My recent article "Ain't over till the Fat Guy Sings" wasn't one of my best. Sorry for that….
Sometimes I get to the end of an article and realize it is where I should have started! In this case, I should have looked at my conclusions more carefully, and started again from there. Oh well…. It took me years to learn to read. I am still working on the writing.
Now I need to clarify what I wrote last time.
For me, this "debate" was not a real debate but a Media Event set up really for the benefit of ABC News rather than the public. I guess I am just old and I expect too much.
Anyway, the “debate” It was a spectacle. It assumed a passive, or at least uncaring audience to brainwashed to think critically.
What exactly do I mean by “spectacle” .
Guy DeBord wrote the definite work on the concept back in 1967. In effect, he predicted much of what has come to pass.

As I wrote in the comments to the previous article, Trump is a moron—but Harris is a useful idiot. I am not sure which is worse.
In the case of Trump. his off-the-wall comments are easy to laugh at’ his idiocies, easier to identify and oppose—they speak for themselves.
In addition, the Media challenges Trump all the time – which is made easier by comments about immigrants eating cats and dogs --and your budgie bird! He is a made-for-Comedy Hour politician.
While Trump is full of himself, Harris is an empty vessel --filled from time to time by the NeoCons running Biden. Which is why her attacks on Trump are full of same exaggerations and misdirection used by Biden – copied perhaps from Joe’s teleprompter..
Who is more of a hypocrite? I don’t know.

In the case of Harris, what matters to the media are her pantsuits. She supports genocide just like the Republicans. She supports neo-Nazis in Ukraine and their atrocities. She supports whatever is written in the script.
She says things which are clearly just not true – and not supported by facts—which no reasonably intelligent person should believe. Bluntly she lies.
She claims, for example, that Vladimir Putin "invaded" Ukraine . That is one of the more obvious lies.
Putin offered military assistance to newly independent republics which had been under attack since 2014, partly under occupation and threatened with ethnocide, thjis in accordance with international law.Western Ukraine was the invader (of the DPR and LPR); Russia, the defender. In other words, the SMO is a war of liberation as well as self-defense. There is no valid counterargument here.
Harris says that Putin wants to conquer Europe and the rest of the world –a latter-day Genghis Khan who has to be stopped before he rapes your sister. That's a lie also. Europe is a mess. Why would Putin want it? Why does he want your sister? I could go on….but you get my point. Whether you agree or not is up to you.
The mainstream media doesn’t challenge these lies. Because I guess they were the ones who started them.
Forget a million or so dead people.

The Democratic national convention was therefore a spectacle created by DeBord’s "invisible bureaucracy"-- which pulls the strings of the people the public think they chose to “lead”.

In 2020, the Green Party got 0.2 % of the vote, with Howie Hawkins. Can Jill Stein do better than the 3% she got in 2016? With AOC trashing her as “predatory”?
In the end, the buck stops with us.
The end of America will not be pretty when it comes – which will be sooner than later.
War?
There is a very good chance of a major war in the Middle East in the coming months.
Biden has committed the US to supporting Israel.
Now, , Russia is arming Iran. It will probably arm Hezbollah and the Houthis later when the time is right.
The Americans have backed off -- for the time being – on threats to give the Ukraine long range JASSMs—after a clear warning from Putin -- but they very much want to derail BRICS—which means you can expect them to expedite some kind of Ukrainian adventurism to hurt Russia, as they did with Kursk. Anything to spoil the music.
The Russians have held off supplying the Houthis with advanced weapons, as have the Iranians – mostly because the Saudis have asked them to because fear the Houthis will use those weapons against them. But you can be sure that Russia is doing backroom deals to prevent war between Yemen and the KSA. And you notice Iran and the KSA are talking defense agreements .
If war between Iran and Israel looms, and if the US sticks to its bellicose polices, the Houthis and Hezbollah will get what they need.
One should add that Russia’s most advanced weapons need Russian operators and training and targeting systems— so that gives Russia decisive control over their use— just as is the case with NATO and the Ukraine.
Technically, the countries with US bases disallow the uses of those bases in wars they are not party to. The US could accede to that and save its people and equipment which otherwise would be targeted and destroyed. But would they?
If the US joins Israel against Iran, it will lose at least one carrier and support vessels, plus bases in Syria and Iraq at least.
Israel will be toast.
Imagine thousands of America’s sons and daughters coming home in flag draped caskets.

The only thing which "might", and I mean might wake up Americans is for them to be struck with missiles on the way to work in the morning. None of us have ever experienced "war" where we live. The people just do not care about military losses, of course, they will never admit it. 9/11 scared some people, (of course we never learned the truth) but that was different than War at home. I really believe that Americans will only demand a change IF they become poor, I mean really poor like if we lose the dollar as the world currency OR if we ever experience the terror of suffering random strikes on our homes or businesses. You know the things our Govt. has forced other countries to tolerate for decades.
I have noticed that a bigger majority of people are totally shutting off the political nonsense. Most people have realized that our 'vote" does not matter. We have seen without any deception at all that our politicians answer to the Jewish lobby, and the military and pharma lobbies. Nothing else matters to the whores in Washington.
Under Trump, i think, that the collapse would be slower. (unless he got tangled in some large scale pro-Israel military action in the middle east, which is possible)
If he indeed is going to reduce (or remove, as he boasted somewhere) income taxes, that would largely benefit the regular people who would have more money at hand. Of course unless the rampant inflation is tackled, that would likely not mean much.
Harris is just totally brainless, she reminds me of most of the EU political elite, nearly none of them seem to have any original thoughts - perfect puppet, i think the robbery of wealth and unjust persecution of people will get into high gear if she is 'elected'
After all, someone in the 'deep state' still is afraid of Trump's unpredictability and fears he may stray from the path, Butler events would have not otherwise occurred...
