I must be doing something right. First, I was “cancelled” by some companies in Japan, as (I guess) a dangerous dissident. Now, Facebook has stopped letting me post my substack articles because they violate “community standards”. Clearly, I am doing God’s work. I definitely have no respect for authority.
Doctorow and Alt Media Authority

I don’t have respect for Alt Media “authority” either.
As mentioned previously, Gilbert Doctorow upset the Alt Media community by suggesting that the Israel is as much a proxy for the US as Ukraine.
Larry Johnson was particularly ungracious, if not disrespectful of Doctorow who is a first rate analyst with a long history of accurate geopolitical diagnoses. I think that Johnson was later embarrassed but he has not directly apologized. That saddens me.
I wrote previously that the Alt Media has its own version of “mainstream” orthodoxy.
I called it (I think) “MSAM” —MainStream Alt Media. Maybe I should revise that.
How about just “MSA” — MainStream Alt?
Both the MSM and MSA appeal to large audiences — who are happiest “going with the flow” and don’t really want to think too much.
As the Judge points out here in this video, no one “debates” anymore.
Debates are civilized arguments— they require opposing or contrary points of view and respect. Each side should really listen to the other.
Differences in round table “discussions” of the kind increasingly common on podcasts tend to focus on minor details—with everyone agreeing on the main points — they are inherently conformist. Rah, rah, rah. Bah, bah, bah.
Truth in both cases is irrelevant.
Doctorow’s controversial notion of US intentionality in the ME, using Israel as a proxy, is being supported by my more and more people, from Michael Hudson to B. at Moon of Alabama. It will eventually become the “main stream” .
My only caveat is that Doctorow’s thesis implicitly suggests that :
US foreign policy is consistent.
That the Government speaks with one voice.
The US Government is a hydra. But each head is different, with a different brain— and therefore a different set of purposes and goals. So, of course, it cannot be consistent, or speak unambiguously.
The NeoCons want world domination. Biden and Harris want to electoral domination. The military want budgetary domination so those at the top can get cushy jobs in the MIC after retirement. Everybody wants to be number one.

Keep in mind that a “proxy’ conflict doesn’t have existential consequences for the US, as long as the US doesn’t get directly involved.
I know, I know… my theories are “messy, — too many shades of grey — to many “buts” and “howevers’. I do not have a “mainstream” mind. It is one of the gifts of cognitive difference. “Mainstream minds” of any political persuasion like black and white. They like Simple.
Certainly the Truth can be simple. Or not. Mostly not — in geopolitics.
