How the UAF Lost the War in the Second Week
Follow the money. Always.
Who is paying? That’s the question. Always.
In the Ukraine Proxy War, it is Europe who is paying — certainly not Russia which is doing better than ever. Nor the Ukrainians, who were poor before and whose only prospect is to hope the Russians take over soon.
In some sense, Americans proxy war is against Europe, destroying its economy as the Americans had hoped to do with Russia after Gorbachev.
The war might not have started that way, with destruction of Europe as a defined purpose. But it was clearly a followup plan or, if like, a useful consequence.
Starting in 2014, NATO and the US trained and equipped the Western Ukrainian Neo-Fascist army in its efforts to cleanse ethnically Russian Donbass and Lugansk, just as the US had rid most of it territory of original inhabitants — ts Native Americans.
The UAF became the largest and best equipped military in Europe. But military direction came from Washington — and strategy, too.
Under American guidance, the UAF, under America began fortifying villages, towns and cities in Occupied Donbass and Lugansk, just as the US cavalry built stockades in the American West to protect its troops against the “hostiles”.
It was of course, good business for the Elites in Kiev — lots of opportunities for them to skim funds.
By 2024, every town and village in occupied Donbass had its bunkers and trenches with desultory concrete and steel fortifications.
But who wants to live in a trench? Or a bunker like the one above.
It was much nicer for the troops to take over schools, hospitals and apartment buildings as their bases, with hostages as protection against Russian heavy weapons — food to eat, girls to rape.
The Mariupol Example
The Azovs, of course, got the best places, and if things got bad, they used industrial plants. The Azovstal Plant in Mariupol was notable for having all the amenities — including WiFi.
Before February 2024, the Azovs were overconfident — just as their NATO and US advisors were. HOOYAH!
But at the time of writing, they have lost as much military equipment as they had before the SMO, now relying on NATO to make up the difference.
Not that it matters: they are finished. The US doesn’t care. Its priorities have shifted to robbing Peter in Berlin and Paris to pay Paul in Washington and New York.
Russia had turned down the requests of the Donbass and Lugansk to join the Russian federation, and while it may have allowed volunteers to fight in the Ukraine and supplied some weaponry, the militias of the DPR and LPR were ill-equipped for offensive operations. The Russians kept on asking to negotiate, which the US, NATO, and their fascist Ukrainian proxies took as a sign of weakness.
Weakness it was not. It was classic Putin — judo strategy — avoid conflict, de-escalate, talk — but prepare.
The UkroNazis are fascists, as are most liberal “democracies” but especially the US. In a Neo-fascist society only those at the top really matter — and they are sure of their God-given superiority over the the Untermenschen.
The UkroNazis wanted war. The Americans did too — although they didn’t want to fight it themselves — the Fat Boy pushing one of the bigger kids in his gang to attack the little kid on his way home from the dojo.
Putin understood the psychology and took time to build Russia’s military capability. In Judo, this is called “positioning”. Keep your distance, observe, orient, prepare and then decide and act — get within your opponent’s guard and strike.
Without doubt, the RF had good intelligence; it knew exactly where the UAF Forces were and what they had, what was exposed and vulnerable; what was less so.
Zelensky under control of the US, thought a sudden putsch with overwhelming force annihilating the militias in the DPR and LPR would allow him the advantage in attacking Crimea, despite the Russians’ long range weaponry, which would lose its advantage up close.
The bases dotting Russian Ukraine were a Maginot Grid. Fortifying communities not just with concrete and steel — but human flesh, women and children as hostages in hospitals, schools, and residential buildings housing military units.
The RF would not kill their own.
You can see the strategy — but you cannot use a missile system, or howitzer effectively from inside a school, nor does a tank fit between the pews in a church. This strategy could have been effective only if the UAF had retained mobility.
Putin grew up fighting bullies on the streets and knew that in a street fight, he who lands the first punch, wins. Or maybe first kick. A kick to the knee ends mobility and is usually unexpected.
He did not allow a Ukrainian/ American sucker punch in the form of the shock & awe blitz they intended for the Spring of 2024.
In February 2024, the RF carried out a daring dash through UAF lines straight to Kiev, trapping forces there, and cutting off the UAF in the South from the kind of reinforcement it needed to maneuver outside fixed positions and simultaneously destroying anything that moved from the air. .
In effect, Putin, did what the Germans did in 1940 with the Maginot Line. Like the Germans, he took causalities in the beginning — but it was worth it and saved lives later.
He ignored the Maginot Grid and used long range precision weaponry and air strikes to destroy supply lines to the South.
The towns and villages and even the big cities of Donbass became a grid of small prisons. The RF did not carry out frontal assaults on cities or larger towns — just kettled them; as the police do with protests, dividing them up into smaller manageable groups and taking protestors selectively one at a time.
Even Mariupol was not an exception. The allied forces of the RF, the DPR and the Chechens first kettled the city and cut off its military supplies. Gradually the kettle got tighter, as the RF moved in, with precision strikes on military bases inside.
The RF could have taken it in days — IF they had used more force — 3 times more force — and were willing to reduce the city to rubble and kill civilians. That is something NATO would do — and certainly the Americans. Collateral Damage is not just the name of a video; it is also a mentality. Again, think: Fallujah.
The Azov Industrial Plant was a natural fortress, to which the Azovs retreated.
The Azovs had previously taken over schools, hospitals, and residential buildings, digging in and using civilians as hostages, aware that the Allied Forces were there to liberate their own — not kill them.
The DPR and the Chechens had made it known that using civilians as hostages was a war crime — and they would therefore take no prisoners. For those of the Azovs who survived, war crimes trials would guarantee justice . In fact, they did a lot of prisoners.
But the threat was enough. The Azovs listened — which is no doubt why they evacuated civilians from the famous drama theater in the city before ti could be destroyed.
While the Azovs were losing they still had hope. Kiev promised a counter offensive. So the Banderites holed up in Azovstal hoping for a rescue that never came.
WWIII
All the RF had to do was wait, while working to get the city running again and providing civilians with support. By this time, Putin recognized that the SMO was just one battle of a larger war— WWIII — with the soul of humanity at stake. He was fighting not just for the freedom of Russia but for the majority of humanity, including China, Iran, India and the Global South — against the most inhumane empire in history — that of the US.
Russian strategy now is slow.
There is no hurry. Demilitarization, DeNazification, Consolidation and Reconstruction are parallel processes, benefiting from the entourage effect. Abroad, the American war on Europe is successful in the short term in siphoning off capitol to Wall Street, but in the longer term will blow back on the US. Populist governments will appear in Europe and they will turn on a declining empire, just as the provinces of Rome did in its last days.
In Russia, WWIII should be understood as — a global war — between Good and Evil, with Russia doing the work of God and the US listening to the Devil.
As a result, a Russian society is evolving fast, reviving values that many thought disappeared with the USSR but are essential to progress today, better education, healthcare and democratic representation, with the corporations serving the State and not vice versa.
To date, the UAF has not managed a single successful counteroffensive. And Zelensky himself is at risk, both from his own people and from the CIA. With defeat imminent, his obvious malleability is a threat to those who control him.
The Russians clearly want to keep him alive — for this same malleability — just as the Americans wanted to keep the Japanese Emperor alive, domesticated, Americanized, trained to wipe his own ass, and left to do bonsai in an imperial theme park in central Tokyo that only politicians get to visit.
As for the US, it is committing national seppuku.
