Brian Berletic has pretty much confirmed my theory about the Kursk incursion that:
a.) the Russians were aware of the Ukraine’s (NATO / US ) plans as much as two months ago
b.) t they did make preparations intending annihilation of invading forces without impediment to their rapidly accelerating operations along the “contact line”.
c.) the Kursk incursion will drastically reduce Ukrainian military capabilities and accelerate the Fall of Kiev.
Berletic’s –as ever – superb excellent analysis relies on the well-known fact that the CIA has been directing Ukrainian intelligence operations from 2014 on and operating spy bases throughout the Ukraine, including Russian border areas.
He notes that Belosouv phoned Lloyd Austin to put the brakes on to operations into Russian territory, presumably the border region and elsewhere –or face the consequences.
The Americans pretended they did not know what was happening – even though Budanov, head of Ukrainian intelligence is a known CIA asset. Of course, they went ahead with Kursk—and the attack on ZPP nuclear power plant. The Kursk operation, in particular needed American and British assistance, without which it could not be undertaken.
However — what goes round comes round. The Americans had been warned.
Now, the Russians are supplying weapons to Iran S400 systems and radars, EW systems, Iskander missiles. You can be sure that each of these comes with support systems— and a lot more. Very likely, for example, the S400 is backed up by the newest Pantsir system—the Pantsir SMD-E .
S400s in Russian use are usually part of a multilayer defense, backed up by fast-reaction system like this.
For example, in the event of war, the Americans would first try to saturate Iranian defenses with Tomahawk cruise missiles.
In Syria, the Syrians shot down over 70% with older short-range Russian AD systems. Medium and short-range Russian and Iranian systems will make mince meat of Tomahawk or equivalent volleys of equivalent missiles, leaving the S400 to deal with ballistic missiles and aircraft.
In addition there are also ( unconfirmed reports) that Russia has supplied —or plans to supply —Iran with Macj 8/9 Zircon hypersonic cruise missiles! No, the Ukrainians never shot any down despite Western / Ukrainian propaganda.
Naturally, the Russians and Iranians are not saying-- since all these new Russian systems would have to be manned by Russian operators—just like Western equipment in Ukraine needs Western operators..
Two can play Proxy War. Bye bye American pie.
Berletic doesn’t go into all these things in his superb video. Nor does he touch upon the matter of Gerasimov now being effectively retired, something in the works for some time. And certainly necessary with coming collapse of the Ukraine.
While the Kursk region was sparsely populated, it does not appear that Gerasimov followed Putin’s directives two months ago as he should have— resulting in unnecessary civilian and non-combat troop casualties. Dyumin – who comes from the region— by the way – is a different animal.
No matter, Kursk is now a trap— and the Ukrainians will have to chew off their own legs to escape.
The pace of the war has speeded up. And lots of things are happening at the same time. Too bad the Americans don’t multi-task well. They are all over the place, flailing about.
Right now, the Russians are more organized and in the Ukraine —advancing fast in the South.
So…the Ukrainians —stupid is as stupid does — are preparing a Kursk style offensive against the ZPP! Repeating the same mistakes they made in all their other failed offensives.
The Russians are waiting with anticipation to wipe out the UAF’s remaining armor and artillery. At the same, they are preparing to take Pokrovsk in the north west of Donba—and a few other strategic places.
West of Pokrovsk, there are only empty steppes until you hit Pavlograd in the northwest or Zaporozhye in the southwest. Once, UAF troops are annihilated in their foolish attack in the direction of the ZPP. both options are open. Taking those two towns will be a big step towards finishing the Ukraine in both the North and the South. The Ukrainian occupation of Russian Ukraine is becoming untangled.
Chappy Times
I had expected Chappy this weekend.
But…it seems he has a tape worm, which he was medicated for before.
He will be delayed for a week. Feral cats get worms from small prey—and they are not easy to get rid of.
He will be medicated for a week—also vaccinated, checked for viruses and the like, and a chip implanted— I guess a locator chip, not a brain chip, which he doesn’t need since he is already smarter than me. All worth it. All lives matter.
His current caregiver will deliver him — and …um…check my apartment to make sure it is up to specs! Got more cleaning to do!
Once again, many thanks to all those who bought coffees to help me adopt Chappy, as well as support my writing. Also thanks to all those who sent me so many kind messages.
As usual , please buy coffees by clicking here. Your support keeps me going.
Coffee of course, gets you on the mailing list for the next special reports, which is actually Part III of the current series. If you want Part I or Part 2,please let me know and I will email them to you!

Real work on the failure of Putin's idiots.
Then hmmm.
Great work again.
Brian is a very good source of military and technical issues in the Middle-East.
I agree with your layered Air-Defense description.
I remember the two attacks by Trump with Tomahawks from the East-Mediterranean US-Navy and how they failed.
About the first one in 2017 i speculated, based upon the known facts, that the Russians had been using Electronic Warfare (GPS take-over) from the North of Syria where they are based, to let more than half of about 60 Cruisemissiles drop into sea and only a few, directed more southward, hitting an airbase that had been evacuated before the strike (in a deal with Trump).

The second one in 2018 should have been a dummy attack (another deal Putin-Trump).
The so-called SARIN-sites were hit and appeared to NOT contain Sarin. The sneaky attempts to hit Airfields and other military Targets were mysteriously all missing their targets

I am certain, that the Electronic Warfare system that Putin brought to Iran is even much better...
Well... We will see...
