist Party (PSUV) with deep ties to the military.

Vladimir Padrino López (Defense Minister): controls the armed forces and has announced a nationwide military deployment in response to the U.S. operation, ordering a “united front of resistance”. The Americans reportedly launched missiles at his home, a sign that he is a threat to him — and competent.

Faced with this vile and cowardly attack, which threatens the peace and stability of the region, we raise the most forceful denunciation before the international community and all multilateral organizations to condemn the U.S. Government for the blatant violation of the United Nations Charter and international law. Padrino López declared.

Citing the Constitution, the Organic Law on States of Exception, and the Organic Law of National Security, the Venezuelan government has declared a state of external threat. FANB is mobilizing its operational capabilities—including land, air, naval, river , and missile units— to form a unified combat force.

Maduro had proclaimed a “state of emergency” when the US strikes began, which will remain in place. He had stated.

The aim of this attack is the seizure of Venezuela’s strategic resources, in particular its oil and mineral wealth, with the goal of forcibly undermining the country’s political independence. They will not succeed. After more than two hundred years of independence, the people and their legitimate government remain steadfast in defending sovereignty and the inalienable right to determine their own destiny,

The new government is combining the military, the militias and police forces and will crack down hard on pro-Gringo subversion. It will capitalize on nationalist sentiment.

How did the US succeed?

In the early hours of January 3 drones and missiles were launched against ports, air bases (La Carlota, Maracay), Fort Tiuna, and command nodes; a SEAD/DEAD-type tactic aimed at disabling radars and control centers. Sabotage cannot be ruled out either: the CIA has been very active in the country.

With damaged or interfered radars and communications under electronic warfare, many anti-aircraft batteries were “blind” or isolated, lacking situational awareness and orders for coordinated fire. Venezuelan fighter aircraft couldn’t find targets, in this case helicopters, coming in low and slow.

By using missiles and drones on a range of targets, civilian and military, the US created confusion under the cover of which they were able to abduct Maduro and his wife.

As I mentioned, the CIA has been active and well-funded, so of course they had operatives on the ground in place to help.

Now the US wants to replace the government with its own people,

One is Edmundo González recognized by the US and other vassal states like Canada as the legitimate President-elect of Venezuela following the 2024 vote take over. He is now regarded as a traitor.

Another is María Corina Machado who wants to sell Venezuela to American corporatocracy. She too is regarded as a traitor working for the Gringos.

The US worked hard to win support for the people. But it has managed to US has managed to unify anti-American sentiment against it regardless of ideologies .

If the US want to control Venezuela it must first occupy Caracas and then a full-scale insurgency of 1.5 million armed and angry people.

Oddly enough. Maduro had been attempting to negotiate with the Americans and was willing to compromise.

The new government couldn’t do that even if it wanted to. Nor does it need to. The Chinese will step in to back them up technologically and economically. .

I hope this sobers many people up to the reality that the US is still the biggest threat on planet earth, and that the battle between US hegemony and multipolarism is far from decided.

I warned that Russia, Iran, and China would not be able to assist Venezuela and that they themselves are struggling to secure their own nations from US aggression, sedition, economic warfare, proxy war and outright war.

Things will only continue to get worse until the multipolar world either forces the US to stop or folds.

Please notice that is not Trump that is the threat to us all — but the US.
