Thank you sir for having the backbone to tell the truth about Zelensky and the Nazis in Ukraine. I’m just afraid one false move and a nuclear weapon is launched by a misunderstood command. I really can’t contemplate how my America is supporting such an evil regime.

Sorry but I back Putin and Russia 110%.

God help us

This is excatly in line with my thinking. The MSM has been gaslighting the public for a long time now. The false narratives about Covid and Ukraine are but the latest manifestations of this truth. But as your article points out, this has been a constant throughout our recent history (at least). The NYT especially has form. The most obvious recent one was being a booster for a (totally unnecessary) war with Iraq. Readers may not remember a certain Walter Duranty who was Moscow correspondent for the NYT during the Stalin years and the holomodor, which starved millions in both Ukraine and Russia in 1932, false reporting of Stalin (he was whitewashed by Duranty) ensured the West never knew about this. Worse, Duranty was awarded the Pulitzer for his work!

I seek my 'contarian' (read honest) reporting from a lot of alternate sites now, NOT the MSM. Unfortunately, most people are ill-informed because they either do not have the time to do a deeper dig, or are just plain lazy. Sleepwalking into Armageddon, while Rome burns, as 'twere.

I believe it was Thomas Jefferson who wrote "An informed citizenry is the best defence against tyranny". Nuff said.

The main problem is that people confuse "narrative" -- story telling -- with fact, with reality. 50,000 years ago we sat around the fire and some old guy told stories about the gods of nature or some heroic figure from the past. But hunting and gathering societies, unlike the tribal societies that came later were "reverse dominance" societies. People listening to the stories and pointed out the plotholes in a good natured way and laughed. The old guy laughed too. Everyone knew that that what you know was what you could actually experience, touch and feel, and your personal visions after a mushroom or two was a lot more indicative of what the gods said than an old guy's story, which was understood as allegory. The MSM provides myths, allegories, entertainment. Realities are another matter. What we need , as you say, is questioning -- that "contrarian" reporting you speak of. And an "informed citizenry, also as you say. What we evolved to be and the three legged dog that emerged just 9000 years ago is rather different as I write in my book. So, no -- you cannot get the truth about the Holodomor or Covid or the Ukraine from the mass media. It's like trying to get nutrition at MacDonalds.

now that he has banned the Ukrainian Orthodox Church his days are numbered. A huge, huge, mistake!

The longer the "war" (love the song, "Who Can Find the War" by Tim Buckley) goes on, the more Zelensky denazifies the Ukraine. All by himself.

Thank you for your perceptive analysis, it is good to read things that stimulate thought and push a bit at our illusionary ideas.

"Jews being tortured, mutilated and killed"? I'm a couple of years younger than you but I don't know what you are talking about. Leo Frank, a Jew who raped and murdered a 13 year old Catholic girl in his pencil factory and tried to blame it on the black janitor was lynched. He was convicted but then big Jew money flooded in and as the corrupt governor of Georgia was leaving office he pardoned Leo Frank. The local people had enough hung/lynched him. Other than this event in 1913, I don't know what you are talking about..

Thank you. You are correct about torture and mutilation of Jews. There was none, not at least as in the case of blacks. That was sloppy writing on my part. Apologies. I have removed that reference. However, the consensus today was that Leo Frank was innocent. I removed that reference. However, there were lynchings; ie extrajudicial killings on non-blacks. Lynchings Jews were indeed rare, as you point out. And certainly the Israelis have "lynched" (killed extrajudicially a lot more Palestinians). On the other hand, there was a lot of antisemitism in the US, but more subtle, and of course, it was harder to identify Jews who were physically indistinguishable from white Christians.l

You ignore that bottomless pit of Anti-Christian teachings in one of the suppossedly "holiest" books of the Jews, The Talmud. This book preaches such slander and blasphemy as, "Christ is burning in hell in boiling excrement", Christ's mother was a whore", "Christ was fathered by a Roman soldier". "It's ok to cheat and lie to the goyim". "The Goyim are like animals and only exist to serve as slaves to the Jews".

Why do you only focus on anti-semitism and not Jewish behavior? Could you please bother to define "anti-semitism"? It used to be used about people who hated Jews, now it seems to be anyone that the Jews hate. Using ad hominem attacks without defining them do a disservice to your readers.

I stopped watching/reading "geopolitical analysts", simple pundits, and those who call themselves "journalists" the moment I saw that their heads live inside a (really badly written) superhero flick. And it was a long time ago.

There a good analysts and bad ones. The good ones learn from their mistakes. My Dad was a journalist. I promised him I would never become one. So, as a young man, just HAD to become a stringer during the Vietnam War, at which point Iearned why he didn't want me to become one.

When I grew up (early sixties Canada), my immigrant parents visited a Jewish doctor (dr Pearl) who was very (financially) considerate of poor immigrants with a big family, a Mensch. However, he was not allowed to be a member of the local country club, as Jews were barred!

By the way, at dusk (8 or 9 o'clock), a siren went off, with a curfew for all unaccompanied minors (<17); this was apparently perfectly normal for society then (we lived in a placid provincial town).

This was more than 20 years after WW2.
