"So, Elon Musk is a trillionaire. How did he get that rich? Some people mischaracterize him as an inventor. He’s not . His genius is marketing and influence and PR".
Just like Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Larry Ellison, and so many others.
Our man Elon has a physics degree and a degree in ECONOMICS. THE LATTER IS PAYING OFF IN SPADES..
His Starlink subsidiary is a moneymaker, at least in part, because the Intelligence Community relies on it to do those spying things the IC relies upon to keep pace with Russia , China and Iran.
And his DOGE bit gave him access to all sorts of info at Treasury and the IRS.
Old Elon, when he’s not procreating willy-nilly, keeps himself essential to the Deep State and informed on other matters. It’s more than a wee bit of CYA (cover your ass), it’s staying ahead of the competition.
A good summary of Elon Musk and his plans, Julian.
Since i knew him to be Autistic, like others among the Billionaires, i wondered where he went wrong in his life. I think i found it. I have made some deep choices in my life, without realising they were in essence radical. I remember them all. My choice has always been with those that spoke my language and not with those who spoke the Power language. I never tried to be a leader, i was one with those who knew the details. Let's call them engineers, not leaders.
Currently i am doing the same on the Geopolitics and Imperial Strategy Theatres.
About the Mars attempt. This is, as you noticed and explained seriously, a LOUSY job.
When i compare it with the plans that leaked from the Chinese 'Moon plan', that is developing quickly in the obscure, misty reality, at the BACK of the Moon....
Elon's mission is to CARRY EARTH TOWARDS MARS.
The Chinese plan is, to create a liveable space for Humans and their machines, on the Moon, USING MATERIAL FROM THE MOON, so first they create a Moon-oriented digging for building material and create machines to do that. Finding water in the coldest parts of the moon first, then create building materials and dig for places where Iron and other usable MOON-materials can be found.
So first building a Moon-based Production environment and then develop it.
The essential energy will be brought there first: Molten Salt Thorium reactors, low maintenance long lives.
I like those plans much more than the inflated stories from Elon, which as you showed us, are built on dreams, not on facts. As is the essence of the Empire's main plans. Dreams to catch you and to bind you in labour. Much Labour, Slave-labour.
I am not sure that Musk is autistic, as Bransom is, although Bransom doesn't claim to be!. I think he just claims to have ADHD. He claims a lot of things. Neither the moon nor Mars can support human beings for extended periods.
Lack of Medical Verification
Musk has never explicitly confirmed whether he received a formal medical diagnosis from a doctor, or if he is self-diagnosed. Because he revealed it in a comedic setting—during an opening monologue on Saturday Night Live—some critics questioned whether he was using the term loosely rather than referencing a medical reality.
The Timing and Context
Skeptics noted that his disclosure came at a time when he was facing intense public scrutiny over controversial tweets, labor practices, and his massive wealth. “The disclosure led to public criticism and questions about his wealth and privilege,” noted Autism Ontario. Some critics accused him of leveraging neurodiversity as a convenient excuse or shield to deflect blame for eccentric, reckless, or offensive social behavior.
Outdated Terminology
The neurodiversity community criticized Musk’s specific choice to use the word "Asperger's" instead of "Autism Spectrum Disorder" (ASD). The term Asperger's was officially removed from clinical manuals like the DSM-5 back in 2013. Some advocates felt his insistence on using the older term was an attempt to distance himself from the broader autism community and align with an elitist "genius/supremacist" trope historically associated with Asperger's.
Fact-Checking His SNL Claim
During the monologue, Musk claimed to be “the first person with Asperger's to host SNL.” as reported by the BBC. This was immediately debunked by the public and former cast members. Comedian Dan Aykroyd, who has been highly vocal about his own Asperger's diagnosis, hosted the show decades prior in 2003. This factual error caused some viewers to doubt how deeply Musk understood or researched the condition before claiming.
A lot of the skepticism comes from the autistic community.
What a colossal waste of money and materials and probably eventually lives. Musk's genius is that he is a con man many of the wealthy haven't cottoned to yet because they are all so greedy, oh and I forgot Trump - stupid. Although I believe they have fallen out over something.
You know, broken eggs … omelette. SpaceX has done remarkable things decades faster than anybody else. Every RUD (Rapid Unplanned Disassembly) is a learning opportunity, but unlike NASA, SpaceX give it a go after a couple months, not years. I say this as a former aerospace engineer who did internships doing destructive tests of rocket motors back in the ‘70s.
In my opinion, as a financial analyst, SpaceX the IPO was a kitchen-sink IPO, into which one profitable business segment, Starlink, with not very favourable headwinds facing it, was bolted onto a not-profitable but promising Space Launch business along with a pie-in-the-sky AI venture. Investors were likely pricing in the AI hype when they took the bait at $135.
My best estimate of the fair value as the company currently stands at roughly $40 to $50 per share because it still has some potential, and I could see even steeper discounts to the share prices of pure AI plays and the hyperscalers serving them, as the the Chinese have used the US embargo of “sophisticated” chips to attack the problem from another angle far cheaper than their counterparts. It’s a good thing SpaceX has rockets and satellites.

A lesson learned in Economics 101.

I suggest Starship is 2970s NASA Space Shuttle sold to venture capitalists and IPO investors.
How many of those breeding Cows are jewish?!

Just my two cents. YMMV.
