How refreshing to read fact based common sense based on realities. Instead of the usual Western media Bullshit. Based on the most unreliable set of corrupt gansters from Ukraine. Thanks Julian.

I never read the msm anymore, it's bad for my health. Thanks to the likes of Julian I do have a pretty good idea of what is really going on!

re video "news":

I can no longer suffer even 3 seconds of corporate "news".

It's torture

If you're not getting at least *some* of your news from "just some guy in his house", then you'll never know what's going on :-):

Thank you, Julian, for this amazing list of technical details of AD Weapon Manufacturing versus Attack Flying Targets.. I understood that to start a production of new AD weapons, the US needs minimal 10 years ?

Well... That means for those countries that produce Arial Weapons, that they soon have empty space of AD. For short range (Drone-type), defense can be created by 'Swarm' technology of drone types. In stead of mines, fortresses and trenches, they can guard a whole area and attack any and all attacking Drones. Or attack soldiers and/or vehicles or Artillery. And exciting movies...

We will soon be spectators of new military developments...

"Right now the Japanese are worried their Patriot and Aegis systems would be ineffective against Russian or Chinese hypersonic weapons with maneuvering warheads".

The remedy is in their own hands. Don't get into a war against Russia or China.

Which is obvious common sense anyway.

Julian Macfarlane's avatar

Actually, the average Japanese doesn't think about Russian or Chinese hypersonic weapons much, nor Patriot or Aegis systems. That is just a few ...ummm... guys who make plastic models of Zeros and the Yamato and watch war movies. And of course, big corporations who make a lot of money "adapting" these systems to "Japanese conditions", lol. Kinda like the F35b for the Japanese aircraft carrier. Pity it loses its stealth coating in a day or two, has no range, shitty armament. But the electronic add-ons can be adapted to consumer products. And the stealth coatings, too. China is Japan's biggest source of imports -- but the US is Japan's biggest export target. Gotta keep the Americans happy. I should mention that most of Japanese culture is imported from China (and Korea). Japan was a neglected colony of China since the end of the Jomon period.

in Westoid propaganda world:

the (reported) effectiveness of a munition is directly proportion to its cost

Patriots cost around $4 mil each.

Hence, it's effective as hell

Julian Macfarlane's avatar

Kinda like Ferraris. Expensive as hell. Great on a race track with a full team of mechanics on standby. Useless for buying groceries. Or touring in the countryside .

Send the money!

Escalate!

Force Russia to advance all the way to the Carpathian Mountains.

Expend every possible Dollar & Euro possible.

The sooner the west collapses, the sooner the revolution will begin.

According to Larry Johnson, the money sent to Ukraine is put into suitcases and taken by one of Zelensky's mates or rels to the UAE every week. From there is is recirculated around the "great and good" ie those getting the money out of stupid governments thinking they are defeating Russia - one huge money laundering scam. Making peace would be so much easier but not nearly as profitable. About the Patriots, I read that Poland has "graciously" handed over a bunch of them to help out Ukraine - they must have held their collective nose - to be wasted by Zelensky and his thugs. I just don't get the stupidity!?!?!? And here's Carney buying 12 submarines - 12- what does Canada need 12 submarines for, they are useless as icebreakers. From the GERMANS! You couldn't make it up

Julian Macfarlane's avatar

Larry is responding to an unconfirmed story from one of his (Larry's) mates. . Nope. No pictures of suitcases full of money! The story is viral because not because it is likely but because it so Hollywoodish. Money in suitcases? Love it on the big screen . In reality, no for any number of (obvious) reasons. BUT money is FLOWING! Carney is not handing over money in suitcases. Absolutely right about submarines for Canada. But Canada has an unfortunate history with submarines, LOL.

To be fair, it does sound "hollywoodish", but then again... we've seen Ashraf Ghani running to the airport with literal duffel bags stuffed with cash money. Cash has this undeniable advantage of not being as easy to trace as electronic transfers, very convenient when you're committing tax fraud, bribing foreign officials... or when you're skimming off the top, as it is very likely the case here since Z and his cronies suffer from a terminal case of sticky fingers.

I recall a rumour I've heard a couple of years ago, about the SBU supposedly having a lot of kompromat on EU officials coming on official visit to Kyiv and leaving with an extra suitcase in their luggage. Rumours aside, it's pretty much undeniable by now that several EU politicians are getting "contributions" from the Ukro regime and therefore are very interested in keeping the money flowing and especially keeping it out of the public eye (for example, Italian reps Pina Picierno and Carlo Calenda are probably the most rabid pro-Ukronazi stooges in the entire EU, on par or even worse than the infamous Kaja Kallas; Calenda even had the Ukro trident tattooed on his arm. Wonder how much money he got for that)

No need to make it up. It was ever so.

ESSENTIAL articles! If we had a remotely honest and functional media Ted Postol's revelations would have shaken and possibly badly destroyed the MIC racket, whose overall inflated quality had already been systematically pulverized by critics like Andrei Martyanov. But who in his sane mind wishes that? A truly effective weapons production machine for one of the most evil Empires in history?

America's pathologically greedy MIC is actually a blessing for humanity. Empires like America need to be taken down by any means necessary. It's a gift from destiny that, as it often occurs to declining upper classes, their intelligence, common sense and even self-preservation instinct shrink in inverse proportion to the obscene expansion of their fortunes. Indeed, the ordinary member of this disgusting oligarchy is too dumb and too concerned with his short-term financial designs & personal caprices to pay enough attention to the true state of the world and their chief citadel. Again, this is a gift to us, as it makes our struggle more feasible. The enemy is formidable, but it has structural and character flaws it cannot overcome.

The US needs to update its old “Millions for defence, not one cent for tribute” Federalist slogan to “Trillions for defence, and billions for tribute.”

The Keevler Elf works hard for the money, so you better treat him right. And don’t forget our friends in Jerusalem.

BTW, the Pac-3 is turning out to be a spectacular Surface to Surface missile system, but the Ukies might do better to dig out their old Soviet-era MLRS gear.

'“Us” of course means Zelensky. He will accept dollars or coke — or both'.

Dollars and coke are fungible - if you have enough protection.

Reminds me of the old slogan, “Things go better with Coke.”

According to what I read, it takes 2 years to put a Patriot missile together because it's assembled by 400 separate companies (!) in the US.

This is because the 'defence' industry spreads operations across every congressional district for leverage - i.e., give us a blank cheque/resources/tax breaks for building missiles or we'll cause unemployment in your constituency!

So it isn't globalization per ser, it's deliberate decentralization of production for political leverage..
