Vladimir Putin cares about his country and its future.
Xi Jinping cares about China and its future. It’s personal for them—they are patriots. The one thing that defines both their careers is their commitment to service.
Donald Trump, like Joe Biden, care only about himself - his image. He serves? Only himself. I suppose in that respect, he is not different from any other President.
As far as policy, it will be whatever he thinks makes him look good in the short term. It’s not what he can do for his country- it’s what his country can do for him, as JFK did not say
In the meantime, the Ukraine War grinds on. Look at the casualty figures: the UAF is losing perhaps 15 men for every Russian soldier at this point. The Russians have destroyed the best of Ukraine’s army in the Kursk duck shoot and elsewhere. And now zelensky wants to draft this youngest. How long before they are raiding elementary schools?
Oh, they already are.
Trump’s rhetoric and Banderite terrorism have generated widespread public revulsion in Russian and among Russian political elites, which will make it very difficult for Putin to compromise. Click here for Southfront video.

Most of today was spent troubleshooting computer problems, with both my computers out of commission.. All done now— but I am short on sleep! I will write more tomorrow.

I agree that Trump is a shyster, but the red cult that think he was bright here as a messiah will accuse you of being in the blue cult for saying as much
"Trump is better than the alternative." True, but that is such a low bar, and we should have our sights set away above a Trump. Sadly, there is nobody decent that would want the job much less have a chance at getting it
