thank you - and what you said about canada - both ways - totally hear you. and it makes me want to throw forks - but there it is. how's the coffee where you are? serious question! hope if you brew your own the taste is rich and rewarding
It's nice to start my day with a smile of the good memory of our several dogs over the years. I always loved how they would slide their front paws out, neck outstretched and head down for a deep and reverent bow. Oh, I'm sure a vet of great rationality would just say they are stretching, but I agree, it always seemed to me more of a prayer of dog grateful for just being.
Coincidentally in my inbox this morning was this from Servite Sister, Joyce Rupp. One need not be Christian to see the truth and depth of her words.
"We can’t just sit on the roadside of life and call ourselves followers of Jesus. We are to do more than esteem him for his generous love and dedicated service. We do not hear Jesus grumbling about the challenges and demands of this way of life. We do not see him “talking a good talk” but doing nothing about it. He describes his vision and then encourages others to join him in moving those teachings into action."

Thank you, Julian. You have lived a life worth living. May it continue for a long time still, and as you wish it to be.
"Live simply so others may simply live."
You've led a good life, Julian. May it continue to be lived simply and close to nature and acting with compassion toward humanity.

And thank you for being you, JUlian

Julians voice in South-front, what a surprice. I used to read SF regularly but "lost it" during last year. Now I will start reading/listening again.
I´m 73 yrs young and I have also experienced financial hardship but survived.
Most important is - stay healthy !! (reject all covid shots and other poisonous jabs!)
Good voice!
