Aleks and Piquet at Black Mountain Analysis are among my favorite writers – and I hope you will read them as I do and support them.
They do not post quite as frequently as I do— but when they do they are well worthwhile reading.
So today they posted a new article that covers the Russian Federation's foray into Kharkov as well as the assassination attempt on Fico and the issue of Zionist anti-semitism.
I have covered most of the points which they make in various articles— but this article puts it all together very succinctly in an easy to read, easy to understand form which I can only envy! “I am not worthy….I am not worthy!”
Great analysis, BMA!
Well done indeed! For the article, click here!
With reference to Kharkov, there are a couple of important things to remember. While the nodes and what I call the Maginot Grid are usually fortified towns or villages with strategic position, established. and reinforced over a 10-year period, no such fortifications or defensive preparations were made in Kharkov.
So, the initial spearhead the Russian attack was probably just one or two brigades. Total number of Russian troops is small. They are ignoring large cities but establishing positions in the north new Sumy and in the south towards Kupiansk. They have reserves of about 100,000 to 150,000 across the border, if they really need them – which, at this point, they do not.
The Russians will not attempt to take any large cities such as Kharkov or Dnipro.
Or Kiev.
But their positions in Kharkov force the Ukrainians to bring reserves from the South and West, weakening them there.
Since Ukrainian forces along the combat line in Donbass are pretty much stuck in places like Chasov Yar and gradually reduced, Western Ukraine will be at Russia's mercy once the Maginot Grid finally collapses. Odessa, Mykolaiv, and in other occupied areas in the South will be cut off from supply and will likely surrender.
An issue not usually paid attention to is the fact that this is the Civil War. While the Banderites did have a decade to brainwash Ukrainians, people in eastern Ukraine where the Russians are now in Kharkov are basically Russian, as our people in the South.
So, in Kharkov, the Ukrainians have been trying to persuade the locals to evacuate. The locals are not having it. They prefer the Russians!
Ichi
I mentioned Ichi’s vet bills yesterday. Ichi has been losing weight — and I noticed an abscess on his lower lip. It got him antibiotic shots — which didn’t work. So, took him in again for a biopsy. No information yet. But it bothers him clearly and he clings to me for reassurance.
I love Ichi. To be truly human, we must first be a good animal. So it is that animals, often as not, help us realize our own humanity.
Here on Substack I have made a lot of friends who help me do that too. Thank you all.
If you want to support me and Ichi, please buy us coffee. Click here. Or on the photo.
You ARE worthy, Julian :)))
Thank you, so much!!!
I appreciate your support and your blog!
That's why I regulary recommend it.
‘Animals help us realise our humanity’ - beautifully put - so, so true. They have been one of the best teachers and therefore one of the greatest treasures of my life. I am beyond grateful for their love. I hope Itchi recovers ok. Sending prayers and good vibes.
