I read Simplicius' each week and I notice comments saying: Why does Russia just not finish the whole war quickly?

Going slowly is very smart to me, mainly because the Russians are not expending a huge amount of energy and they have enough supplies + they are still learning. On top of this the US is getting low on weapons which I am sure is part of Russia's objective.

It is indeed a crucial part of the Russian strategy. Let's put it like a chess match: Black insists on using "showy" tactics, focused on rapid deep strikes directly on the opponent's king using long range, fast pieces like rooks, queens and bishops; White plays slow and steady, focusing on controlling the center of the board and systematically destroying the opponent's forces. Imagine the Kursk incursion as a bishop landing in the backyard of White, only to be encircled and destroyed by pawns and a knight. Black then insists, sending rooks, the other bishop and his queen, only for them to be destroyed by White's defensive line. In the end, the board looks like a wasteland with Black only having a few pawns left while White has nearly all his pieces in place. White has every advantage and all Black can do at this point is either concede (which it will never do) or keep throwing desperate hail-mary attacks in hopes of a miracle. Going on the offensive for White is a self-defeating strategy because it would be much more profitable to keep going slow and steady and let Black destroy itself.

Also, they are rotating troops to build a huge army with real battle experience. This is why NK sent troops too.

NATO has only sent special forces.

Im positive Lindsay Graham will be able to come up with a piece of Strategic Genius. He knows how to defeat the whole World with America's strongest military the World has ever known. He'll lead the from the front, the brave heroic Warrior that he is. I can just imagine him leading the charge, giving no thought of his own welfare. Just like all those Neocons, who believe America has an unlimited military & unlimited power. With unlimited men, machines & money to dominate the World. He wouldn't dream of asking any Americans to send their children to die in any Wars. Not while he can use the sons & daughters of proxy nations to fight to the last one. He doesn't know what his endgame is, but he is guided by a higher power. This higher power will obviously be Jewish, as we all know they are the chosen ones. The likes of Lindsay Graham are willing to sacrifice absolutely everything (except himself) to serve his higher power. He stands by the side of King Bullshit, who he knows will always put the entity occupying Palestinian lands 1st & foremost. King Bullshit is always playing 5D chess being the ultimate in intelligence. Never allowing emotions get in the way of his narcissistic ways. God Bless Murica home of the gullible easily manipulated MAGA crowd. They really should be known as the MEGA crowd. Make Epstein Great Again.

Slow and steady until at least 2032-2035.

I can't think of any conflict on this scale taking less than a decade. Syria is still a mess. Are the Americans still occupying the NE of Syria? And all that for only 300 thousand barrels of oil per day- greater Israel of course, and the arms sales!

So Ukraine is a bit of a flop, but they're still making money on arms, it might not have destabilized Russia or gave them access to more oil.

Iran would have to be the oil provider, no wonder they're in the WMD realm. That's a good 3million barrels per day. And they have no democracy...

At least Israel is purchasing weapons too! With US tax money.

So all in all very good, the MIC is happy, the monkeys are occupied, politicians have baddies to blame on both sides, it's just the people dying on the frontline that seem to be inconvenienced. They are dead though, so no complaints. Perfect.

I think 2027 is probably the soonest the conflict will end, and maybe that is too optimistic. It will continue until NATO stops supplying armaments or there is a complete collapse of Ukraine as a state (no money for anything), and contrary to our expectations this is obviously not going to happen soon. There will never be enough for Ukraine to win, and the depravation of the Ukrainian people will continue unabated, but there will likely always be enough to keep killing 100s of thousands of Ukrainian men. The wicked witches of the West know that Ukrainians and their neighbours will blame Russia for everything, so they will get away with it. It's profoundly evil but also ruthlessly intelligent. Meanwhile they will continue with the asymmetrical pressures and provocations, just as they have been for decades.

Something tells me the war will not end like in the movies about WW2, with Ukrainians fighting in the streets of Kiev against hordes of Russian tanks, but rather as a re-enactment of the Kabul rout, with elites grabbing all the money they can get before fleeing to the airport or the border, pursued by uprising civilians and military defectors while protected by mercenaries.

(There's rumors about the Ukrainian government preparing to abandon Kiev and flee to Lvov, much closer to the border, in a move that reminds me so much of the Mussolini government in Salò. Repubblica Sociale Ucraina* is coming shortly, I guess)

* maybe needs historical context: Repubblica Sociale Italiana - Italian Social Republic - was the name of the fascist state formed after Italy surrendered in 1943, occupied Northern Italy and was effectively a German puppet

Thank you Julian for this analysis of the current tactical landscape on the Ukraine Frontlines.

And thank you for the accent you give on the new Drones capabilities that promise to change that landscape even more, while Trump is considering to send 10 (TEN) Patriot missiles to Kiev, that at most could shoot down 5 of the 700 Russian drones next night.

So... I sense the time has come...

You mention Odessa and you are right. The recent growth in manipulations of MI6 on regime changes in the Balkans, Romania, Moldova, and around the black sea (Turkey) and Iran (Azerbaijan, Syria), as well as the constant growing number of French Soldiers, weapons and ammunitions to the Odessa region (and the intensifying of Russian Hypersonic and Drone attacks on those) indicates the urgency for Putin to speed up the Zaporizhia Offensive, to provide north-flank cover for the crossing of the Dnieper somewhere around Kherson, followed by a cutting off of the Black sea coast (Odessa) from the rest of the remnant of the Ukraine, by connecting with Transnistria, cutting off the train connection to Lvov (and from there to Kiev).

Exciting times are ahead of us. I've stocked up on a whole bag of DIY popcorn...

By the way...

The latest interview of Alex Krainer by Nima shows that Alex confirms my sensing of the real location of The Monster and also confirms my vision on Trump's art of communicating...

About Trump: 'Trump's rhetoric for domestic consumption is best ignored in order to avoid brain injuries.'

And indeed, since i do not really listen to him any more, my consumption of headache pills dropped to zero...

About the Location and Scope of the Monster:

"

11:26: What I call the global empire is basically the network of vested interest that is using the United States and certain other countries in order to consolidate their power over the world. Through proxies, you know, like Ukraine, like Israel, but it comes at a huge cost.

And every empire through history has paid very dearly for the maintenance of the empire, because the benefits of an empire are limited to this very narrow network of vested interests, while the cost is borne by all. And the cost is usually much much greater than these people's benefits.

So they have to ultimately be resorting to dirty dirty dirty games, political assassinations, color revolutions, and all of these things in order to make sure that everybody's carrying water for them. But you know, the farther this juggernaut goes, the more obvious the game becomes and the more obvious the cost becomes versus the benefits.

And we we see today that the European Union which is part of this empire, the Great Britain which is the the Home Turf of the empire and the, you know, the city of London is the strategic and spiritual headquarters of the empire. And the United States and Canada and Japan and all the countries that are allied as well, that are actually vassals to this empire, they're all becoming increasingly depleted.

They're all in catastrophic fiscal conditions.

Their economies are disintegrating, Germany included, right?

"goal of liberating the entire Donbass". I like the fact that the NYT says "liberating". That's a word with a positive connotation. Much better than "occupying the Donbass". So in extensis, this means that the Donbass is better of under Moscow, than under Kiev. Which we already knew, but earth-shattering to hear the NUT state that.

"Odessa will go": let's hope so. That'll shut up the West for good (or make them go all-in to "liberate Odessa". Most likely getting killed in the process, making their politicians loose their positions in their home countries, helping the nationalistic parties in power. Finally putting their countries citizens first...
