Unlike Re... Arnault, you are a very sharp blade, Julian, a contrarian empath with sound logic and integrity, like Berletic, and that's why we love you so much!

Also. as Larry Johnson correctly stated, "Mario (Nawfal) is a good indicator of the current status and level of mass media propaganda" LOL

A sharp blade? Is that why I always cut myself choppiing veggies?

Nawfal = Awful?

Never seen anymore so informed about so many things.

Thank you for for that skilled translation of the postmodernist bullshit with which the foreign policy press is so enamored. Gawds! I started reading Capital again for a book discussion group and Marx is much easier to follow, and I never thought I'd say that.

You know what? I think many Americans think "asymmetric" means "unfair," because it's usually the enemies of the Empire who practice asymmetric warfare. Kind of like the British thinking submarines were unfair.

Bertrand did a good job of explaining what it really means. Then, Americans can think of the American Revolution and realize that asymmetric warfare once worked in their favor and isn't somehow Bad.

"“Multipolarity” is not about divvying up the world between the “Great Powers” — it is a concept of intercultural communication, respect, and freedom."

And most importantly, SOVEREIGNTY - every country is free to follow its own course of development, politically, economically and culturally, while respecting that right in others.

This delusional idea that the world is just a big happy family is ridiculous. In actual fact the unipolar moment was one of the most peaceful and prosperous in history.

All you kumbya idiots are living in fantasy land

They all have long histories of conflict long before the US existed. You are supremely ignorant of history

why can't I upgrade to paid instead of buying coffees

Judith Stevens's avatar

I tried the coffee thing too but it didn't work either

but it used to work.

Its doesnt work for him, substack issue.

The coffee thing works for me, I just have to remind myself to do it so he gets paid like he deserves

Julian Macfarlane's avatar

YOu can make automatic payments to Buymeacoffee, if that is more convenient. I like the individual payments and try to reply to everyone, also including my take on the day's events and...umm... lots of typos. I like the personal connection and the conversations and have made so very good friends.
