Excellent as always, Julian! I’d surely buy you coffees (I actually owe you a lot for all of what I have read to date), but that site is not accessible to me where I am. I have been banned until the G7 think otherwise…. ☹️☹️
Where are you located? Stripe accepts all the major credit cards outside of "sanctioned" countries. But send me your email address and I will provide you with links to special articles anyway. I will eventually set up another payment system.
I am in evil Russia, definitely a terrorist! Requested address: solnishkomoyo54@gmail.com. More details about banned coffees and the like can be sent to you from there. Cheers!
As I recall...aren't you in France? Stripe accepts all major credit cards, including French ones. Ah....maybe you are being targeted as a Terrorist! See my reply above to Dmitry.
Thank you for this very readable lesson in modern economy. Or must i call it 'Post-Empire economics' ?
It will cost time for this lesson, that is also carried by BRICS, to be fully implemented on a large scale. But it is a successful one.
For whom is interested in more about this issue, i do advice to listen to Alexander Mercouris on his YouTube Chanel. He produces about 1 ½ hours each day of which about 10% is on economics. Often he has a clickable AI-index below his video, so you don't have to go through the whole video if you want to pick out the economics parts (on Russia, but also on the US and Europe and of course Britain). Another tip is to set the speed on 1.25, because he is a slow speaker and it shortens the video to a bit over 1 hour. Just saying...
Here a good example, on US Economics (Tariffs) and its mingling with US-politics on Brazil, starting at the right point and don't forget to subscribe.
At the moment Russia has cleared Ukraine of the ability to fight an offensive war. Russia has depleted the weapons stockpiles of NATO so much so that the USA had to decouple Israel from a war with Iran.
It is believed that the large drone attacks, of 500 to 700 per night, are hitting NATO troops stationed in Ukraine.
China is openly admitting that the Ukraine war helps them as Taiwan cannot be defended over a long period due to the weapons not being available. China does need to invade. Time is on their side.
The Ukraine war allows new Russian, Chinese and North Korean weapons to be tested.
NATO weapons cannot be modernised as they cannot keep up with the manufacturing for their current weapons requirements.
As the economies of the NATO countries are slowing any chance of changing the status quo and rearming is virtually impossible.
Russia is currently fighting WW3 with the help of China, North Korea and Iran.
The longer this war continues the weaker NATO becomes.
People sometimes post things online or say in pubs that don’t appear in public discourse. My rule is that if you want to be known and respected for your analytical work, you just don’t do that.
It is therefore against my better judgment that today, I make the following exception:
Trump and Biden are not worthy to stoop at President Putin’s feet to untangle his jock strap.
On a more respectable note, President Putin’s successor will inherit a very different Russian Federation than what Boris Yeltsin handed to him.
Putin may well be to the RF what Abe Lincoln is to the US.
Ok. I skimmed this piece but got the gist. Here’s the thing …the West has to realize that Ukraine can’t win and that it’s time to stop the bleeding of its youth and try to make the best of what’s left. Russia has the stronger hand…period and time is on its side. Furthermore everyone knows that Ukraine is corrupt to its core and no one is willing to risk nuclear war over this country. Time to put this behind us.
You do realize that much of the infrastructure in the remaining Ukraine not occupied by Russia is in shambles. The west is already positioning themselves for the reconstruction. Who said that war isn’t a racket.
Who cares if western firms are positioning themselves for reconstruction in Ukraine? Ukraine will be under Russia control and there will be NO western presence in Ukraine.
I was living in Ukraine, so I am pretty sure I know the condition of Ukraine better than you.
Perhaps. But answer me this… do you really think Russia wants to occupy Ukraine (except the reclaimed territories…which are mostly ethnic Russian)? Those in the east probably will give the troops that occupy a lot of problems. It’s going to be interesting as to who is correct…no? Assuming the west doesn’t do something stupid…then all bets are off.
Wow. Mohamad Mathadir looks like he's in his 70s, not 100 .. at least from the photo. You know the question I always ask when people have health complaints ... "Could it be something you've been eating?" That is always the first question. I think outside the US, they know this and it seems evident that they live a healthlier lifestyle.
That is very true. I promote a longevity diet because it has been proven, and it is a combination of cutting out the garbage and getting the most highly beneficial foods. You don't have to be obsessive about, just form good habits and eat variety. Too many people are dehydrated and looking for a silver bullet. Recently had a conversation with a massage therapist about her "tremmers: shaky hands and a facial tic" and she was looking for something to take - cell salts, copper, etc. etc. After a couple of short discussions I just had to tell her that "no matter what you eat, what supplements you take, nothing is going to work if you're dehydrated - nothing!" She was drinking maybe 12 ounces of water day, and was relying a Yerba Mate and coffee for energy ... dehydration amps up the caffeine effects and of course she had tremmers. I put her on a 30 day test reducing Yerba Mate to 1 cup and 1 cup of coffee, and upping water to 2-1/2 quarts/liters daily so she could form new patterns. The tremmers subsided. Food and lifestyle are the silver bullets everyone is looking for.
That could be Cairenn, I look much younger than my 78 years too and i eat healthy but not extremely so. The good Ballance and with one eye on the bathroom scale, not vegetarian, avoiding 'too much' of anything.
But i am Autistic, that makes a difference say the statistics. So i boldly suggest that Mohamad Mathadir could be Autistic. I don't know much about him, but if he is highly intelligent and uses masking that could be a confirmation.
The West constantly projects it's ways upon China& Russia. Iran as well for that matter. It's always trying to make those countries out to be themselves. No matter what the facts are in front of everyone's eyes. They won't ever get it, that these countries would rather be good trading partners. Because it doesn't suit their own narratives of World domination.

Ha. Well all the West would call you a terrorist but I do not.
Is this why I cannot buy Coffee or Julian? I do not know but it is interesting.
Julian: You need to get help if you want to live your life?
As I recall...aren't you in France? Stripe accepts all major credit cards, including French ones. Ah....maybe you are being targeted as a Terrorist! See my reply above to Dmitry.
Maybe. I don't have problems on other sites I pay for.

This one is about the arms-race between Russia and the US, a main part of their economics.

All good comments. I can't think of any American president who has been worthy of anything in memory. Not that my memory is that good.

What the West has to realize is that IT can't win. Ukraine was always a lost cause.
Good point
"Skim" consume some more.
Conflict in Ukraine has virtually nothing to do with Ukraine, and everything to do with American/western hegemony.
The war stops when America/the west & their proxies are gone from Ukrainian territory.
When the SMO stops and Ukraine surrenders -- the West will continue their war -- other places, other methods.
In my view the “west” does not have much longer.
Of course it will terrorize, kill & pillage to the last moment, as it's owners attempt to maintain the global control “they” have held for so long.
But “they” fucked up this time.
“They” can't war their way out this time
Russia & China became to powerful.
“They” can no longer pillage the whole world to keep their ponzi scheme going.
Agreed but right now this same group is jockeying for the lucrative rebuilding contracts
The rebuilding of Ukraine will be done by Russia & China.
There will be no "west" on soon to be former Ukraine territory.
You do realize that much of the infrastructure in the remaining Ukraine not occupied by Russia is in shambles. The west is already positioning themselves for the reconstruction. Who said that war isn’t a racket.

I am 78. But you have seen my photos. Those are RECENT.
The question should be: "Is it something that you are NOT eating"? 50% of the average American's calories are "anti-nutritional" .

Excellent article!
Isn’t Putin a lawyer though?
Thanks for devoting your time to answer my questions, bought you some coffee as promised 🙂
