The most ludicrous event of the last week was seeing all those Republicrats give OrangeMan a standing ovation for his mentioning of DOGE's curtailing of wasteful government spending which they themselves have enacted! :)
And not a single word about this simple fact was written by the "western" commentariat...
Trump's chief import and export: The Shock Doctrine.
The Democrats need to do a bit more than essentially maintain, "although awash, with us in power you will circle the drain much more slowly!"
The Democratic Congressional leadership hectored Jasmine "I'd tell Musk to fuck off!" Crockett and the a too few fellow others to show more decorum and civility. ☹
The Americans foolishly adopted the John Locke mantra of the British Empire: "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Property" against the great vision of Franklin, Washington, Hamilton, John Quincy Adams, Lincoln et.al.: "The pursuit of happiness."
Trump follows salesman George Bush whose legacy was "the ownership society" which proved to be a collosal fraud on Americans in 2008.
The coming real estate crash will drive millions of homeowners into Dickens'- like penury. Let the masses live in tents will be Trump's legacy.
He wants to demonstrate his policy by removing Palestinians in Gaza and building luxury beachfront properties for the nouveau riche.
This video is from Chappy's days in the Shelter. They had a LOT of cats! I tried taking video of Chappy playing and it was fine on my PC but when I uploaded to Substack, the playback was jerky and slow! Guess I need a new smartphone!

"George Washington a land speculator became the richest man in America"

Washington was high up among the wealthiest americans in his later life, but never was THE wealthiest american. During the last couple of decades or so of Washington's life, these guys actually ARE considered the wealthiest known Americans: John Hancock, Elias Hasket Derby, Thomas Willing and, most especially, Stephen Girard. You've never heard of them?
... but as you know if you have or ever had a child, you know that saying NO to him/her is a fundamental thing to do to educated them. So, the problem is exactly that one: how many parents (e.g. my wife not...) have been able and did quite often say NO to their child? I guess few, seen them growing as adult lately and not able to say NO to the things that really matters.
So, I'll add to your post: Freedom begins with a "No" as educating child yesterday and today!

The so called "elite" class don't give a crap about anyone except themselves.
It's time for a planetary rent strike.
Enough of extorting each other for permission to share a planet NONE of us actually own through capitalism specifically real estate.
Get a friggin backbone people!!!

And saying "no" to a parent is essential to individuation. What happens to the child who isn't allowed to say no?
