I hope you read Eric Zuesse too. He is a very interesting writer. It is interesting that Blinken just went to China -- where the Chinese seem to have read him the riot act. An interesting side to this is that the US cannot recognize the independence of Taiwan without recognizing the independence of Russian Ukraine.

Thanks again Julian, yes I have read some Eric Zeuesse he's widely published. Also Thierry Meyssan's has given us some excellent insights too over many years, on his Voltairenet.org site. I've read recently somewhere that the Ukrainian parliament has some US officials / advisors (with veto powers?) attached to it, which as you point out seems a huge hypocrisy c/w Taiwan China links. Be an interesting analysis article to compare with Taiwan...

Speaking of The Duran, I loved Alexander's post yesterday going through the Chinese readouts of the Blinken meetings, as well as Blinken's comments after committing to "one China." Of course, what we say means nothing. We will arm Taiwan and every other nation we can possibly suck into a war with China. Fortunately, the Russians have proved their abilities exceed ours. It ought to at least make the any fence-riding warmonger in Congress think anew on wars with an axis of Russia, China and Iran.

Yes, I say Alexander's post. As usual, brilliant. See my new post today on Blinken. https://julianmacfarlane.substack.com/p/blinken-and-biden-having-your-duck I need to expand on that. But I am trying to keep the posts shorter and more accessible.

And the taxpayers pay the bill and oil the machine. Sickening.

A taxpayer is just a homeless person who doesn't realize he doesn't have a home.

And at this point it is largely the taxpayers of future generations! We certainly do not live within our means--and as the bloated war budget clearly demonstrates, we don't even kill within our means.

It also seems to me that the Americans were betting on this war in Ukraine to bring Russia to its knees, economically, diplomatically and militarily. And quickly. What has happened in the last 18 months? Exactly the opposite. Russia is not only resisting economic sanctions, it is using them to carry out far-reaching reforms and attack the dollar. Diplomatically, it is not isolated, but of interest to a larger number of countries. Finally, militarily, it is exhausting NATO, and therefore the United States, while its army appears more powerful, more battle-hardened and more effective every day.

In this war in Ukraine, time is clearly on Russia's side. The more time passes, the stronger Russia becomes, and the more its adversaries are exhausted.

I hope the Ukro-Nazis are wiped out and NATO is roundly defeated by the end of this year. Russia must not accept anything less than Unconditional Surrender. FJB and the Neocon Nazis must be removed.

Like you I love dogs and cats. All my dogs liked cats too. My daughter is a crazy cat lady who rescued 5 cats who live with her.

I'll buy your a cup of coffee.

I just finished writing a thank you to you on Buymeacoffee's site! As I wrote, I was mostly raised by dogs. Here in Tokyo, it is a lot harder to keep dogs. My family had a fairly big place with a big garden surrounded by trees on the side of a mountain in Canada. It was great for dogs. Here in Tokyo I have been rescuing cats for years. Some I kept; most I re-homed. So Ichi had two sisters, (Ni and San). I found them a home where they could be together since they were inseparable.. Ichi, of course, really thinks he is a dog. He responds to "won-won" which is bow-wow in Japanese and follows me around. Still, I miss my dogs in Canada -- a boxer and a half-wolf husky.
