Timothy Snyder is reported to be fleeing the USA and taking refuge at the University of Toronto. Even if it's just U of T, I have to wonder what we did to deserve this. He seems slightly unhinged on the topics of Vladimir Putin and modern Russia.
My take is simple, Luciferic and State of Nature philosophy run the world. Those that uphold it in the upper echelons look at that philosophy from many perspectives, the worst being full on Satanists with full unmentionable depravity and the least worse being moral relativists with money and power as their god. No matter where on the spectrum of evil these people are Sophistry and/or violence are their tools. They are gifted at weaponizing everything including immutable cosmic truths. Knowingly or unknowingly they are truly Lucifer's spiritual children. The whole philosophy has systemic organizers, some of them hardworking, smart, passionate, committed and sometimes courageous. Putin's value systems and abilities to them is like throwing holy water on a vampire. Rooting this system out is a mighty dirty job but somebody's got to do it or the world won't straighten up and run right. Everybody who wants to can find a role, even if its lighting a truth candle or praying. Lucifer's gotta go (and Zionists, Nazis, Imperialists, Masons, etc. with him).
Western intellectual elites are usually sons of the divorce. They hate their fathers, either because their boomer fathers are egotistical pieces of shit, or because their mothers are shit and painted their ex-husbands as the devil, or more usually, some combination of both.
Putin represents for them this patriarchal, masculine figure they resent, because they felt abandoned. Not to mention that patriarchalism means rules, duty, things that are completely anathema for those privileged kids from Ivy League schools that are the bulk of the western commentariat.

I guess it has something to do with how all three of the depicted are somehow "demonized" in the western world... but foremost it serves the usual "horseshoe-theory", Hannah Arendts intellectual declaration of bankruptcy and the Collective West(tm)s favourite.
First, there is absolutely no path that leads from Hitler to Stalin, in fact they are "das genaue Gegenteil".
Second, are you sure Hitler is still such a demon in the western world? Taking into account, how European politicians talk and especially German ones like Baerbock, Kiesewetter, von der Leyen, Pistorius or Merz and knowing their family history, I am pretty sure that is not the case.
Third, where is the historical logic? Like this, the picture functions rather like clickbailt or like a headline in a yellow press tabloid.
I assume for a northern American this image comes somehow natural and is burned into the collective memory over decades and I donnot blame you for that, but it still is testament to everything that is wrong with western histiography and ideology.
My proposal: Replace Hitler with Tsar Paul I., this widely misunderstood and misrepresented Russian emporer, who was murdered by a cabal of the English Secret Service and Baltic nobleman, because he didn't want to fight Napoleon I. on behalf of the British Empire. Then it would at least make sense historically and on a couple of higher levels as well.
