I have empathy considering I've kept my website with over a million words closed for 2 years now. I got flooded with court cases by politicians. I have two prison sentences hanging over me. The evidence doesn't matter if the Court is loyal to the political party.

It seems the US Trade-administration (Who has as task to manage the .ORG domain) has made a Empire-Propaganda-supporting clean-up in the .ORG domain.

Websites should move to other DNS-domains, like .PRESS...

Clearly the administration is ignoring the 1st Amendment challenge. This is a coup.

I remember how many people, including myself, naively believed in the 90s that the internet would be a force for freedom. If an alternative cannot be found, we're screwed.

Countries like Russia and China have created an Internet that has only some control-points where it is connected with "Outside".

On these points, massive 'Firewalls' can keep out obvious attacks from the Global Internet.

I know for sure, that Russia has a DNS-Infrastructure ready to take over after a disconnect.

It may be possible to use VPN-connections via this Firewall or alternatively via "dial-in" connections to Russian VPN-Servers, and from there use the Russian infrastructure to use their "part" of Internet.

When the Empire tries to use its Registrar function of the ROOT of DNS, to disrupt traffic in or to These "Bulwarks", it will result in isolation of the former hegemon, because the other Bulwarks will give each other at least this VPN-Access to (and from) each others area.

And maybe a "Terror-attack" will damage the fibreglass cables that connect the Sea-surrounded American Continent for its "SWIFT" and other Imperial networks, with the rest of the world... :o

And what will Europe and South-America do then ?

This is an impression of the coming internet-wars...

A great analysis. This kind of stuff backfires.

Not surprised. The West is now 1930s Germany. Expect the same results.
