I read about a joke in the comments on Larry Johnson's blog SONAR21.com. The comment was from a Gulf War vet about a visit to the VA clinic. While talking in the waiting room one of the guys asked, "When did you realize that you're a Stormtrooper and not Luke Skywalker?".

I wonder how many came to that realization.

Great post. It's fun to watch the Righties squirm as Trump sells them out to his Wall Street buddies. Keep everyone focused on immigrants, minorities and wokesters while you rob the bank. Fox News in a nutshell for the last 2 decades. Works like a charm. And they're still buying it! Family values for the chumps and Libertarianism (don't touch the market!) for the Rich. Perfect!

Be careful Chappy does not upstage you. Made me laugh.

I also enjoyed the D H Lawrence quote. My favorite is: "Kick Americans in the guts wherever you find them. I know them, they are smoking, steaming shits."

I would add that they are also pirates and that the US 'system' such as it is, is based more on the rules and regulations prevailing in Barataria, the Pirate capital in the delta of the Mississippi than on anything else. It never went away, it just moved to Washington and Hollywood.

Piracy was sanctioned (in the original sense of the word) by Crowns, particularly the Crown of England. Pirates received 'charters', as corporations do now, in return for 10% of the 'proceeds'

Trumps latest actions, statements, like Biden's before him only make sense in light of the above.

Mafia, yes absolutely but that too was a development of Piracy.

Not sure where to take this and oddly, information about Barataria is hard to come by, like information on Reinhard Gehlen, SS General Eastern Front who was the guiding spirit and founder of the CIA, Senator Frank Church and his Committee, and so many other things of importance.

Nice and fair reminder about US capabilities to fight a war longer the a month because it lacks a industrial base! US Bigtech put altogether IBM, Google, and Microsoft are actively working on quantum technologies but they're not on top of the game anymore. China has made substantial investments in quantum technology 10 years ago and has now achieved notable milestones, including the development of quantum communication networks and quantum satellites. Their hyper missiles are not coming from nothing and it looks like they're ahead. It simply back fires to take hostages like the CFO of Huawei, - which was just another crime and therefore committed by the vassal Canada. It is not without a certain humour when, like yesterday, the little british chancellor declares economic contracts worth a paltry 600 million as a success and with all these idiots who, like parachute diplomats, are never getting tired of emphasising how China treats people so cruelly as if Nuttyahoo were the incarnation of samaritas and its killing orgy of its neighbours is only for maintaining its security.

You range far and wide, always coming back to the point. Beautifully done, 😍 love the representation of hell from the mosaic on the Florence Baptistery ceiling! 👏. Was there a circle in Dante's Inferno dedicated to those whose wealth was borrowed? US all show and bluster, now I know why I have always disliked the place and it's culture. Discovering Florence and French /Italian Cinema verite (Truffaut, Rossellini...etc) in my late teens was exciting and left me giddy. Reading your article gave me that same feeling of giddy enlightment. You Ichi and Chappy deserve another coffee. Thank you.

I just do what Chappy and Ichi tell me to. In my late teams, since I wasn't attending my schedule lectures, I had time to sit in on others....um....art, theoretical physics, and film (among others). So I awakened to French and Italian film. That was in the 60s.

You are dreaming if you think Canada is in better shape or avoids getting crushed when the debt bomb goes off in the western financial system- of which Canada is a small player.

EU & UK are in the same boat. All going down together, tied to the western financial system anchor.

I am a Canadian expat for years, who see's things that can't be seen when you live in the belly of the beast.

Did I say Canada is in better shape? Nope. It will suffer. But it has resources to sell elsewhere than the US, if it has to. And it will have to at some point. Of course, that will probably mean the breakup of the Federation.

Sorry but not true, look at the numbers, we are in debt yes but we have the ability to pay1and we have AAA+ credit because our numbers are good and our debt it actually not even close to the debt of the US , which once you include the DOD is another 21Trillion in debt that's 36.4Trillion plus 21Trillion, you realize the debt goes up a Trillion every 96days plus the county is a sh@# hole .. the stock market is 67%over valued in the US which will promptly crash when people realize tariffs are actually tax increases... And food /cars ,gas goes up another 25%... Pierre is awful on foreign policy too , he want more war on Iran because he is a Zionist something Canada can do without, no matter what side you choose.. they are committing genocide as the tremendous amount of evidence shows , including 1456 video taped confessions by ex IDF...

Pierre wants to be American/ Zionist they can have him.... They are both obstructionist / imperial/ criminal based governments now in my opinion. Brics may free some of the oppression the 45%of the world the Americans crush with illegal sanctions43%of world population... They are clearly the most destructive country on earth... Despite their rhetoric..

Ferguson’s key move — after the explosive conclusion of The Pity of War which I— was using his Scottish and seemingly anti-establishment credentials to ingratiate himself to the Rothschilds for whom he wrote a loving two volume panegyric on the family in “The World’s Banker” (1998). He was praised for doing “detailed original [primary] research”….which meant the Rothschilds gave him limited access to their “archives”, which served as the script for his sanitation of the family’s activities.

Everything after that, Harvard, Stanford, Tsinghua….resulted from this key career move. A string of portentous and pretentious books followed (“Civilization”, “Empire”, “Doom”…) from this ultimate shabbos.

“The Pity of War” showed his comprehensive capabilities as an historian in a well-trodden area (causes of WWI). That he chose to prostitute his talents for power and money, through the Rothschilds, shows the hollow and fruitless core of his inner self (his “will” as Schopenhauer describes it).

The World is Buzzing with Fears, Hopes and Doubts as it hasn't happened that much before...

You make that clear.

.

My sensing (Cassandra) leans to the Hope-site.

But it is closely related with the Fear that Trump will have a car-accident or such 'accident'.

I am no Expert in US Constitution and Laws, but it seems to me Trump will have at least the Power to stop New Wars and to stop much support to existing wars.

That is the base of the Hope.

My sensing tells me his rhetoric and narratives are an indication to his Voters and the other Powers on the World stage, that 'MAGA' means for him now:

"Withdraw from trying to conquer the whole world and start building a sound sphere of Influence around (the North of?) America."

Well... He is planning to escape from the Tentacles (one is the US Deep-State) of the "The City Of London" Monster that hides below all the other Deep-States (European countries, EU-Brussels and NATO-Brussels). It is clear that Monster will start fighting back.

To prevent this, Trump would be advised, as answer to the resistance that Power will have against stopping the War on Russia, to withdraw ALL US-Troops from their bases in Europe.

He could explain it with: Europe and Russia are not our Interest. Let the Europeans solve that themselves. When they do not want peace, so be it, but without us... No Troops, No Missiles.

In The South-West-Asia it is the same. Satanyahu should manage that himself, without US Support, except when he is attacked without having provoked that.

The Power he has to do that is the Popular Vote supporting him. He should listen to them and try to convince them of his plans. Like properly create infrastructure (fire-lanes and water-reservoirs + reserve army fire-fighters ready to help) in California and on Tornado-Disasters in the South.

-

Short: My Hope is that the US-Muscles will be denied to the Monster below The City of London, giving it a Farewell-Punch that will make it Powerless for some years.

Just saying.

Trump has a mandate. He can do things with that. If he wants to. But his still triangulating because he lacks support among the political class. He will no doubt purge some parts of the Deep State, replacing key figures with his own (FBI, etc). He will appoint more Trump-friendly judges where he can. Establishing "spheres of influence" is only possible with economic strength -- which the US increasingly lacks as the world moves towards alternatives. But he will try anyway.
