Beautiful, Julian. Scott Ritter wrote a magnificent tribute as well. So did Larry Johnson but Scott Ritter was awesome! Scott included Yahya Sinwar's biography and details of his magnificent martyrdom.
Currently I am not buying coffee or subscriptions because I'm sending all I can spare to Najam Institute. They serve the Palestinian and Lebanese people in such dire straits. I'm not tooting my horn but urging everyone else to do the same.
I have written about Sinwar before and his role in Hamas.
Sinwar said he wanted to die in battle. He refused to hang back these last few weeks and fought with his comrades. I think he did not want to ask others to die for him. And he accepted martrydom. In death, he becomes much more than he was in life - although in life, he was a lot. I see in him a kind of courage and nobility. He is on his way to legend.
I guess it depends on the card. I am not sure of the difference between debit and credit cards. Buymeacoffee.com uses Stripe which accepts most credit cards. Debit cards?
I have to comment again. Your grasp of history and the irony of the present is brilliant! The Quran is to me the best description of Jesus and his beloved mother Mary. Jesus is certainly considered Muslim by the Quran and so are all the Old Testament prophets.
There is a strange silence about it, imposed by military censorship even on Western MSM, which is spinning Zionist propaganda. I believe that Netanyahu has been injured or even killed, but I will post another article on this topic between today and tomorrow.
Yahya Sinwar was a great warrior but more than that he was a great man. Capable of vision for the future,,intelligent of thought
.Able to reason and realize that if he did nothing their would never be a Palastine State.
Above all he was a man of peace who only wanted his children and people to dwell in their homeland which has been stolen by avarice and greed . In the intitial Hamas attack only IDF members were attacked and killed.
The civilians that were taken hostage were by palastinians in the camps.
He was a man who had kindness, devotion and wisdom in his heart - and especially compassion.
I think he knew his time was up.
Now he was counted and weighed and was NOT found to be too light.
His possessions will NOT be dispersed - i.e. his essence will continue.
When I read about the murder of Yahya Sinwar, I knew that the Zionists' war is now lost - even if it will take a while - even if it will get much worse.
Because what even the simplest person can see in his eyes (Yahya Sinwar) – no army can defeat.
The Zionists also seem to understand this on some level. Otherwise there would be no pictures of:
“Cowardly Yahya Sinwar in the tunnel hideout with plasma television surrounded by Israeli hostages”
This also explains the attack on Netanyahu's house. Finally, it allowed the Zionists to claim:
Look everyone, we are not the butchers - Hamas etc. are the terrorists who wanted to kill a democratic good statesman...
It's just unfortunate that the rocket from Lebanon was launched from a piece of land that is currently controlled by the Israeli military.
I wonder why they murdered Yahya Sinwar now...
With Nasrallah, however, I understand it. He was ultimately ready to back down from his position and agree to a ceasefire, which is also why the Iranians were with him.
Therefore immediately US bunker busters on 6 high-rise buildings, masses of deaths and the acceptance of bad press by the Zionists.
Nasrallah had to be wiped out immediately before he could announce his decision to a large public.
We’re all Yahya Sinwar!
Thank you julian.

I agree wholeheartedly and believe it's true of all martyrs.
I tried to buy you a coffee but it said my debit card does not support this kind of transaction,
Great poem

It is pretty standard interpretation. In the same way, my Muslim friends in the ME and elsewhere consider me a Muslim.
It's honorific and honor is paramount in Islam.
👍✨🙏
Nice poem.
Have you heard about Hezbollah's drone attack on Netanyahu's residence in Caesarea this morning?
I reported about it in my latest article: https://geopolitiq.substack.com/p/has-hezbollah-just-tried-to-kill
There is a strange silence about it, imposed by military censorship even on Western MSM, which is spinning Zionist propaganda. I believe that Netanyahu has been injured or even killed, but I will post another article on this topic between today and tomorrow.
I heard about the attack. The "Yahu" is still alive -- unfortunately. I think of lots of others who need a few drones, though.

Sinwar realized that sometimes you have to fight for peace.
The Palestinians sure acted just like Jesus would on Oct 7.
?
Najam Institute is only one of many. Take your pick. It's the deed that matters, not the thought.
Oh, yes, you are a poet. Excellent.
My Zen teacher used to say everyone is a poet.
Thanks for the Poem !

Of course I didn't know Yahya Sinwar.

So right is your poem. Glad you didn't do the antiquated intellectual route.
well done.
Great poem!
You remind me that poetry is a consolation in the face of horror.
