It doesn't matter who the figurehead is in America, their solution for everything, is conflict, chaos, causing death & destruction. They don't have any ability to do any diplomacy on equal terms with anyone. Arrogance & ignorance towards anything not American is a national pastime.
For the last 75 years + our "ownership class" have had a great big hammer available. All their problems started to look like nails after a while and often merely threatening to pick up that hammer was sufficient to get their way.
Things may have changed re: utility of the big hammer.
Things may NOT have changed in the habits of that old hammer's owners.
Wear your personal protection and stock up on SPF 1 million sunblock.
Why is it the other nations with a big hammer haven't hit the nail on the head in countless countries. Causing conflict death & destruction on an industrial scale?
I will observe that Britain, France and Israel all have beaten down a few other areas since they obtained nuclear weapons. Pakistan & India have MOSTLY limited themselves to beating up on each other, and with some restraint since both became nuclear powers.
Russian Federation, post Afghanistan & after USSR dissolved took a good while off, aside from dealing with troubles "the West" stirred up for them in Chechnya + their near abroad as in Georgia/South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
China did manage to have a war with Vietnam over events in Cambodia plus border scuffles with India.
South Africa WAS nuclear armed for a very short period near the end of apartheid and for a wonder, dissolved their government after disassembling their nuclear weapons without ever using them outside of a possible test shot. Not that they didn't kick the crap out of several neighboring countries plus their own rebellious "bantustans" before giving it up.
While nobody with nukes has been a saintly country at all times, USA has been trying out for a part in Exorcist III.
Does Trump actually have a plan to end the Ukraine conflict? It doesn’t appear so. Also, the new administration is actively backing a plan to forcibly displace Palestinians. In other words, ethnic cleansing. Will Trump soon be known as 'Genocide Don?'
CrossTalking with George Szamuely and Mark Sleboda.
Thanks for this, Paulo. I don't think Trump does "plans". Plans require reading and thinking and discussion. That would interfere with Trump's golf time.
Talking to a Palestinian friend the other day, he said to me: "This is nothing new for us. The Nakba never ended. It has been genocide from the beginning."
The most visceral humiliation of being a person of color in the West isn’t in the overt acts of discrimination – those at least can be named and fought. It’s in the constant, grinding awareness that you’re being engaged through the lens of prejudice, judged not by your character but by your name, your cultural heritage, your appearance. And in the cruelest twist, when you dare to speak out against this reality, your very reaction becomes a confirmation of the stereotypes you’re fighting against.
Interesting. I do respect Brian's visions on Military Technology, Tactics and Strategies.
But he interprets Trump's noise without understanding him.
1. Tariffs are not Sanctions. Sanctions are placed on 3th parties to isolate a 2nd party. A war-like mechanism. Tariffs are placed on imports from a 2nd party. A common trade tool.
2. Tariffs are meant to protect the own production against cheap imports. Improving the own production can also be done by inviting the exporting 2nd party to invest in your country in modern factories, using your existing manpower.
3. Focusing on Tariffs in stead of Sanctions and regime changes, is a sound way of doing competition with competitors. Not a tool for War.
4. Trump is still busy to get his team-mates into the government and so Trump is still spreading confusion about his real plans, to prevent his opponents (who maybe don't know yet that Trump sees them as such) from uniting in blocking his work.
5. When i am not mistaken (Currently 57.5% probability) Trump and his team are changing the 'Civil War in Yankeestan' (as Cassandra named it since the election of Trump 01) into a REAL Revolution, that could shape the FULL Multipolar world order within 4 years (or a bit more).
6. The most important event will be, after he got his team complete, how he handles Gaza and Israel. Whatever he says, Gaza should get a (or more) Harbours and an Airport (not under Israel's control) to be used to import all they need to feed and house the Gazans IN Gaza. Followed by the REBUILDING of GAZA. Both the US, the EU and Britain, TÜRKIYE and the BRICS countries and Arab nations should join in rebuilding Gaza (and if necessary the West Bank). They will need the Gazan's help in that rebuilding. Without US (and the City of London's) weapons Israel is clipped and powerless...
It seems clear to me, that this can only succeed after AIPAC or its means of corrupting the Senate and Congress, has been blocked, like they did with USAID.
It will be Europe that has to confront the Monster in the City of London. But they will need help in that effort. Cheap Gas from Russia could be a start. And of Course the elimination of the Lobby-Networkers who run Brussels (both EU + NATO).
OK.
We will see.
Sander. (I had been thinking to choose Sasha as pseudonym but it sounded too 'womanlike' in my ears and i had chosen Cassandra for my intuitive alter-ego.)
Trump is all over the place. Is he deliberately confusing us or is he just confused? Tariffs could be his way of jump starting US manufacturing enterprise and getting Americans producing and employed. I guess employed people can afford to buy the stuff they make at home. Less tax, less regulation, inviting foreign producers to make stuff in the US, for the US market, instead of in Mexico and Canada for the US market makes sense. I dunno, Trump gives me a headache, we'll see, there might be some kind of method in Trump's madness, he's dumb but not stupid, and he has unconventional Musk and Ramaswamy around him and they're not stupid. As long as he doesn't have US Marines board Chinese merchant ships on the high seas and blow up the place let him do what he wants.
US cars, especially electric or hybrid ones, are far too expensive. China makes better ones and much cheaper.
So...
No one will buy US cars any more and buy them from China and a Tariff will make cars for Americans very expensive, while the rest of the world buys cheap ones.
And China cannot make cars for the US-market.
So... invite China to invest and (re)build car factories that can produce those cheap and splendid cars, using US workers.
Then US can export cars again and China does not have to export cars there any more.
That's what the US did with the Japanese. Invite the Japanese to build factories in the US. Why Japan is OK and China is not? Because the Japanese bow .
What any politician does is all that matters. What they say is as valuable as a fart in a hurricane. You have to stitch together their actions to get a sense of where they are really going which is rarely in the direction of the hoi polloi.
Trump's greatest lesson to learn is that MIGA and MAGA are intrinsically incompatible and that MIGA and City of London are one. Furthermore Ukraine and Gaza are City of London curated projects.
It will take a while yet for the 'alt-media MSM' and the MAGAdroids to wake up - if they ever do.
People are very good at projecting their own hopes onto some new leader, some ray of 'hope and change' - remember that line? In the US it happens every four years. Like clockwork.
What is it they say about doing the same thing over and over, and expecting a different result?
The plan is ingenious: one step forward, two steps back, one step forward, two steps back....
If they're already in the US military (or even the National Guard) they can be sent.
Facing almost certain death, a few may choose to follow Aaron Bushnell's footsteps rather than die slaughtering innocents. Better to die a martyr than a mass murderer.
But most will go. The patriotic US Christian Church is heavily infested with Zionists.

