Trump is just shilling for his handlers. He will never stop America from confronting Russia, it's too much to ask of one president and he's not even sincere in his efforts and ll turn away if confronted too hard..

The best stack I read today covers US duplicity in destroying NS2 - going back to 2004. Wait, I thought it happened in 2022 and can be blamed on Ukraine? No, it was a long project with lots of tentacles that illustrate just how badly Americans hate Russia and Putin and why they'll keep trying to bring them down now that they detached Europe from Russia.

Thank you for your digging in and showing the results of your current position on Trump and Vance.

I agree it is mainly guessing or i would call it 'Sensing'. Nobody knows what goes on in their minds.

Time will teach us more.

So we wait and see.

Is WWIII about to begin.

The US doesn't want to start it so they are funding

and setting the scene for Europe to start it over a

hobbled together country like Ukraine. When Europe/

Russia have weakened themselves, then the US will

join to save Europe all fresh, rested and with new

weapons for the final kill and take over.

Same playbook as WWII.

What you say was most likely always the plan. But like all the other plans made by neocon think tanks concerning V. V. Putin & Russia. Not one of these people spouting & planning these schemes. Have any real knowledge of President Putin or Russia. It doesn't stop their arrogance, which shows in their plans. Their lack of awareness about the culture in Russia is another subject altogether. The lies & propaganda about the President of Russia, has been that consistent. It's been that regular, 99% of the people responsible for these fantasies .Have come to accept them as fact, what do you believe yourself about the man? You obviously don't know him at all by your comment. I'm not trying to insult you. But do you not have any idea how strong the Russian military is? I'll give you a cast iron fact that's completely ignored in all Western media. President Putin is a very high level lawyer. Everything he does on an international level, is done in accordance with international law. Do you know why it's called a Special Military Operation? It's actually unbelievable the Russian leadership haven't escalated the conflict to a Terrorist operation. Which is a much higher level of aggression than an SMO. Then there is the fact, that an SMO is far less intense than all out war. If it was all out War. Russia would incinerate Europe along with Ukraine. Along with any unlucky civilians caught up in a massive attack within 48 hours. Now ill explain about the fantasy of some American military adventure to come in & take the spoils. After 48 hours of attacks, the Russians wouldn't have broken sweat. How do you suppose America would transport the amount of men & equipment to fight the Russians? Do you believe the Russians would just sit & watch this happen? Those American soldiers unlucky enough to survive. Would need staggering amounts of supplies. How would that happen? Can you see what I mean by arrogance of these think tanks. Nobody is getting close to defeating the Russians without being incinerated. I hope you understand I'm not trying to disagree with you, I'm just letting you know the facts if the matter. No one is coming to take anything from a weakened Russia & anyone who believes that. Is completely delusional. There's actually a much better argument, that Russia could do that to America. More so than the other way around. But these think tanks have never been right or rational. Despite the amounts of money they receive.

I know very well Putin's history as well as Russian history. I am merely

stating what I think the West may do. 2 million troops on the ground

can make a difference which is how Russia won the last war. But now,

the shoe is on the other foot. Certainly the Russians have thought of this

as Putin knows history and have pre-pared for it just as they did the SMO.

I lived in Russia for awhile along the Black Sea and have many friends there

who tell me about the nightly attacks. I wouldn't trust Trump and his merry

men as far as I could throw them and I know the Russians don't either so

a peace initiative is off the table. But, economics, 5th columns, bankers

do exert pressure so we shall see. Whatever is going to happen is coming fast.

I am writing an long special article on Putin now, researching Russian sources, some of which require translation, and comparing them to Western accounts--which I find incredibly biased. Not just "biased" -- manipulated for propaganda purposes. However, this has been a consistent policy in Western countries since the 19th Century. Putin is demonized. But not just Putin, Russian culture as a whole.

That plan no longer works. Russia has the means to destroy utterly any aggressor (and, regrettably and unintentionally, the rest of humanity).

For much the same reasons why the US aircraft carriers are obsolete floating coffins.

It should be obvious to any thinking person today that war between the major powers is suicidal. Unfortunately our clever Western "democratic" political system unerringly selects unthinking persons to rule us.

Hey Julian

You have noted in recent articles here & comments elsewhere- how many of the "alt" media have become fawning Trump supporters & apologists.

This has disgusted me as they bury the fact the conflict destroying Ukraine and killing a million plus- is an American led proxy war against Russia.

And how they seem to be salivating at the prospect of America - Russia, Putin - Trump, becoming BFF's.

Recently, a couple of the guilty parties Alexander & Glenn Diesen with Max Blumental, were together and actually pointed out that Trumps words & actions are most likely to lead to an extremely isolated America.

The 3 great powers world that Trump imagines- is antithetical to Russia, China & BRICS.

