Biden’s war on Russia is just a side show. The real show is the End of the Not-So United States of America.

Here in Japan, where I live, there are, or have been, many analogs.

One would be the Battle for Saipan and the famous “banzai” charge by Japanese troops to die in the service of the Emperor, with a loss of 4300 Japanese soldiers and 400 Americans.
Death with Honor?

The loss of Saipan prompted Tojo’s resignation in Japan, with one general saying, “we have lost the war”. Hirohito didn’t care: his only concern was to preserve his dynasty and he kept Tojo on so the Americans could hang him for imperial sins.

The Japanese military doubled down on suicide as a tactic. As a tactic, it was of no real military value. It’s only merit was propaganda.

Yet when mass suicide failed so spectacularly as in Saipan, the defeat was not reported in the Japanese press at all, which reported only cases of individual sacrifice for “honor”.

You can see the parallels with Western reporting on the “brave” Nazis dying for Western Ukraine aka Galicia in what is really an Ukrainian Civil War.

The larger economic war on Russia: ditto .

In this case, it is the Europeans slitting open their increasingly empty bellies.

Back home, American’s many Little Emperors — Bezo, Gates, Musk and their ilk — sip champagne and the average American still has junk food to enjoy. Their bellies are bloated.

The UAF had its Saipan moment years ago. The EU’s is in the works. And the US’s is coming soon.

Recent US sanctions on Russia and measures against China are just more of many” banzai” charges, which have proven ineffective in the past.

Poor healthcare, poverty, police violence, social alienation and random violence in a culture that glorifies violence, take their toll in the world’s largest ever Potemkin Village. Call the US of A the Disney village. Americans are dying. Lifespan is dropping.

But Americans are not dying for their country – they are dying for the Little Emperors, those guys in Epstein’s little black book.

Is Prosperity a facade? Is the US just another Hollywood set?

Who do you blame?

You naturally assume, fault lies with those much celebrated little Hirohitos I mentioned. But ultimately you must blame the People, and their cultural narcissism.

Why? Look down. No, not to your balls or vagina — to your waistline.

Americans are among the fattest people in the world — if not the fattest — which speaks to their reverence for the Seven Deadly Sins — especially Greed and Sloth and consumerist Gluttony. Consume, consume, consume. Stuff your stomach. Stuff your home. Stuff your Self.

With the Chinese and Russians rising— add Wrath at things not going the way CNN tells it, Pride based on fake success like, dunno, weapons makers’ stocks rising— and Envy at others just doing things a lot better—those nasty Ruskies and Chinese again. Underneath guilt creates self-hatred, which we externalize as hatred of “others”.

In the Japanese case, defeat had to be total and some cultural values had to be erased or revert to earlier iterations — not by substituting American values — but by sheer necessity.

Tokyo 1945. Start from Zero and you need to innovate.

“Depend upon it, sir, when a man knows he is to be hanged in a fortnight, it concentrates his mind wonderfully.” ― Samuel Johnson

Defeat came to Japan. It didn’t hang, like Tojo — but it concentrated its mind.

Similarly, defeat is coming for America as a “Union” in the form of a new Civil War, which will return to what it was in the beginning, a loose confederation of independent states.

Initially, the Republicans will retake Congress, aiming at the Presidency, with the Supreme Court in the bag. A massive recession, stagflation and destruction of the economy cannot be adverted, of course. The Republicans will fail like their brothers, the Democrats. They are the Idiot Twins. Everything you read in the press or view on TV will turn out to be false. States will secede.

You will not see a single new Confederacy — but several — each based on regional needs and necessity, rather than ideology, which after all you can’t eat.

Suddenly, people will have to start thinking for themselves. “All politics is local”. Because Local is where people really live.

You thought the Capitol Riot, that populist version of Spring Break carnavel, was an “insurrection”? HaHa.

Next year will be a Year of Insurrections. Many! Watch “America” burn.

Wow this article makes zero sense, just putting together snippets of Japanese history and assume that's going to happen in the US. Just cuz there's corporation, that doesn't make them chiefdoms. Americans are not loyal to corporations (unlike Japanese). There is no imperialism in US, Americans (US) do not have the same sense of feudalistic honor as Japan. We are gun-slinging trigger happy evangelistic, "my-way or the high-way" types. Just my long winded way to say the analogy does not correlate.

Probably so! The population is on the move. From Blue to Red States and visa versa. The coastal elites and the cities will starve first. Fly over country will survive. Lose alliances and compacts are already forming.