Trump is dead weight, but still weighty.
Mark Sleboda hits it out of the park:

The Ukraine conflict will end when Russia says it's done. Don "plans", God laughs.
Praying for the Palestinians. Any donations I scrape up will go the Red Crescent & the Hind Rajab foundation.

Amazing how racist the West is,

Spare a thought for white ukranians, who the west clearly consider 3rd class scum to be sent to the slaughterhouse. The younger the better.
But perhaps that is more about class than race, or a bit of both?
Only a monster can sacrifice 1 million people to get their resources, and if they win the war, the loser's resources too.
I leave it up to you to figure out what that Monster is (it recently fled to the City of London, after it was being kicked out of Washington)

Great article on the preparation for war, phase 1 is about shaping the battlefield…
Yes. Very well worth reading and quite depressing. I think China is quite capable of outsmarting the West.
The lead in in most tech fields. Russia leads in another 4 or 5. Together, Russia and China are unbeatable militarily.
Which is why US wants trade routes and rainbow revolutions.
This is one of Trump's informal tariff advisors. He tries to make baloney taste like caviar, he's better at it than some one else....

A VERY interesting post. With equally interesting assumptions.
America elite has vanquished Americas original “ dream “for its people to create a new world.
It’s not going to happen now!
Nothing learned nothing gained.
It’s the old world come back to haunt the moronic leadership.
The "dream" started with genocide of the indigenous people.
With such a foundation there was no chance.

Good points all.
Who the hell will want to manufacture in the US? They can go to China for this or India/Indonesia etc.
Can anyone imagine building a plant in the US and then having all the rules changed!
Who ? China...
An example:
US cars, especially electric or hybrid ones, are far too expensive. China makes better ones and much cheaper.
So...
No one will buy US cars any more and buy them from China and a Tariff will make cars for Americans very expensive, while the rest of the world buys cheap ones.

That's what the US did with the Japanese. Invite the Japanese to build factories in the US. Why Japan is OK and China is not? Because the Japanese bow .
Yes...
Maybe because the US was not yet a Hegemon Empire then ?
And probably Trump will decide to do that too, after he cleared the way for it in the Deep State after he reorganized it ?
I know... Do not listen or react on what he says. He has messages to a lot of different groups and players in it. Look at what he DOES.
Sander

Only one answer that I see: Don't join the Military.
Trump's greatest lesson to learn is that MIGA and MAGA are intrinsically incompatible and that MIGA and City of London are one. Furthermore Ukraine and Gaza are City of London curated projects.

Legerdemain. Now you see it! Poof! Now you don't!
Been saying that a while!
The RUMP will start the Third Jewish World War
by April!
He’ll send troops to Nazi-occupied Palestine in
Feb-March!
Martin Armstrong's "Socrates" says nukes in April. Also some astrologers.
What troops?
How many people will sign up for this?
If they're already in the US military (or even the National Guard) they can be sent.
Facing almost certain death, a few may choose to follow Aaron Bushnell's footsteps rather than die slaughtering innocents. Better to die a martyr than a mass murderer.
