The Russians continue making progress one village at a time all along the contact line in the Donbass, while strengthening their position in the Kharkov region. Wack a mole, military style. In Russia there is much discussion as to what to do about Kharkov. s

Relentless attrition of Ukrainian personnel seems to be working according to plans. Coupled with the crippling of it's logistical capabilities, life on the frontline can only get worse for the Ukrainians. Add onto that the imminent change in the US Administration ...
Yes. The Duran states the same figure of losses for Ukraine- 28,000-30,000 per month. How long can this go on for? Seems like Ukraine won’t exist pretty soon because there won’t be much of a population left anyway. I’d take Option A if I got to vote.
Protests are rising, Mobilisation units are attacked. Pro-Russian Partisans have got the green light and soldiers try to escape from the Frontlines. The Situation becomes more unstable every day.
Do we know what Russian losses are for all the gains they are making in territory? If the numbers don't work -out they might have to take the risk of going "big-arrow". Or negotiate prematurely, who knows? It's still Russia's war to lose since the collective West doesn't give a crap about Ukrainian lives and is going to be pumping more and more sophisticated drones out all the time. F-16s might help with the terror attacks inside Russia too, it could get very ugly still.
G'day Kiko, here is an article that may interest you, from Syrsky head of Ukr military giviing troop numbers for the SMO. Note Russian numbers increasing but as usual no Ukr numbers for obvious reason to hide the colossal losses. This is a good indicator they cannot be losing many as they declare a month enlistment of approx 30000.
Your comment re F16, have you given any thought to how they would be beneficial to ukr, Simplicious the thinker has covered this extensively. They are pedantic prima Donna aircraft's, they required a vaacuum runway before take-off and their airframe are at the end of the lifespan and the service maintenance to flying time is prohibitive. Likewise they are nigh on 40 years old and would be no match for Russia's modern planes. Also where is the airfield they could operate from as all fields in Ukraine's are repeatedly hit.
Don't rely on the Empires propaganda as really the F16s will actually be a liability if they even actually fly in the SMO.
In Vietnam, North Vietnam survived 1.1 million dead and 600,000 wounded from a population of 16 million in 1960. That is a 10% total casualty rate. A similar figure for Ukraine would be 2.8 million; so yes it can get way worse…
Russia is focused on attrition of men and material rather than territory. The USA strategy is to cause enough pain inside Russia to make them sue for peace. The West can provide unending armaments, as can Russia. The biggest vulnerability for Ukraine is men. If there are 28 million UKR citizens, a 5% loss killed and wounded would imply 1.4 million casualties. If Ukraine has 700,000 casualties in two years, it seems they could continue for another two years. BTW, many other nations in the 20th century survived a 10% casualty rate in modern war…
We know this fast paced slaughter of Ukrainian men & now women (some pregnant) on the battlefield needs to stop. Like all wars prior, the major countries post-War 1918 & 1945 meant a decline in the population and the search for more people to join the work force. Ukraine’s demographics will change exponentially. That was the plan all along in this new 2030 Agenda for the Great Reset.
Kiko read more than the MSM, you are sounding like them. Substack has numerous writers covering this plus Russian bloggers also using translate. Ukraine has full to overflowing cemeteries, where are Russia's burials? There are memorials going up with only a few names, do you think they would leave some of the dead off the memorials. There would be local uproar if their loved ones were not named.
These are just a few examples of how the 1 to 10 is considered as reality.
Well maybe someone can link me the data instead of expecting me to just take it on faith. Personally I think it's probably more like 1-4 in Russia's favor since they have far superior medical transport, but hard to know.
You obviously have taken something on faith(sic), hence your assumption of 1-4, how did you come to that conclusion, what source or sorces did you use to make that assumption yet you don't take the advice of looking into Simplicious the Thinker on sub stack also. There is no data by the way, this is a war and the first casualty is truth as seen in the West particularly after the commencement of the SMO. Being spoon-fed anything does not make you aware of the true situation especially if the provider is the Evil Empire or it's quislings all throughout the western world.
It's just my opinion based on various sources including Simplicius. The ratio may be more imbalanced now considering the Russians have improved in almost all areas over time. I do think people tend to be overly-optimistic given the difficulty protecting from drone attacks and other asymmetrical methods the Unrainians are quite good at, even as they dispose of their men with insane recklessness. Also most estimates I've seen on substack and telegram don't include irregulars such as the Donbass troops who can't be tracked by public sources such as obits.
Love this sums it up exactly

Probably meaning 99 percent of people lol
Great note. How true!
The poop is starting to hit the fan.

You think President Kamala will be softer on Russia?
Russian MOD often shows close to 2000 UKR KIA per day; that would be closer to 60,000 dead per month…
Yes. The Duran states the same figure of losses for Ukraine- 28,000-30,000 per month. How long can this go on for? Seems like Ukraine won’t exist pretty soon because there won’t be much of a population left anyway. I’d take Option A if I got to vote.
2k total casualties afaik, not purely kia. But it's not like crippled survivors are beneficial in any social or economic way.
Thank you.
Maybe a light at the end of Ukraine's Tunnel ?

I dunno if we necessarily can assume why they hide their losses, it's standard practice to deny the enemy information for many reasons.
Wow all that data you were looking for and you make no comment except to proffer support to the Empires methods of propaganda.

Simplicious the Thinker is very good on the details of the SMO.

I don't think they have the fervor of the Communists.

Tolerable, hence the slow approach. Think of 1:6 ratio in favor of Russians.
How do we know this? And if 1:6 is correct, how long will that rate of loss be tolerable?
