It's refreshing there's at least one democracy in the Americas.

C'mon, Julian - the average American is clueless on Venezuela or any other 'American' use of military and other evil practices of DaSynagogue of Satan. Some call DSOS as Clown World, oligarchs or whatever, but to constantly accuse America as the instigator in these terrorist activities is either naive or deliberate misdirection. You know damn well who rules America - we saw it when DaGenocider in chief spoke to the trained seals in congress clapping their flippers last week.

America is now NOT-America!

My wife says "Brilliant". I agree. I wonder seriously about the new, old thing being proposed for Canada by our UNIPARTY political system. Pierre Poislievre (I translate that as 'Pea-hare') with his acidic tongue, an orphan (adopted), yet married to a Venezuelan banker's daughter who poses as just ordinary folks if not outright working class. Pierre already regularly smears shit on himself at his stump speeches, by invariably mentioning 'global dictators' - citing Putin, Xi Jin Peng and Maduro. Alarming to say the least as thee three dictators have lifted people out of poverty and created more or less enviable societies within a matter of a few decades. Granted that Maduro is the last of these as he is closest geographically to the Great Satan, the USA.

I fear Canadians are being led to the slaughter, only a little more slowly than with the King Jackass, Turrdeau. That is if Poislievre and Wife's (or perhaps vice-versa) perfect democracy - Canadahar- even bothers to hold more elections as every other legal, precedural and ethical rule has been violated at will by the Trudeau Regime with the full support of the Socialist NDP (whatever that means) and a supine response by the "Opposition".

Great summation of Canucky politicks. Which are sad, sad, sad. Pea-Hair is a Turdeau" with brains. Which bodes ill. Given that JugMeat has his turban up his ass. And the Greens are biomass. Has it always been this way? I guess so. When I was young I just didn't notice.

Many, many , years ago (1970) I was a young Canadian athelete who received a fotball and track scholarship to attend an american university where i met a man who had been in viet nam fighting for the US of A. Over time we became friends and over time he was recuited by Central Intelligence to kill in countries like Nicauragua ,Thailand, Cambodia, Burma , Venezuela , and other countries.

What all these countries have in common is jungle , and his skill was jungle warfare.

During the Trump administration or Mr. Dithers as he calls him. He was called back to Washington to meet with Mr. Dithers and 2 very rich hegefund managers. Fink and Singer, kinda sounds like a jewish dance team. What was preposed was that Venezuelan oil was to be liberated. Cost was no issue.

When asked what was needed to do this job he told them he needed 150,000 american ground ,troops naval and air support and his large fee 200m.

It was all agread.

Mr. Dithers was on board and the dance team of Fink and Singer would supply the 200 large since they are connected with the wall street banks who need the oil as collateral for the derivatives problem that exists. Venezualan oil has been sanctioned to death for these 2 reasons, cripple the economy and make sure the reserves stay in tact. That is very important. even with sanctions on the oil industry then the likes of shell, exon and bp could buy the product thru middlr men. Collateral keeps the game going.

When I asked my friend how he came up with the number 200, he said Joseph Votel of centcom had received 20 m from the Isreali government to commit american troops to die in defence of Isreal and he was 10 times better at his job than Votel. He also explained that the money that Votel received was really american taxpayer funds.

In the end Mr. dithers being the bullshit windbag that he is , (really folks he's just a game show host)

reneged on the american troops suggesting Colombian and Panamanian troops be used with mercenaries.

In the end an american named Goodreau was paid 25 m and had a group of american and columbians invade Venezula. He now resides in a Venezualan Prison as the Venezualan army didn't change sides.

The latest coup attempt follows the maidan script where the election results are disputed and then the government is overthrown physically. The reason it worked in Ukraine was that Victoria Nuland( the hebrew hog) spread around 5 billion. that buys a lot of people.

As for that pretend free speecher Musk , he's on board for the free lithium.

It's all about the OIL

The CIA backed violence in Venezuala will drive more gangs into NYC, which will support the GlobalistbAgenda. It might even topple Maduro!

Fortunately, the Venezuelans are used to this by now. The opposition killed police and soldiers -- and thereby alienated the army. Personally, I don't care much for Maduro. He is no Chavez. But so far he's managing.

Alan MacLeod has an interesting post today at Consortium. He gets into the “rigged election” in Venezuela (according to the US and its loyalists abroad) while spelling out the procedures hailed by many election observers.

-To cast a ballot, voters must present their national identification card, and their fingerprints are scanned.

-If both the I.D. card and fingerprint match those on the national database, they can vote on a touchscreen electronic voting machine.

-The electronic vote is sent to the National Electoral Commission headquarters in Caracas, and a paper ballot is printed.

-Voters must check the ballot and place it in a box.

-Then they must put their thumb on an ink blot and stamp it next to their name on an electoral roll to prove they have voted.

-They then physically sign their name beside the fingerprint.

-When polls close, paper ballots are counted in front of witnesses from all parties and compared to the electronic vote count.

-If there are any discrepancies, a full audit is conducted.

Now the US system:

-Following a rigged primary system (proven beyond doubt by the DNC shenanigans in 2016, 2020, and 2024), the two primary parties pull out all stops to keep other candidates from ballots in state-by-state lawsuits and election committee objections.

-PACs can spend unlimited sums.

-AIPAC, which should be registered as a foreign agent is exempted from such a classification.

-Debates are rigged to keep out “third party” candidates.

-Each state has its own rules and laws, which for federal elections one would think would be a level playing field.

-There is no consistent process on how votes are cast (electronic/paper/hanging chads).

-Voting is done on a weekday with polls generally open from 7AM to 7PM.

-Candidates need not campaign or even appeal to solid red or blue states discouraging voters to even show up as the electoral college guarantees the “winner” takes all the electoral votes in 48 states and DC.

So right—we need to lecture the world on free and fair elections as the great defenders of democracy.

Yes, that is the post I linked to in my article--just reposted on Consortium. I didn't quote this part, hoping people would go to Macleod's original post. He deserves support.

The socialist paradise vs the big bad US is lazy and insulting to anyone who actually cares about what goes on. Waste of time to read something this devoid of actual information.
