No satire. Stating that the theory of evolution is de facto at the beginning of your post stopped me from reading the rest of it, that's all. I'm not a Christian creationist or anything, just know from many years of my own research and thinking that the theory of evolution is beyond laughable. Belief in our creation from little fish jumping out of water on to land into humans is clearly impossible. Just saying!

"liberal" or "leftist" mean nothing in the US. There are NO real economic "leftists" in the US. The US is a disabled eagle flopping around with two right wings. "Woke" and "DEI" or whatever are NOT leftist.

Thank you. I'd say there are no "leftists" at all, not just economic, in the US. DEI is a textbook example of a right-wing, "imperial" concession meant to appease the plebs without changing anything. Does not solve the problem, it exacerbates it.

(John Michael Greer wrote an outstanding series of articles on what he calls "lenocracy", rule by the pimps; DEI is one of the tools used to infiltrate new pimps in any organization)

This economic system is slowly collapsing and the morons managing it don’t know what to do or are way too selfish to do what needs to be done. I’m old but I hope I see it dissolve. Quite frankly, it sucks ass.

Chimpanzees are not monkeys.

It is not clear that you know this.

Did I say they are monkeys? No, I said human beings are monkeys....LOL. I was playing with the Creationist trope about evolutionists thinking human beings evolved from monkeys, instead of (as everyone knows) slime mold.

Yea... BREAD AND CIRCUSES...

Very, very much Circuses. . . and bread very much for the clowns and the Circus-owners and less and less for the masses...

Almost nothing for those who are colonised - except for the Clowns that run those Colonies.

That's life in The Empire, for ages now.

The 'American Empire' ? When you remove the patch over the label it says: 'Made in The City of London'... When you remove that old, old patch, it says: 'Roman Empire'. . .

Nothing New Under The Sun...

Let us PRAY... Pray for BRICS to Liberate us from the Evil:

-

Give us this day our daily bread,

and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

But lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from THE EVIL EMPIRE.

Personally I don't feed the animals, it encourages them. But on rare occasions, when I'm in the mood, I do vote. Why? Politicians are like diapers, full of shit and in need of a frequent change. So sometimes when the stench becomes unbearable, I do my bit, hold my nose, and try to vote out the stinking diaper, for on that might be a little less stink.

Julian - Thanks for the perfect setup.....

"A man should know his limitations!" - Dirty Harry.

Sooner or later, we all run into ours - whether we're aware or not - and that applies to evolution, physica, philosophy, math or any other ism you can name, because the fundamental facts upon which reality depends are either real or not. How so?

Every word has a presuppositional meaning based on our past experience - 'theology' is a good example - and therefore I have purposely begun a campaign of avoiding religiosity and pursuing REALITY - after all - is God real or just a figment of our imagination? Religious arguments tend to be like political arguments - ending in pissing contests - useless!

The fundamental problem is IGNORANCE - especially WILLFUL - https://crushlimbraw.blogspot.com/2025/08/seeking-reality-while-navigating-sea-of.html?m=0 - most folks simply stop challenging their own presumptuous presuppositions at some point - ASSuming that what they know now is DaTruth (REALITY)......they couldn't be more wrong......"We all see through DaGlass DARKLY!".....as Paul wrote.

Discovering REALITY is a process .....never an end state for us with limitations! Those who ASSume to be without limitations also ASSume to be gods of their own choosing.......and the rest is history of mankind. And DaBeat goes on.......especially that yadadadadaaaa part!:)

Empathy is very like mimicry so what’s going on in hell then, is this the original sin ?

Am descended from a banana with 50% of my DNA for a solid connection to monkey world.

What’s a circus.

I do not agree. Empathy is the feeling that you are more than an ego, that you are part of a group that is called humanity.

When you look inside, you will find your Ego to be a narrative, that is created by language and not something that has feelings of its own. It has ideas about that, but those are stolen or induced from others and are mostly NOT TRUE.

Just saying.

To mimic is the highest form of flattery say some.

It’s not without feeling.

Who you mimic says about who you are as well.

You are right about mimic to be part of Empathy. Thank you.

But much of my experience of mimicking are attempts to behave as all others do, not to be seen as an outsider. It is part of Autistic masking, that we do not have the same programming in social grammar. And for me it was not mimic of a certain person but masking as a part of the group.

->https://www.autism.org.uk/advice-and-guidance/topics/behaviour/masking

Later i expanded masking to fool social opponents in their attempts to tackle me. As Trump does. But he is NOT Autistic he does not Hide, he stands on a hilltop and screams look at Me !!

Masks are used as a cultural art of perception in Japanese theatre and in BC’s ( Before Columbus?) indigenous people that is revered around the world.

To recognize one is an actor upon life’s stage makes us so human and is to be celebrated as a gift.

Frighteningly narrowed minds out there are the fooled ones.

One can mimic without having to think and become lost as to who you are I’ve found.

To mimic as an outsider is creative and shows your thinking .

I enjoyed a dancer mimic a Turkey walk which was so beautiful .

You lost me with 'humans evolved from monkeys.' I'm more of a monkeys evolved from humans type, makes just as much sense as your type.