Every week of Trump 2.0 give countries around the world, more reasons to establish stronger relations with Russia, China & BRICS.

They made the point that fence sitting Brazil of BRICS is now one of the most motivated about expanding & strengthening BRICS- and talks about a BRICS currency more than anyone- because they see & understand what Trump/America have planned for them.

American sphere of influence anyone? Brazil is like- hell no.

On a separate note-

Do you watch Shahid @ Middle Nation on YT? He has some great geopolitical analysis!

I think he used to live in America, but now lives in Malaysia.

Curious what part of Canada are you from?

I am from Saskatchewan. 60 yo, was living in Ukraine as an expat when the SMO started. Stuck around a few months, but I did not feel safe having wrong think there, so I left. I returned to Canada, got reoriented & about to leave again- for good.

Very hard to be in Canada. Everyone is a brainwashed sheeple.

I have to self isolate to avoid falling victim to the brainwashed retardation.

I enjoy your writing & comments in various places.

I haven't watched Shahid. Years ago, I set up a ME network for Japanese companies and I still have informed sources throughout the ME (and North Africa) . I just looked at Shahid, Very interesting, I am from Vancouver, BC and also the Yukon Territory. But I left Canada during the Vietnam War. Harvard, Fulbright PhD dropout. The problem in Canada , as you say, is brainwashing, First, education, Then, the media. Nothing changes as long as these two things do not change.,

Thanks for the reply Julian.

Shahid does make lots of good points.

Have you seen any reports about the Russian demands for ending the conflict they recently gave to the Americans?

Marat Kharulin- noted Russian war reporter- posted on his substack some details.

Russia has Trump/America by the balls, and they know it.

I don't see how Trump can ever agree to it.

He either has to drop Ukraine now and pull all Americans out, or double down. If he does not get out of Ukraine fast, his position is only going to get worse & worse.

Will be interesting to read your take on it in coming days.

"Old age hath yet his honour and his toil;

Death closes all: but something ere the end,

Some work of noble note, may yet be done..."

Eat plenty of protein to help the little chaps reproduce; walk and do other exercise to remind them of their duty; and avoid carbs to stimulate the flow of fatty acids for them to "burn" and turn into ketones that keep my brain turning over in spite of the constant loss of neurons.

To understand why we inflicted Trump on you, you would have had to suffer through the rotting of our society over many decades. The rot hurt everyone, but financially benefited many (Wall Street parasites).

The rot spread largely through illegal immigration. Wherever illegals thrived, we legals realized our government was our enemy. Then out of nowhere the clown Trump appeared and yelled the magic word "wall!".

Once he got our attention, he re-enacted the role of the hated rich guy in the movie Caddyshack. In that movie the hated rich guy joined a golf club and wore garish clothes, threw insults at the club members, and handed huge tips to the staff. So he was hated by all the smart people (golf club members, judges, politicians, etc) and loved by all the dumb people (waiters, gardeners, workers, etc).

I watched in disbelief as this movie became actual reality in 2016.

Trump survived the cancellation of that first episode. This 2nd episode is going to have a lot of action. And we dumb Americans are loving it.

Julian, are you my "lost twin uncle"? :D Let me introduce you to the soundtrack of my life: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ElhAysq3O6c :)

Joke aside, your "predicting superpowers" aren't the result of your contrarian worldviews, quite the opposite is true. And what the real superpower is all about is multiple-order logical deduction. https://botpenguin.com/glossary/logical-deduction

In other words, you're able to logically conclude (predict) not only what will be the immediate (first-order) effect or result of something, but also second and third order effects in a chain reaction of logical (probable, possible) events. That is what makes you such a great problem solver, too! :)

Though, in your case (just like in mine) it's not cold hard logic and facts that give the undertone of your analyses. You are an empath (introvert as well mayhaps? :) ), which also endows you with a deep understanding of how the human psyche operates AND a very reliable gut feeling.

I would say an INFJ according to Myers-Briggs? ;)

Gnothi Sauton

Expand full comment
Julian Macfarlane's avatar

Yes, INFJ (according to Myers Briggs). I am also an affective empath, as some on the autism spectrum are, meaning I feel others' feelings as my own, through dissociation from "executive function" (which I don't have much of). The problem with logical deduction is that it proceeds from premises and premises are normally regulated by executive function in the prefrontal cortex, I have a high degree of low latent inhibition, which means very little executive function, therefore "premises"must be created through immediate perception . This is also called "rhizomatic thinking" which is exploratory -- so the aim is to arrive at premises rather than prove them. Logical deduction for "normals" is linear. a, b,, c, d. People like me think a, b, c, x, y, 1, 2, pi, d, e,....congruently and divergently at the same time. It's confusing. And I spend a lot of time, just feeling confused and trying to work things out. But my disability also leads to autodidacticism and polymathy. Obsessive exploration!
