<<That is why Russian will not destroy the UAF’s command centers.

Excellent Julian! Your three critical takeaways above. The Russians play chess...the West plays 'stupid' games.

In keeping with their failing rhetoric, the future Nuremberg should be far more inclusive than the first. Too many guilty parties were spared and shamelessly recycled after the first one.

America needs one, too, for its war criminals.

USA NEVER looks to the future:

I will be dead by the time this whole conflagration comes to pass BUT I have Grandkids who will either die or be forced into uneccessary wars because the US wants to RULE everybody.

My prediction is that: eventually the US will die (like most Empires) and the country will implode.

My prediction also.

Then split into a bunch of smaller states

The American military to me seems to be a jobs bank as JD Vance implied in his novel not a true military

Thank you... Very impressive build-up.

My sensing told me some time ago, after Trump's election victory had become unavoidable, that it was highly likely that this desperate offensive in the North would come, possibly including hidden or open Polish and French troops.

-

Of Course Putin would have sensed that before i did.

So now will come his carefully planned response. In case of overwhelming US/NATO air- and Naval-Power, AS400 (and AS500), Bastion coastal defenses, Oreshnik or even Tactical Nukes are ready for that.

My estimate is 77.5% that there will be a massive army ready in the North, especially for this event. Another estimate is, 62.5% that Koreans will play a significant role in that.

There was a final try-out in Kursk, to test the communications with the Koreans and the support by the Russians with Drones, Artillery, Missiles and maybe tanks too.

I am not a military, so i cannot properly estimate what could be the best role for them, or if there is any role. Cleaning woods, conquered villages and attacking some types of fortified positions maybe. Holding lines behind the front, to prevent breakthroughs with machine guns and anti-tank missiles maybe too.

-

There is a possibility (i cannot properly sense Tommie-madness, so i believe Alexander in this) that the NAZI'S will try to cross the empty water reservoir north of the ZNPP, but that part (South) of the Front is meant to be ready for the offensive towards Kherson (and Odessa), so the NAZI'S and Tommies will certainly walk into a trap there.

-

The Donbass Front is collapsing at an increasing pace, and a Russian Offensive in the South is expected (as i do too) when it becomes clear that the Donbass Collapse cannot be stopped any more.

Just about 4-5 weeks to go... We will see how it turns out.

New... From: Simplicius the Thinker. Dec 22. SITREP 21-12-24: Highly Recommended.

My Tweet->https://x.com/OccupySchagen/status/1870698534225219690

Short:

Things Heat Up in 🇺🇦/🇷🇺Kherson,

...

Has the Expected Russian Offensive to

the SOUTH-WEST been started ?

Towards 🇺🇦/🇷🇺Odessa ?

.

After a period of strange rumors that Russian forces may attempt to storm the Dnieper, last night Russian forces began a massive artillery and MLRS bombardment of the Kherson region with claimed attempts of isolated groups to cross to the other side.

Details are scarce, and no one quite yet knows if this is all a part of some psyop campaign to throw the AFU off, or a real concerted beginning toward a major operation.

Here’s what some of the reports are saying:

For several days now, heavy processing of APU facilities in Kherson has been underway.

Strikes occur both at night and during the day.

The enemy expects our offensive in this sector and claims that the Russian forces are grouped up to 120 thousand people on the left bank.

Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Vladislav Seleznev believes that the Russian army will create several bridgeheads on the right bank of the Dnieper. At the same time, according to him, an offensive operation will take place in Zaporozhye.

According to him, the first wave will also include up to 2,000 troops and 300 boats.

They report Russian forces stormed the Antonovsky Bridge area and captured or consolidated the dachas around it:

Sander... I'll keep you informed.

A slight correction here... The Japanese would have not offered much resistance to an American invasion of Japan. As a senior general of the Japanese Southern Forces recounted at the time, the Japanese Army was already starving as a result of the US naval blockade. In fact, this was the reason that Truman's own Pacific War Survey, which was produced around 1946 or 1947, clearly stated that the dropping of the atomic weapons on Japan were completely unnecessary as result of the continued effectiveness of the US blockade of the Japanese nation. It was estimated that the Japanese had around only 4 months left before they would have been forced into submission in any event...

Expand full comment

They would not have offered successful resistance. But they would resist as they did in Okinawa. My point is that would have tried to resist -- futile as that might be -- whereas the Ukrainians would not-- are not.

Expand full comment

Julian... I believe you are wrong on that point. As this excerpt from the US Pacific War Survey describes, the Japanese were in no position to field an effective resistance from a US invasion of the Japanese nation...

>>>

We underestimated the ability of our air attack on Japan's home islands, coupled as it was with blockade and previous military defeats, to achieve unconditional surrender without invasion. By July 1945, the weight of our air attack had as yet reached only

a fraction of its planned proportion, Japan's industrial potential had been fatally reduced, her civilian population had lost its confidence in victory and was approaching the limit of its endurance, and her leaders, convinced of the inevitability of defeat, were preparing to accept surrender. The only remaining problem was the timing and terms of that surrender.

<<<

In addition, the strategies of both the United States and the Japanese were highly flawed and bordered on complete stupidity. There was no chance that Japan would have invaded the US even if they were to maintain the islands as they didn't have the long distance logistics required.

The US strategy of island hopping was just as foolish as it cost American lives simply to accomplish aerial bombing operations, which though effective, were not nearly as effective as the US naval blockade.

The defeat of Japan by the US was an unnecessary engagement since it prevented nothing that the Japanese could have accomplished.

As one analyst put it, the US won in the Pacific simply because its strategy was less stupid than the Japanese one...

I think I probably was not clear enough when I wrote the piece. My point was not about EFFECTIVE resistance but about the mentality of resistance, -- that is the psychology of a population. The Japanese public were conditioned to think differently about war and death from the Ukrainians. I talked to a former kamikaze pilot, who never had a chance to go. "Why did you volunteer" I said. "The war was lost", he said. "I knew it wouldn't make any difference -- but I had to do it as a man." And he added, "I was so glad when the Emperor surrendered". Strategically speaking, however, all your points are well-taken. My bad for not going into this in detail-- but it would have made for a much longer article. Thanks for your comments which add considerable depth to my somewhat shallow take on thisngs.

Well put, Julian. What do you make of the new Western propaganda waves insisting Russia is stagflating etc despite what we can see e.g. on BNE Intellinews ?

Expand full comment

The "West" cannot accept economic approaches different to their own --it is just too threatening--since Western "financialization" --is inherently artificial and in the long term destructive. "Stagflation" means high inflation, low economic growth and high unemployment. Russia has moderately high inflation but very high economic growth and low unemployment. In fact, the US economy is already "stagflated". Real world economic growth is low and unemployment is actually higher than government figures suggest. Inflation means higher prices - which economically operates to impose higher economic costs and burdens on ordinary people, which is seen in low savings and high debt. Russian banks pay 20% interest!
