Israel is desperate to start a war in the Middle East first with Hezbollah, then Iran— counting on US support – which has been de facto promised by the Biden administration. Naturally, they would prefer Kamala Harris to become president.
From the Zionist point of view, Trump is just too flakey. And look at his team - Musk, RFK, Vance….
Plus - he’s running as the guy who will prevent WWIII.
Of course, he says he is a better friend to Israel than Harris…..
But he says a lot of things.
Who can protect Israel better?
The democratic neocons support military action against Hezbollah and its allies, allowing Israel to continue expansionism and genocide, not just in occupied Palestine but now in southern Lebanon as well. Israel uber alles!
That means war.
The trouble with this is that such a war might be the first American war against a peer or near-peer level adversary since WWII — if Iran that decides to support Hezbollah after the BRICS Summit as “retaliation” —or simply on principle.
The US might find itself on the losing side and Israel might cease to exist.
There are economic issues too. Getting into a war will drive more countries to BRICS, dumping the dollar.
Trump is a wildcard.
However, he doesn't like wars and is very proud of not having gotten the US involved in one. He doesn't really care about ideology. Or morality. He is a businessman— and he looks at profit and loss. For him it’s all about money— and ego.
From his point of view, wars cost a lot and don't benefit the kind of businesses he, Trump, would want to invest in if he had his druthers!
So he might “protect” Israel by forcing it to accept a cease-fire— and putting everything, especially war, on hold. That would probably end Netanyahu. Israel would still have trouble rebuilding — but the US would avoid possible humiliation.
I'm not sure where Trump is getting his advice. With Trump it is always who has had his ear last.
But his views seems closer to realpolitik than the supremacist ideology of the neocons and the Democrats .
Right now the polls are 50-50.
Up-down a little every day. But it could go either way with a geopolitical hiccup.
Israel, having committed one of the worst crimes against humanity in modern history— worst—not in terms of the number killed, but in simple indiscriminate cruelty and ugliness— has gone on to terror bombing of Lebanon.
Lebanon has been responding defensively with targeted missile strikes targeting Israeli military assets.
Hezbollah has the moral advantage, which has not gone unnoticed in Asia and the Global South.
A week ago, the UN General Assembly overwhelmingly passed a resolution demanding an end to the Palestine occupation.
But the Israelis continue to escalate. As usual, it’s fuck the UN
The timing, however, is against them.
The BRICS summit is October 22 ~24.
The US Presidential Election is November 5
Suppose Hezbollah starts escalating the scale of its responses= gradually— right up to the BRICS Summit.
As things heat up, the US will start repositioning military assets in the Red Sea in the Mediterranean …and wait.
Iran will not want to launch its long waited- for retaliatory strike against Israel until after the summit is over —two weeks before the election.
A Biden-Harris War could well swing just enough voters to Trump, now the anti-war President. who has already promised to avert WWIII!
On the other hand, Harris is prettier than Trump. Looks always count — in the uglu world of politics. .
Joy and hope, right?
Escalating the Special Article.
More progress on the Special Article Part 3. One of my commenters thinks the US has borderline personality disorder.
Here’s one definition:
People with borderline personality disorder may experience intense mood swings and feel uncertainty about how they see themselves. Their feelings for others can change quickly, and swing from extreme closeness to extreme dislike. These changing feelings can lead to unstable relationships and emotional pain.
There is more than one definition, and the symptoms vary.
What do you think?
Getting towards the end of the month. Buy us (Ichi, Chappy, Me) a coffee and get on the mailing list for this new special article, which I think is relevant to the 2024 Election.
Trump clearly did not write this, someone with understanding has his ear :

Trump said to “finish the problem” and it was interpreted as bombing Gaza to a faster pace but it may be he something else. Why is Bibi so nervous?
