Whichever candidate "wins" first in line at the hog trough, the real (wanna-be) masters of earth win their power, forever wars, extermination programs, torture for fun & profit, and so on. And we all lose.

I wasn't going to vote but voting for a town ordinance codifying our right to obtain, eat & drink food & seeds directly from farmers via purchase, exchange, barter, trade, etc. at any public venue could matter greatly in the future, so I will.

Since I'll already be there, I will write in my Prez & VP choices: King of Kings & Prince of Peace, respectively.

Exactly.

First comment which makes sense.

Thank you.

I messed up the write-in. I forgot we have ranked choice voting now, so wasn't sure how to voted every choice for a single write-in slot.

Then I saw 2 peace candidates made the ballot so I figured I'd also vote for Cornell West & Jill Stein. Then I screwed up again, accidentally putting them both in 1st place. I could have gotten a new ballot, but instead decided to just toss it.

I screwed up the 1st time we had ranked choice too. It's not really complicated. I just seem to revert to old habits!

Fortunately the local issues were simple yes/no on a separate ballot...

The liberal-fascist Council on Foreign Relations network has controlled the US govt and media since WW2. See charts: swprs.org/the-american-empire-and-its-media/

Allen Dulles, who ran the CIA "Operation Mockingbird", was a CFR director for 40 years. Media barons Paley (CBS), Sarnoff (NBC), Luce (Time/Life), Meyer/Graham (WashPost) and the Sulzbergers (NYTimes) were CFR members.

Same propaganda, different decade. Google, Facebook, Bloomberg and Reuters are CFR corporate partners. Atlantic, Nation and Time magazines are owned by CFR members.

Patrick Lawrence says that he reads the New York Times to find out what the establishment wants you to think is the truth. I'll read Patrick and let him tell me what he found so I don't have to check MSM.

I live in the state of Georgia, on the northside of Atlanta where the urban Democrats give way to the suburban Republicans and the interest in this election is much less than 2020. Also I have seen yards with signs for a Democrat state representative but without a Harris sign. I get the feeling Trump will win most of the swing states by 3 to 5 percent. Personally I voted for Jill Stein, as long as people don't vote for 3rd party candidates the Democrats and Republicans will keep giving us bad choices.

Agree with your point . Time to move on but how I guess?

How about truth is real!

This is a great post BUT why would you get exhausted over something you have NO control over?

I wasn't exhausted by events. Just physically exhausted. I go shopping by bicycle. To buy food cheaply (I live literally on a shoestring) I have to go to maybe 3 or 4 stores in different places. But I had a flat tire and had to walk my bicycle a couple of kilometers to a bike shop-- only to be told they were too busy to fix it that day. A typhoon had hit Japan and it was raining hard. So I went to another shop and got it fixed. Did my shopping and went home, cold and wet -- and tired! Geopolitics? I don't have control. But I can speak out. That what we all must do. Observe. Think. Speak out. If we ALL did that, things might change a little.

Buy "no-flat" tires or at least thicker, "thorn resistant" tubes. These are well worth it, especially if you rely on the bike for daily use.

When your in your 70s you can get exhausted really really easily!

Maybe it was getting ready for Chappy that tired him out 😊

Yeah, I have had to "catproof" may apartment to meet the Shelter's stringent requirements, which include lying about my age (*too old!) and pretending to be married. Apartment from that all sort other stuff. On the other hand, it is forced to me to throw out a lot of junk -- mountains of stuff including stuff left by my former partner of 12 years who dumped me after I lost my retirement funds.. Now the apartment is much better ! And I am MUCH happier! I count myself lucky.

Yup. I got my last new pet last Christmas, a little golden doodle. She's funny as hell & great company for my lab & me, but wearing me out! From now on I'm downsizing at least through attrition. It's all gotten to be too much!

I have always tried to be a minimalist. Mostly because of my experience when I was younger, when I really had nothing at all.

I understand. As a child I had loads & loads of stuff, but zero love. Literally zero, as my mother hated babies & small children, & I was my father's last shot at a son, & no grandparents to fill the gap. The "stuff" was both to distract & to give outward appearances.

Since I moved here, I adopted critters to fill the love void & as a life purpose, especially after dumped from my lab job. Because I know what it is to be unwanted & abandoned. Both ponies were rescues & my 1st 2 dogs were shelter pups. My 2 (soon to become 10, now down to 3) angora rabbits were rescues. At the beginning of covid, some parakeets dumped in a local shelter. I brought them home & made an aviary for 10. I bought Peaches the doodle mainly because I could no longer keep up with Gracie's energy needs. Also, after a maple tree fell & nearly took out my family room with all of us in it the week before Christmas, I needed to laugh.

So I'm exhausted a lot & treading water every day. My ss check barely meets our daily needs, but somehow it always works out.

I vote for Juan Guaido as president. The media has not covered him for a while. I am glad that you give him a few words.

Why not? He has as much credibility as the others. Or maybe Zelensky? He is going to need a new job.

You had me laughing hysterically throughout! I really shouldn't because it's a tragedy. It reminds of 1845 before the Second American Civil War. I fear a third is coming. I prefer a Second American Revolution of a united nation against the Oligarchs and Plutarch Servants.

Americans don't realize our first American Civil War was during the American Revolution. It was fought between the loyalists and revolutionaries.

Oscar Wilde got it right. Also Ken Kesey in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest who inspired large parts of my last "Special Article". If you let them take away laughter, you have lost everything.
