Israel is indeed facing an existential threat, but it's too late; it's already doomed.
Americans really are mostly decent people, and we don't like genocide. BDS is coming to America, and it will succeed with Israel just as it did with South Africa. It is only a matter of time now, and it will get a lot uglier, but it will come.
Maybe ... your regard for our fellow citizens is higher than my own. In my 66 years, it seems the only time death from war (or sanctions) makes any difference to the average American is when body bags come off the jets in too large of numbers to ignore. That our remote, modern warfare has largely negated these body counts, has turned our hearts more callous than ever, it seems to me. The cries go out from the Biden campaign appearances, drowning out the calls for peace, "FOUR MORE YEARS! FOUR MORE YEARS!"
Nobody expects a successful revolution, not even the revolutionaries themselves. That's why they're successful.
What gives me hope are the Ohioans who I live and work with--most really are Midwest NIce, decent people, who just voted to legalize abortion and marijuana in unstoppable numbers.
Well, them, and a lot of people I've found in places like Substack, and historical materialism. The latter tells me that all empires, all oligarchies, all oppressive economic systems eventually fall.
I'm sad about the loos of your friend, Julian. Since we in the USA have no allies nearby (except for Canada) a flaw in our luck would lend to a rapid demise.. Which would mean much of the Southwest would go back to Mexico
I don't know whom would get the North maybe Canada. As for the rest, it strikes me that this whirlwind of micro was tock decades of bad planning and fat bribes to happen. We just have to wait for what happens next.

The 5th Navy was always too impotent to stop Iranian IRBMs & ASBMs.
'Israel' meanwhile was never going to clear the Vast Tunnel Network & 'rescue' its people.
There was never enough Weaponry left since Ukraine burned through most of it.
In the Pacific, Munitions were always going to be 'Strategically Cannibalized,' thus.
